The Lana Music Association invites you to a special concert evening on Saturday, 8 June 2024 at 8.30 pm, framed by the picturesque backdrop of the time-honoured walls of Braunsberg Castle. Harmonious melodic pieces adorn the surroundings, which in combination with the atmosphere of the castle provide a musically unique experience. The castle concert will be postponed in case of bad weather.

Join our local village enthusiast Johanna for an especially lantern walk along the beautiful Marlinger Waalweg Trail and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere as darkness envelops the landscape and the lanterns light the way. On this special hike you will learn historical, current and legendary facts about Marling. The route takes you on a relaxed stroll through the village and along the historic Waalweg Trail. After the evening round, you’ll be welcomed at the Marling church square with sweet pastries, a glass of Marling wine, or a refreshing South Tyrolean apple juice, the perfect way to conclude a unforgettable evening. From Staben we follow the beautiful Schnalser Waalweg below Schluss Juval via Tschars to Kastelbell Castle. This path leads along the longest and most important watercourse in the Venosta Valley. Built in 1872/73, the irrigation canal with its strong water flow is still used today to irrigate many cultivated areas in the valley. Approach to Walten/Valtina as far as the parking space in Wans/Vannes. Ascent through the Wansertal Valley to the Wanser Joch and on to the summit. The tour through the open-air area leads past historic log buildings such as the grain mill, the granary, the baking oven and the farmhouse, as well as the loden fulling mill, the apiary and the bowling alley. The guided tour takes one hour and starts at the museum entrance. The guided tour is only available in German.

Julian from the Wurzer Alm in Hafling has the right spin and is happy to share his knowledge with you. Together you will prepare South Tyrolean dumplings in the traditional way. The location offers a special ambience: the Wurzer Alm, which is nestled between forest and meadows at 1,707 metres above sea level. The prepared dishes are then tasted.

Traditional Bread Baking at the Tholer Farm The South Tyrolean kitchen is characterised by well-preserved old traditions. Elisabeth and Ernst of the Tholer farm let you sneak a peek behind the curtains and reveal to you their recipe for the traditional Paarl bread. Together you prepare the rye dough, form the bread and bake it in the old stone stove. You learn interesting facts about the rye cultivation and local baking tradition, and receive a recipe and some bread to take with you.

Students from the Meran-Passeier music school will musically stage classics of rock and pop history together with their teachers. The participating singers, guitarists, keyboard players, brass players, drummers and bass players interpret, among other things, Songs by Donna Summer, Bon Jovi, Rihanna, Karissa Ella, Olivia Rodrigo und Amy Winehous. The musical rehearsal was carried out by Stephan Karadar and Judit Pixner (vocals), Ingo Ramoser, Gernot Hofer, Christian Wicker and Fabio Bertagnolli (keyboard & piano), Christian Kofler (e-guitars), Dominik Told (e-bass), Hans Tutzer (brass), Hannes Reiterer, Max Calanducci and Daniel Unterhofer (drums).
