Go along the western shore of the lake to the south-eastern end of the lake, then upwards to Buco del Giavo/Nabiges Loch cross the valley to the other side and to the right to Porta sora al Forn, then slightly downwards to the alpine hut “Rifugio Biella/Seekofelhütte”. Walking time: 3,5 hours Sign-post: No. 1 Challenge: very demanding
From Niederrasen / Redensberg (1,379m) > path nr. 4 > Aschbach Alm hut and Redensberger Alm hut 1,945m (not managed).
This contemplative walk starts in Silbergasse and takes you gently up to the Mooshöfe farms. There, the path climbs steeply to the right and then heads south through the forest towards the railway line. Past the ‘Jagglkapelle’ chapel, the trail continues to the ‘Ploserkreuz’ cross, where you pass through a narrow railway subway. This takes you towards the Pflersch river. The path crosses the road from Pflersch and finally leads to the Maria-Hilf chapel in Außerpflersch. You can return to Gossensass along the riverside promenade. Or you can continue right along the cycle path to the church path to Ladurns.
The perfect walk for a relaxing afternoon.
Antholz Mittertal > sports area > Eggerhöfe > Klammbach waterfall > Berger- and Brennalm > after this cabins turn left on the "Mittertaler Höhenweg" (mark n. 12) > walk in direction Kumpflalm > as soon as you reach the forest road descend on the left > Eggerhöfe > Antholz Mittertal. The walking tour can also be done the other way around.
The winter hike begins at the "Dax" car park, which you reach via the Brenner state road. From the left-hand bend of the highway exit between Gossensass and the Brenner Pass, a small side road takes you to the car park (signposted ‘Hühnerspielhütte’). From there, a wide, well-maintained forest path leads you uphill in gentle hairpin curves through the forest and across clearings before the path finally climbs more steeply to the Hühnerspielhütte (1868 m). Note that the hut is closed in the 2024/25 winter season. Make sure you have enough to drink and provisions with you, as there is no refreshment stop.
From the barbecue area Oberrasen > follow the mark n. 4B: first along the new built trail and then as soon as it meets the forest road always continue on it to the Laner Alm hut (hut not managed)
From Antholz Mittertal (sports area) > Eggerhöfe > turn right > follow the foresty street > n. 3/12 > Klammbach Waterfalls > Bergeralm.

Fascinating nature. Among rugged rocks and lush wide Alpine meadows, this round trip around Mt. Sass Putia reveals in an impressive way the natural life of the high Alpine region, with all of its diverse wildlife, vegetation and rock formations.
From Niederrasen (church) > path n. 21 (steep) > Obergoste > Feichter und Breitwiesenhof > Kirmlehof (approx. 10 min. further above Berggasthaus Mudler) > descend on mark n. 20 > path Imberg > Oberstallerhöfe > Niederrasen or Oberrasen.
Hut situated in the heart of the Dolomites, sorrounded by meadows and an impressive mountain backdrop. Go on the west bank of the lake to the south-east end of the lake, then up into “Buco Giavo/Nabiges Loch”, continue to the “Porta Sora al Forn”, and turn right to the “Törl” and the Rifugio Biella/Seekofelhütte. Continue on the wide hiking-way along slightly uphill through pastures and down to the alpine hut “Rifugio Senes/Senneshütte”. Walking time: 4,5 hours Mark: no. 1; no. 6A Difficulty: very demanding
From Antholz Niedertal (towards the fishpond or starting from Walderhöfe) follow the mark n. 31b > Hofstatt Alm.
From Prato Piazza car park along a gravel road to the alpine guesthouse “ Plätzwiese/Prato Piazza”. Between the guesthouse and Hotel Hohe Gaisl turn left on to the wide path (nr. 40) leading through fields in an easterly direction. Hike upwards to the crossing Dolomites Hiking Path no. 3. Now in a northerly direction up the steep, rocky path of the south-western wall of the “Dürrenstein/Picco di Vallandro”, along some turns and continue on gravel to the rocky summit. After a small ridge you'll get to a short section secured with a wire-cable and further to the summit. The walking time is 4 hours. Sign-post: No. 40 Challenge: demanding; vertigo and slip resistance required! Attention: This hike is only suitable for older children with sufficient stamina and hiking experience; it is recommended to secure children with a rope on the section secured with a wire-cable. For the most part you are hiking in the sun.
From Antholz Mittertal (sports area) > in direction Eggerhöfe > before the farm turn right > path 11 > Lake Antholz > circular path around the Lake Antholz > back on path n. 1 on the left of the main road to Antholz Mittertal.
From Antholz Niedertal> mark 6/11 to the Pfaffingerhof and Wiesemannhof > continue on path n. 11 (Franzosensteig) > continue as described above.
From Braies along the western end of the lake, turn right into the Grünwaldtal/Val Foresta, to Altkasern/Casera Vecchia. From there part a steeply path up to the high alpine hut Malga Colli Alti/Hochalmhütten. Sign-post: no. 19, Walking time: 3 hours. Challenge: demanding Tip: Trip to the lake „Lago dei Colli Alti/Hochalmsee“ Easy hike to one of the most beautiful lake of the Dolomites. From the alpine hut „Malga Colli Alti/Hochalmhütten“ following the wide path to the „Giogo di Montecroce/Kreuzjoch“, turn rigth into „Val Lapadures/Lapadurestal“ and then turn left and slightly upward to the beautiful lake. Walking time: 1 hour Sign-post: no. 19, no. 3 Challenge: moderately demanding
From Nieder- or Oberrasen > path n. 20 > Berggasthaus Mudler > path marked n. 31 > Lutterkopf > crossing the Durakopf on mark n. 31 > descent on mark n. 38 > Taistner Vorderalm (rest station) > Mudler > Rasun.
With its mountain forests, waterfalls and unspoilt alpine pastures, the lesser-known Flaggertal Valley is a hidden gem in South Tyrol.
The excursion around the pearl of the Dolomites crosses a small chapel. Part of the circuit is practicable through a stair path. Croda del Becco / Seekofel Peak is marvelously reflected in the lake. Walking time: 1 hour Sign-post: No. 1, 19
From Brückele/Ponticello you turn right before the bridge across the river onto a forest path; at the chapel turn right again to Postmeisteralm/Malga Posta, continue upwards until shortly before the Portella/Törl) and along the western slope to the summit. Sign-post: No. 29 Challenge: very demanding. Alternative: departure from alpine hut “Rossalm/Malga Rossalm” from the alpine hut “Rossalm/Malga Rossalm” upwards to Kuhglättenpinggl; continue in a northerly direction to the big Val Cavallo/gr. Rosstal and to the Gamssattel/Sella dei camosci, then to the right and up steeply to the summit. Walking time: 2 hours Sign-post: no. 4, no. 28 Challenge: demanding

From the car park directly at the lake along a transport road to the Riedlhof farm, then on a hiking path to Alpe di Pra della Vacca/Kühwiesenhütte and slightly upwards to the peak. Walking time: 2,5 hours Sign-post: No. 20 Challenge: moderately demanding Alternative: departure from Steinwandthof Behind the Steinwandhof following the transport road, then turn left onto the hiking path to Malga Wöggen/Wöggenalm; from here somewhat steeper to the ridge and continue to the left to the peak. Waling time: 2,5 hours Sign-post: no. 20A, no. 20 Challenge: demanding
From Antholz Mittertal (Nösslerhof) > foresty road > Agstalm > Ausserwegeralm > Pichleralm (no rest stops). Descend to Antholz Obertal or to Antholz Mittertal on the same path.
Distinctive and sophisticated mountain with a beautiful view. From Pragser Wildsee lake towards the eastern shore, turn left on a forestry road to a trail which branches off on adventurous exposed walls by the “Zwölf Apostel/Dodici Apostoli” notch leads. From there it goes on to “Weißlahn/Lavina Bianca”. Curvy and platy rocks to get to the ridge and after a somewhat exposed traverse put on the final path to the summit. Walking time: 3,5 hours Sign-post: no 58 Challenge: very demanding, vertigo and slip resistance required!
From the skislopes “Kameriot” turn left until “Buchsenriedl” and then further down to the alpine hut “Putzalm”. Continue on the trail until Sarlsattel peak. From there, turn left and continue until you reach the peak. Walking time: 3,5 hours Sign-post: no. 15, no. 16, no. 16A, no. 33 Challenge: very demanding, vertigo and slip resistance required!
