The church Saint Martin in Fundres/Pfunders is mentioned for the first time in th year 1397. The contemporary church was built in 1808 - 1810 and contains a bell tower with an imperial roof from the 14th century. The barrel vault is decorated with ancient frescos. Generally speaking a very nice, little church.
The Church of Saints Gotthard and Erardo was built in the 13th century by the Voitsperg next to the ancient preposition and restored in the 14th century. Rebuilt in baroque form by auxiliary bishop Wilhelm von Vintler and consecrated in 1695. Since 1971 it has been used as an evangelical worship.
The Tennis Club is situated in the north of the city of Bressanone near the parking Priel, in via Brennero n. 8; is therefore easily accessible by car or on foot, by bike or using public transportation. The club has 8 clay courts, 4 of them are equipped with artificial lighting. During the winter months, two balloons are set up which allow to play on 4 courses. The green areas that surround the club area, give the viewer a sense of well-being. Even kids can play carefree there. The center court has a whistle.
The first chuch building, which was mentioned in 1180, didn't survive, but its Gothic elements were integrated in the current construction. Startin from 1431 the church was several times restored and consercrated again. The original choir, the ogive topped main entrance on the west side (with the original mason's mark) and the bell tower were preserved from the old building.

On the "Europa-Besinnungsweg" you reach the little church St. Cyrill, which was first mentioned in a document in 1238. In the 17th century it became a baroque church, but some medieval frescos are still preserved. These include representations of St. Christopher, St. Oswald, St. Mary MagdaleneMary with the child, St. Lawrence and St. Cyril of Thessaloniki.
The little church of St. Nikolaus in the hamlet of Klerant (850m) dates from the early 15th century and impresses with its rich late gothic frescoes. Besides the depiction of the legends of St. Nicholas, the cycle of the Passion of Christ has been well preserved. The careful decoration of the Salvation Mirror comes from the Brixen school of painting of Master Leonhard (around 1470).

The ice rink of Bressanone is a meeting point for fans of skating of all ages, but also home to the Brixen workout for several associations, such as HC Falcons (ice hockey) and WSV Brixen (figure skating and curling). Even the national team ice hockey, the Russian team HC Vityaz and athletes of Team THE Schwenningen Wild Wings (Germany) have already been trained in the ice rink of Bressanone. Several teams of Austria and Germany in view of their respective national championships regularly organize their training camps autumn in Bressanone.
The pilgrimage church Maria am Sand, with its picture of the Virgin Mary possessing miraculous powers who gives the Christ baby a pear, is the old parish church of Milland and goes back to the 14th century. Around the middle of the 15th century, the church was extended with a vault in the nave, a tower as well as a pointed arch-portal and it was changed into Baroque style in the 18th century.
Natz is the original seat of the ancient Natz parish from the Carolingian period. The curch was built in 1208 in the late Gothic style, commissioned by the Prince-Archbishop Konrad and consecrated in honor of St. Philip and St. Walburga. The tower was built from 1,400 granite blocks. The wooden sculptures that decorate the neo-Gothic main altar date back to 1470 and were influenced by the famous Artist Michael Pacher.
For hiking enthusiasts, the Rio Pusteria holiday region conjures up images of lush green meadows, high mountains lapped by fragrant forests, and paths meandering between rock faces and streams. A choice of 37 huts where you can stop to enjoy the specialities of South Tyrolean cuisine, as well as the view of over 500 mountain peaks. From flat paths that can also be walked with families and kids, to summit climbs and multi-day hiking trails.
Take a walk on the nature trail around the Raiermoos biotope, where you can hear the songs of rare bird types and spot a variety of wildlife. The Raiermoos habitat was originally a large lake that was formed about 12,000 years ago on clayey moraines. Here, primeval populations settled on stilt houses.
Today, the Raiermoos is a biotope and habitat for endangered flora and fauna. Reeds, cattails, rushes, and marsh trefoil surround the lake. It offers a sanctuary to frogs, newts, salamanders, and snakes. Many migratory birds
such as herons and storks find here a safe and peaceful place to stay.
Other nature habitats in the Natz-Schabs holiday region include Sommersürs, Zussis and Laugen.
