Starting from the idyllic sanctuary of Maria Weißenstein, this leisurely snowshoe hike takes you into the pristine winter landscape of the South Tyrolean Dolomites. The route initially leads through quiet, snow-covered high forests, whose mighty spruces and larches are cloaked in a white mantle. As you take deep breaths of the clear mountain air, all you can hear is the gentle crunching of snowshoes underfoot.

This winter hike leads from Welschnofen | Nova Levante towards the traditional Schiller Hof hut. The trail starts in the village center and gradually ascends through snowy meadows and forests. Along the way, you can enjoy views of the impressive mountain landscapes of the Dolomites, including the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar.

The Bonner hut (closed in winter), which is located at 2,340 m above the sea level, offers a view of the snow-covered Dolomite peaks. Among them also the famous Three Peaks.

Easy and interesting walk with many views from Tisens/Tesimo and Prissian/Prissiano. Suitable for push chairs, section illuminated at night.

This winter hike follows the "Herrensteig" from Welschnofen | Nova Levante to Lake Carezza (Karer See | Lago di Carezza), considered one of the most magnificent alpine lakes. The lake, located at the foot of the Latemar and known for its deep green waters and the beautiful mountain backdrop, is frozen in winter and usually covered with a white blanket of snow.

From Welschnofen | Nova Levante, the path ascends with a steady, gentle incline up to Lake Carezza. Along the "Herrensteig", you are treated to beautiful views of the picturesque village of Welschnofen | Nova Levante. Upon reaching the lake, a breathtaking panorama opens up with views of the impressive mountain ranges of the Rosengarten | Catinaccio and Latemar.

From San Felice/St. Felix via the Lake of San Felice/St. Felix to the 1865 m high Macaion/Gantkofel, a first-class viewpoint.

Attention: the path is not cleared in winter and can be icy or covered with deep snow. Always make sure you have good shoes and appropriate equipment!

This relaxing winter hike starts at the parking place of Spëscia. During this hike you can enjoy the fresh air of the forest up to the Hospice Santa Croce, from where you can enjoy a breathtaking view of the peaks of the Dolomites.

The snowshoe tour leads to Monte Piano, which is located in the Drei Zinnen/Tre Cime nature park.
During the First World War Austrians and Italians fought against each other at Monte Piano (2324 m). The North summit was occupied by the Austrians, the Southern main summit by the Italians.

Cozy stops at the Oberholz hut and the Epircher Laner Alm invite you to rest and warm up with local specialties. Starting point of the snowshoe hiking tour is the funicular railway to Resciesa, ascend with the funicular railway (for a fee); tour along Rasciesa in direction to Brogles and Geisler Alm; afterwards it is recommended to do a toboggan ride (toboggan rental at Geisler Alm) until Ranui

The easy snowshoe hike to the hut Baumgartner (closed) is particularly suitable for beginners as it is fairly short and not steep.

The snowshoe hike to the primeval settlement of Enzbirch leads through an idyllic winter landscape characterized by dense forests and vast snowfields. Enzbirch itself, an overgrown hilltop, bears witness to the historical importance of the region. The remains of an old rampart castle can be found here. Once here, a breathtaking panorama opens up with a view of the Adige Valley.

Offering panoramic views of the way at an intermediate level above the Grubberg of St. Moritz leads slightly downhill to the valley station 2-seater chairlift and conifer woods to Steinrast. The ascent over Breiteben to St. Moritz opens a wonderful view to the Hohen Dieb and Peilstein.

From Antholz Niedertal > path n. 15 to the Dörfl > Nösslerhof > Berghotel Johanneshof > and back on the main road to the starting point.
