A beautiful walk from Stefansdorf/Santo Stefano to  Haidenberg, through the snowy landscape to enjoy the silence of nature in winter.

An easy hike for the whole family! Along the old military road from the first World War, in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage site with views of imposing Dolomites peaks, such as Hohe Gaisel peak, Tofane and Monte Cristallo, you walk towards the Dürrensteinhütte hut.
The Dürrensteinhütte hut is open during the entire winter season.

The snowshoe hike on the Cima Lasta/Astjoch Peak (2,194 m) is one of the most rewarding things to do in the area. The magnificent summit view of the surrounding mountains is simply impressive.

Before you start for a snowshoe hike you should always consult the avalanche and weather report!

The 2.5 km hike through the Wielental/Valle di Vila has no difficulties and is therefore also suitable for families with children.

Easy hike to one of the most important places of pilgrimage in the Pustertal valley, whose little church " Unserer Lieben Frau von Loreto" was built around the middle of the 17th century.

From the car park directly at the lake along a transport road to the Riedlhof farm, then on a hiking path to Alpe di Pra della Vacca/Kühwiesenhütte and slightly upwards to the peak. Walking time: 2,5 hours Sign-post: No. 20 Challenge: moderately demanding Alternative: departure from Steinwandthof Behind the Steinwandhof following the transport road, then turn left onto the hiking path to Malga Wöggen/Wöggenalm; from here somewhat steeper to the ridge and continue to the left to the peak. Specatcular peak with breathtaking 360°-view! Along the western shore of the lake to the south-eastern end of the lake, then upwards to Buco del Giavo/Nabiges Loch cross the valley to the other side and to the right to Porta sora al Forn. From there, the trail branches off to the right over rocky terrain to the summit. Exposed sections are secured with wire rope. Sign-post: No 1, from “Rifugio Biella” without number - marked in red Challenge: very demanding, vertigo and slip resistance required!

The approximately 1,5 kilometer long lern-path is easily passable and pass by the fishpond of Bagni di Braies Vecchia/Bad Altprags. Along the path explain many informationsboards the main characteristics of the spring. Walking time: 1 hour Sign-post: No. 37

A beautiful snowshoe hike with moderate difficulty and beautiful view on the Dolomites, as well as on the main Alpine ridge and the Rieserferner peaks.

Near the ski lifts of Braies Vecchio/Altprags begins the way with the mark No. 15 to the Malga Putz/Putzalm. At the beginning you walk between green meadows. At approximately 1,600-m height the road breaks off to a path well marked in the wood. Walking time: 2 hours Sign-post: No. 15

Gentle, buggy-friendly promenade walk on the southern slopes of Bolzano

The walk near the city provides visitors with countless breath-taking views and can be recommended at all times of the year. Even in deepest winter there are plenty of opportunities for observing nature, as the local microclimate ensures that it is exceptionally mild here throughout the year. We’re always surrounded by a thriving natural environment and, although the promenade is artificially laid out and has been landscaped in many places, this is nevertheless a retreat where unspoilt nature can be enjoyed.

You circle the pearl of the Dolomite Lakes, the Pragser Wildse Lake!The path leads you past a small chapel under the light shade of spruce, larch and pine. You can admire the imposing Seekofel/Croda del Becco. The walking time is approx 1 hour, the sigpost: No. 1, 19

This snowshoe hike leads into the tranquil and secluded nature of the Totmoos biotope. In this protected moorland, numerous water lilies can be found in summer, which are decorating the pond and are covered in snow and ice in winter. The nature reserve also provides a home for many forest inhabitants. The path follows gentle ascents and passes through quiet forests, providing a perfect retreat from everyday life. Along the way, you are repeatedly rewarded with views of the surrounding Dolomite mountains and the Eggental Valley.

The Haflinger Adventure Trail, which reach from Hafling village to St. Kathrein, is dedicated to the docile and majestic Haflinger horses with their flaxen manes.

At the didactical stations along the way, there’s plenty to learn about the Haflinger horses and how they evolved over time.

This path leads the hiker to the mountain village of Stelvio, past parts of the historic trans-alpine crossing route and past the prehistoric settlement of „Gaschlin“. There will be a panoramic view of the Ortles range during the hike. The historically important points will be pointed out by information panels. Agumser Bergwaal is a trail for sun lovers taking you through forests, meadows, 
hamlets, and past a barbecue site with a panoramic swing set before reaching the 
hamlet of Stilfserbrücke.

This peak offer you a wonderful view over the Braies Valley. From the skislopes “Kameriot” you turn left until “Buchsenriedl” and then further down to the alpine hut “Malga Pozzo/Putzalm”. Continue on the trail until “Forcella Serla/Sarlsattel”. From there, turn right down until the guide marker showing the mountain “Monte Lungo/Lungkofel”. This magnificent panoramic snowshoe hike leads across the picturesque alpine area of the Frin meadows and offers breathtaking views of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar. Along the way, you’ll enjoy fascinating panoramic views of the vast snow-covered meadows and the surrounding Dolomite peaks. On the plateau, you'll find numerous "Schupfen," traditional private alpine huts. These give the area a unique, charming, and authentic character. The Frin meadows are a special place where you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.
