If you are looking for a relaxing circular walk not far from the town center, we have the perfect suggestion for you. On the southern side of the village of Ortisei, there is a pleasant footpath that runs along the edge of the forest: an easy walking trail with gentle ascents and descents, suitable at any time of the day.
At first, the path follows the Gardena river “Derjon”, before soon heading towards the Minerthof. From there, the paved path gently winds along the forest edge up to the Furdenan slope, from where you can enjoy a panoramic view over the entire village.
Not far away is the Rainell Dolomites Retreat, from where you can return to the center by walking along the sidewalk on Vidalong Street.
Along the route, there are several seating areas where you can relax and fully enjoy the view of the beautiful mountain village of Ortisei. A circular walk that is perfectly suited for both young and old alike.
