The hike to the Hofstattalm in Antholz starts at the Walderhöfe farms in Niedertal. From there, follow trail 31A, which leads you to the alpine hut in about 30 minutes. This short but varied route involves an elevation gain of approximately 250 meters. The path winds through dense forests and offers beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. The Hofstattalm is a popular destination for families and hikers seeking a short but rewarding hike. Once at the top, you can enjoy refreshments at the hut and take in the stunning mountain scenery.

From Antholz Mittertal (Nösslerhof) > foresty road > Agstalm > Ausserwegeralm > Pichleralm (no rest stops). Descend to Antholz Obertal or to Antholz Mittertal on the same path.
From Antholz Niedertal (towards the fishpond or starting from Walderhöfe) follow the mark n. 31b > Hofstatt Alm.
Park your car on the top of the Staller Saddle (2.050 m) > path n. 113 > Lake Obersee > Hinterpasslerhütte.

From Niederrasen (church) > from 500 m in direction > Oberstall (mark n. 20) > on the edge of the woods turn right > ruins of Altrasen.
This scenic circular hike begins at the Bad Bergfall guesthouse. Follow trail no. 3 to reach the Trattes inn. For the return, take trails no. 4A and then no. 4 back to the starting point.
A highlight along the route is the Oberegger Alm, located directly on trail no. 4A – a perfect place to stop and enjoy local specialties in the heart of nature.
From Antholz Obertal > Müllerhof (Antholz Obertal) > at the "Müllerkreuzl" (cross) path n. 9 starts on the right side > crossing the river "Plötzlbach" > military path on the Grüblalm hut (2.038 m - not managed ad rest stop) > eventually continue to the Grüblscharte.

Lake Antholz (1,650 m) > Almensteig (cabin trail) > Steinzger cabin (1,894 m) > trail no. 7 B > Obere Steinzger Alm (2,076 m; not managed) > trail no. 7a > at the highest point (2,260 m) amazing view of both lakes and the surrounding mountain scenery > Staller Saddle / Obersee (2,050 m) > trail no. 11 back to Lake Antholz.

Tipp: Climb to the Grente cross 2.250 m. Here you can descend on the path n. 6b to the Ochsenalm. Or from the Grentealm > path n. 6a > Kumplalm.
Legends and stories about the Sextner Tal valley and the Alta Pusteria/Hochpustertal valley have been told and passed on here for years. Now these many fairytales and stories have been used to create a Fable Trail (Fabelweg) in Sesto. Figures depicting characters from all kinds of legends have been set up along the route, giving visitors an insight into a different world.

From Restaurant Mudler: mark n. 31 > Mudler See (pond) > mark n. 5 (possibility of a shortcut marking no. 5C) > Hochrautalm hut.
Tip: Very rewarding the climb to the Lutterkopf as well (2,145 m).

Starting from Bad Bergfall, the well-marked trail no. 3 leads steadily uphill to the Furkel Pass at around 1,750 metres above sea level. The hike takes about 2 to 2.5 hours and is challenging but rewarding, with scenic natural sections and stunning views. Once at the top, hikers can continue on towards Kronplatz or Piz da Peres.
From Antholz Niedertal (Bad Salomonsbrunn) > Walderhöfe > mark n. 31b or the forest road to the Hofstattalm (rest station) > Langeggalm (not open) > the path continues to the Durakopf peek.
From Niederrasen (church) > path n. 21 (steep) > Obergoste > Feichter und Breitwiesenhof > Kirmlehof (approx. 10 min. further above Berggasthaus Mudler) > descend on mark n. 20 > path Imberg > Oberstallerhöfe > Niederrasen or Oberrasen.
From the barbecue area Oberrasen > follow the mark n. 4B: first along the new built trail and then as soon as it meets the forest road always continue on it to the Laner Alm hut (hut not managed)
From the car park of the game animal enclosure above Stelvio/Stilfs, via an easy hiking trail to the Prader Alm Alpine pasture and to the Furkelhütte hut.
Starting from Bad Bergfall, trail no. 32 leads steadily uphill to the saddle. After about 2.5 hours, you reach the Dreifingerscharte (2,320 m), a distinctive mountain notch with impressive views. The ascent to Piz da Peres (2,507 m) continues along a narrow ridge and requires sure-footedness and stamina. Overall, this is a demanding mountain tour with rewarding panoramic views of the Dolomites and the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park.
The Dolomites High Trail no. 5, also known as the Tiziano High Trail, is a challenge for experienced mountaineers with stamina and climbing skills.
The trail starts in Sesto, in the Three Peaks Dolomites region in Alta Pusteria, and ends in Pieve di Cadore.
The route runs for about 90 kilometres, divided into 7 stages and can be divided into three different parts corresponding to the Dolomite groups crossed: first part, Croda dei Tòni and Popèra; second part, Marmaròle; third part, the Antelao.
Most of the huts are open from the beginning of July to the end of September.
It is advisable to book your accommodation well in advance.
