Avalanche risk: Between Sailerhof farm and the ascent to Seebergalm mountain hut there is the risk of avalanche in conditions of abundant snow. Caution must also be exercised on the final section of the descent to the Wanser Bach torrent!

The hiking tour on the Alps of Barbian starts at the Huber Kreuz (1621 m). From here we go to „Merlboden“ on trail nr 4. Then it continues to go round the Oberes Horn to the Unteres Horn (2044 m). There is a stop off. After the refreshment begins the descent. It goes down to „Pennleger“ (1847 m) and on trail nr 3B to the Huber Kreuz.

Escursion of average difficulty along the right shore of Pragser Wildsee lake and enjoy the beautiful view of the Seekofel peak until the Grünwaldtal valley.

Arrival: Grünwaldtal valley- Jägerhütte hut (1,750 m)

Enjoy the silence in the nature of the Ahrntal valley while snowshoe hiking on puffy snow pillows. 

The tour to the Moaralm hut (not hosted) lies on the sunny side of the Ahrntal valley.

Snowshoeing or skitouring on the Alp of Lüsen with a wonderful panoramic view to the Dolomites.
The hiker leaves his mark on the snow-covered Alp of Lüsen. Passing little alpine huts covered with snow, through the snowy romantic scenery of lawn and forest.

Starting point of the snowshoe hiking tour is the funicular railway to Resciesa, ascend with the funicular railway (for a fee); tour along Rasciesa in direction to Brogles and Geisler Alm; afterwards it is recommended to do a toboggan ride (toboggan rental at Geisler Alm) until Ranui

Snowshoeing Hike from Lüsen Berg, starting from the parking Tulper on the forest aisle of the old ski lift, Rodenecker and Lüsner Almweg, Pianer Kreuz, Alpine Hut Roner Alm and Oberhauser, back to the parking

IMPORTANT: Before a ski tour/snowshoe hike, it is essential to carefully study the weather conditions and the avalanche report or consult experts, and avalanche protection equipment is mandatory!

Shortly before the Sesto heating plant (1300 m), the ascent to the Außergsell (1955 m) takes place via trail no. 12. Always along the forest road, the route is moderately steep through the forest to the Außergsell.
The descent is on the same path.

The views make up for the sometimes arduous ascent.

Avalanche risk: Little danger of avalanches in general but when there is fresh snow, it is advisable to go back the same way!

The two-hour snowshoe hike is an easy hike for every snowshoe hiker. The Samhütte is the goal of the walk - for the way back you use the same way. The walk is recommendable because of the beautiful winter landscape and the panoramic views. The Samhütte hut is not hosted. 

The tour to the Stegeralm hut (open also in winter) is a highlight for every snowshoe hiking fan. Enjoy the stunning view of the mountains of the Ahrntal valley!

This snowshoe hike lets you explore the beautiful landscape and offers a breathtaking 360° view. Immerse yourself in nature and enjoy the tranquility offered by the Resciesa Alp, part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Puez - Odle Nature Park.

This medium-easy routeruns circularly between the villages of Corvara and Colfosco, at the foot of the majestic Sassongher mountain. The initial ascent through the woods will then give way to a spectacular view of the north face of the Sella massif.

At the foot of the Geisler peaks. During this snowshoe hike to the hut Dusler Alm and Glatschalm hikers can admire the up over 3000 meters towering pinnacles, peaks and towers of the Geisler close.

Excursion of average difficulty in the middle of a rough and untouched nature bring you to the "Kaserhütte" hut.

This hike cuts across the imposing mountain landscape coasting the Puez-Odle Nature Park: these very same Dolomites were declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in
2009.

The Sesto ski touring trail teaches you everything you need to know for safe ski touring during a tour lasting just under two hours. The ski touring trail combines basic theoretical knowledge, for example about the correct behaviour in the event of an avalanche, with an almost six-kilometre tour on which around 540 metres in altitude have to be conquered. The ski touring trail, which is equipped with information boards, starts behind the Zin Fux restaurant and leads between trees and across meadows to the Rotwand. From there to the mountain station, the uphill kick turn is practised in open terrain before returning to the valley via the ski slope.

This snowshoe trail will take you to the Sëurasas meadows, a place standing out for its lush nature and where peace and quiet reign supreme.

This easy snowshoe hike goes along the southern edge of the Puez-Odle Nature Park (UNESCO World Heritage Site), away from the ski slopes on the famous Sellaronda circuit. On a lovely hike through meadows and woods covered in deep snow, you can discover the natural scenery of the Dolomites from an entirely new perspective.

This panoramic trail leads from the pasture Außere Schwemmalm around the ridge of Mutegg and opens the view of the glacier Hasenohr. The descent goes from pasture Innere Schwemmalm to the underlying mountain farms to S. Nicolò/St. Nikolaus and down the path of farms up to Pracupola. Return from St. Nicholas also possible with the bus!

The snowshoe hike on the sunny side of Toblach/Dobbiaco offers a beatiful view over the Höhlensteintal/Landro valley and the Toblach/Dobbiaco lake.

The Three-Alpine-Farms Hike, which leads to three different alpine farms, affords fabulous views as it leads hikers through the plateau’s unique winterlandscape and past the Bruggen Pond.

The snowshoe hike starts at the Nigerpass and follows the hiking trail no. 1 to the Messnerjoch mountain hut. This easy snowshoe or winter hike is ideal for families and offers wonderful views of the Rosengarten massif.

The snowshoe hiking tour to the Moaralm hut (not hosted) lies on the sunny side of the Ahrntal valley. Enjoy the nature of Ahrntal valley on puffy snow pillows.

The snowshoe walk to the Haniger Schwaige hut (closed in winter) takes you below the imposing face of the Rosengarten massif and under the Vajolettürme, giving you a truly unique experience of the countryside. Given that the trail leads over steep mountain meadows, you must take heed of weather conditions and avalanche warnings.
