Along alpine meadows to the waterfall below the alpine hut Sesvenna leads the first part of the ninth stage of the circular hiking trail 360° Upper Vinschgau Valley. It continues on the high mountain trail to the mountain restaurant Plantapatsch and along the “Almenweg” path to Prämajur.

The seventh stage of 360° Upper Vinschgau Valley starts in Glurns/ Glorenza, the smallest town in the alpine region and leads to the westernmost village in South Tyrol on the border to Switzerland.

The shortened variant of the eighth stage of the circular hiking trail 360° Upper Vinschgau Valley leads to the Tellajoch with a typical 360° panoramic view to the mountain peaks of the Ortler group and the Sesvenna group. The 360° viewing platform titles the mountainous panorama.
From there it continues with insights into the Upper Vinschgau Valleys alpine pasture to Schlinig/Slingia.
The trail is easy to walk and suitable for the whole family. It initially leads to the Schgaguler Schwaige and then continues to the Sanon Hut.
The return route follows trail no. 6, passing again by the Schgaguler Schwaige and finally reaching the Mont Sëuc mountain station.
This easy and tranquil hiking tour leads us to the so called "Rosssprung/ Salto del Cavallo" (Horse jump), passing by farms and an old church, built in 1600.
Beginning the walk in the cultivated land in the valley, we cross into typical high alpine larch forests. The forest is of great importance since it protects the valley from avalanches and falling rocks - but it can only fulfill this role if the flora and fauna are kept in a harmonious relationship. Above the woods, we find alpine cabins - witnesses of past labours. Over the years, farmers have shaped the landscape and kept in balanced.

The walk near the city provides visitors with countless breath-taking views and can be recommended at all times of the year. Even in deepest winter there are plenty of opportunities for observing nature, as the local microclimate ensures that it is exceptionally mild here throughout the year. We’re always surrounded by a thriving natural environment and, although the promenade is artificially laid out and has been landscaped in many places, this is nevertheless a retreat where unspoilt nature can be enjoyed.
The first part of the sixth stage of the circular hiking trail 360° Upper Vinschgau Valley runs along the animal forest path “Gumperle”. From there it goes past the Lichtenberg Castle to the medieval town of Glurns/ Gorenza.

The simple panels describe the Algunder Waal, the old grape varieties and the work of the vineyard watchman known as the Saltner. His job was to watch over the ripe harvest.

The start of the fourth stage of the circular hiking trail 360° Upper Vinschgau Valley is the mountaineering village Matsch/ Mazia. Along this stretch, you will experience the numerous cultural highlights of the Upper Vinschgau Valley.
Explore Matsch, the mountaineering village with its spectacular view of the grand Ortler and the Matsch mountains. Traversing the valley, Ackerwaal takes you high above fields and blooming meadows.

Agumser Bergwaal is a trail for sun lovers taking you through forests, meadows,
hamlets, and past a barbecue site with a panoramic swing set before reaching the
hamlet of Stilfserbrücke.

A beautiful hiking trip near Luttach/Lutago and around the mysterious Schwarzbachklamm is the round trip to the waterfalls. Starting from the sculpture and water park, the route follows the
easy hiking trail no. 23 signposted “Wasserfall-Runde” (circular route to the waterfalls), which inclines slightly uphill. The trail leads past a former Waal irrigation channel, which was once used for irrigation. At the next crossroads, the route crosses over a small bridge on the left and then continues through the Schwarzbach Gorge until the hikers finally find themselves standing in front of the magnificent Schwarzbach waterfall.
The return route first follows the same path until the first junction. The trail now climbs up to the left and leads to the intersection with the Brunnberg road. Here the route turns left again and then follows this road to the first bend where it continues straight ahead along the gravel path. Passing by the Schwarzbach stream, the trail now heads downhill, until, after a short time both the 2nd Schwarzbach waterfall and the 1st fall can be seen from only a short distance until finally the starting point is reached again.
Idyllic mountain villages with a unique charm is what the second stage of the circular hiking trail 360° Upper Vinschgau Valley has to offer.
This hiking tour will guide us to a ruin called "Leiterburg", then to a long stone staircaise and finally to Ora. From the ruins we will have a marvellous view of South Tyrol's south.
The 360° Upper Vinschgau Panorama Trail is an adventure circular hiking trail that connects eleven villages in eleven stages. It offers some of the most beautiful views of the Upper Vinschgau around Lake Reschen. In addition to a variety of scenic and cultural highlights, hikers will be surprised by individual, interactive nature installations at each stage.
