From Staben we follow the beautiful Schnalser Waalweg below Schluss Juval via Tschars to Kastelbell Castle. This path leads along the longest and most important watercourse in the Venosta Valley. Built in 1872/73, the irrigation canal with its strong water flow is still used today to irrigate many cultivated areas in the valley. We stop off at an inn in the middle of the vineyards above Kastelbell and then return to Staben. Walking time: approx. 4 hours Altitude difference: 150 m Difficulty: easy

Belinda Kazeem-Kamiński's Aerolectics investigates, through an unprecedented series of works, the origins and spread on the African continent of the European Catholic missionary system and its relationship with the contemporary world. The artist explores the intertwining of history and the present, looking at the removals in collective memory in particular in relation to the African context. With a multimedia and immersive journey, made up of voids and solids, voices and silences, in which objects, narratives, sounds and images follow one another, Kazeem-Kamiński traces and investigates the experience of blackness in Europe, as perceived by the white gaze. With an autoethnographic approach and adopting a polyphonic and multimedia narrative, Kazeem-Kamiński also looks at the role played by the missionary system in South Tyrol in relation to stories of the African diaspora.

E-Bike Tour – Freiberg - Merano Our Freiberg Tour begins in Algund. From there we ride along the signposted cycle track into Merano. In the spa town we ride along various side streets in the old town and soon reach the cycle track that leads into the Passeier Valley. At Lazag we leave the cycle track and reach the lovely Merano district of Obermais, from where we cycle in the direction of St. Georgen as far as Goyen Castle. Next we cross the Naif Valley and reach the Freiberg, where a fabulous view of Merano awaits us. We then cycle along Panoramastrasse to the Rauthof wine tavern, where we take a well-deserved break. The return journey is via a lovely route back down into Merano and then on to Algund. Participation at own risk. Difference in altitude: 650 metres

Our fruit farmer will accompany you and tell you everything you need to know about this diverse fruit. As a culinary conclusion, you can expect a tasting of delicious apples and apple juice. The sensation of cold water, walking barefoot on various surfaces, breathing and mindfulness exercises are just a few elements you will experience on this journey through the teachings of Kneipp. Together with Christine, a Kneipp and mindfulness trainer, the hike begins at the Algund Tourism Association with a cold arm bath. Afterwards, she will lead you to the "Grabbach-rivulet" where your feet will come in touch with the ice-cold water. Targeted exercises stimulate circulation and promote blood flow. Then, you will continue barefoot to the Blumenthalerhof, where you will once again come into contact with ice-cold water in a large Kneipp basin. Maria, the host, will surprise you with a healthy herbal lemonade and a snack made from fresh herbs. A day for you and your well-being awaits, and you will notice that the interplay between nature and water has an immensely soothing effect on the body.

Every Tuesday, bike guide Markus takes us from Hafling on an e-bike over the Tschögglberg. On forest and woodland paths, we first ride via the Moschwald Alm and Maiser Alm up to the E5. The route is a little bumpy here and, with a little patience and the right technique, leads up to the Kreuzjöchl. From where we have a breathtaking panoramic view of South Tyrol's mountains. Along the way, there are always tips and hints for mountain biking in the terrain. Nice photo stops are also planned. Easy to moderately difficult e-mountain bike tour. Guided tour of the Niederlana parish church with the Schnatterpeck altar. A first church was built on this site in the early Middle Ages on Roman foundations. On the llama experience day we want to inspire you all around. First of all, you will look behind the scenes of our llama breeding, get to know our 24-headed llama and alpaca rascals and experience "up close" how our llama kids grow up. We will answer all your questions about husbandry, feeding, care, rearing, training and wool processing and turn you into little llama and alpaca experts. When you are really familiar with the topic, we will start on a leisurely llama and alpaca tour. Halfway through the tour we will take a short break and enjoy the wonderful mountain panorama of the "South Tyrolean Andes". A great backdrop to take souvenir photos with your llama or alpaca. Afterwards we hike back to the farm in a relaxed way. There, a skill course awaits you, which you will master with your animal hiking partner. The parish of St. Peter west of Dorf Tirol is home to one of the oldest baptismal churches in the area. After a short introductory film, you can explore the entire cooperative in the company of our apple expert Franz and follow the storage, sorting, packaging and shipping of the South Tyrolean apple. Our apple expert will let you in on all kinds of secrets about our apples' goodness, the varieties and how best to store them at home. To round off the tour there is a brief apple tasting session.
