By day a delicious coffee, in the evening an original wine bar with wide selection of wines and fine varieties of rum and cigars: La Habana is a meeting place for connoisseurs and gourmets, in the heart of Bressanone.

The Huberhof farm lies above the Brixen valley basin in the idyllic hamlet of Elvas. The farm family has converted their 18th century cellar into an inviting inn, where guests can enjoy the best of the Eisack valley’s culinary fare. The farm also takes Farm Holiday guests. Open from the end of September to the beginning of December. Monday and Thursday open from 12 noon until 5pm. Fridays from 15.00, Saturday and Sunday from 12.00. Tuesdays and Wednesdays only to prior order. Open from midday from beginning of April to mid-May on Saturdayzs and Sundays. During the remainder of the year reservations for groups of min. 15 persons are taken.

Almatosa Pastry Shop, handcrafted sweets made with natural ingredients. In November 2008 we opened our coffee shop. In 2011 we expanded the café and simultaneously opened our pastry shop. Now we have created a great team of pastry chefs who conjure up delicious cakes and fresh pastries every day. In our bar / restaurant you can spend a pleasant time with your friends. Our chef surprises its guests with Tyrolean specialties, Italian cuisine and a salad buffet. On Sundays we offer our guests a special menu.

An alp with traditional kitchen, a sunny and calm position and a perfect stop for biker and walker. Open from mid June to mid September.

On the sunny slopes above the Valle Isarco in Velturno is found the Garlider Estate Winery. Christian Kerschbaumer follows a very particular philosophy here having to do with maintaining the characteristics of the grapevine and soil in the wine. Organic cultivation is one puzzle piece of this philosophy.

But sustainability is not the only topic which, in the eyes of Kerschbaumer, speaks for organic growing. The effects upon the wine are also smaller with this type of cultivation than with the conventional. In the winery, the Valle Isarco winegrower also uses primarily indigenous yeasts – another tile in the mosaic of an unadulterated wine.

And incidentally, “wine” at the Garlider Estate Winery stands for white wine. First and foremost, but not exclusively. On a small plot, the only Pinot Noir in the Isarco Valley is grown, with the large remainder of the vineyards bringing forth five white varieties. “In the Valle Isarco, the white wines find hard but very good conditions that substantially shape their character,” Kerschbaumer says with conviction.

These conditions include warm days, fresh, cool nights, good aeration, and soils that consist of a mixture of quartz phyllite. “All of this together gives the whites their fruity, subtle aromas, sleek elegance, and individual, dry tanginess,” explains the head of the Garlider Estate Winery in Velturno.

So it is no wonder that the Garlider wines are making headlines. For English wine critic Stuart Pigott, Kerschbaumer is one of the ascending stars in the Valle Isarco. He writes, “Above all, his white wines are in a special class.”

About 500 labels - good wines from the Eisack Valley, South Tyrol, Italy and the entire world are stored on the shelves and decorate the wine bar. To match your preferred wine, Christoph Mayr and his entire team spoil your palate with refined, seasonal, regional and trendy dishes. All wines are available for purchase in the Wine Shop as a present or to enjoy at home.

Right at the top station of the Plose cable car you find the Bergrestaurant Kreuztal. It is the ideal start for your trails and, at the same time, the perfect place to relax and enjoy the extraordinary panoramic view. Big childrens' play ground.

Alte Schmiede: This is the name of our café with ice cream parlour in Rio di Pusteria, twice awarded for the number two raspberry and chocolate ice cream in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Not only appreciated by guests, but also by many locals, who gladly spend their afternoons on the terrace and in the winter garden in front of an inviting cup of ice cream, a slice of homemade pie or a coffee. Children are always happy to be here: in addition to fresh delicacies, they have a large playground, where they can play to their heart’s content. That way, parents can sit back and truly relax.

Traditional milk cattle alp, Tirol specialities, home-baked cheese and milk products, travelling aim ideally for families. Edelrauthütte at the Eisbruggjoch between the Pfunderer and Lappacher valley. Romantic starting point to the highest peaks of the Zillertaler Alps and earthy rest station on isolated height ways. Throughout warm kitchen. Open from the beginnings of June to the beginnings of October. You can reach the Edelrauthütte in 3,5 hours from the parking Dun.

We delight our guests with our delicious dishes inspired from the traditional South Tyrolean cuisine with Mediterranean influence, consisting mainly of our high quality agricultural products. You can fish yourself trout and rainbow trout in our natural pond. The meat and the milk from our cows, calves and sheep that spend the whole summer on the mountain pasture, is healthy and very tasty. Fresh salads and all kind of vegetables and fruit come directly from our garden. The remaining milk is processed within our farm to tasty cheese specialities.

Treat yourself to all kinds of delicious farm culinary fare in a cosy farmhouse parlour after a good long walk. The Unteraichnerhof in the little village of Barbian is just the place for this, situated in a particularly suitable part of the Eisack river valley for walkers. Don’t miss the home made mulberry juice – a rare treat. Advance orders required.
