From 10:00 a.m. to approx. 2:00 p.m., around 15 exhibitors will showcase their handmade products – diverse, lovingly crafted with creativity, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Music:
The musical entertainment will be provided by the "Marlinger Böhmische" and another music group, playing from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. to ensure a lively atmosphere.
Culinary Delights:
The Marling Goaßlschnöller will treat you to warm dishes starting from 10:30 a.m. – drinks will be available from 10:00 a.m.
Throughout the day, you can enjoy impressive whip-cracking performances, and you’ll also get a fascinating look at how a traditional "Goaßl" is handcrafted.
The event will take place in almost all weather conditions – only in case of continuous heavy rain will it be cancelled.

Festival at Verdins:
Visitors to this festival can enjoy folk music and South Tyrolean specialities. It’s a date that locals and guests mark red in their diaries.
A hiking adventure to discover South Tyrol's mountains and get to know this unique, enchanting, panoramic world better.
Registration required in the tourist information office by 5 pm on the previous day. Limited number of participants.
We start at the Enzianalm in the rear Martell Valley and hike on a moderately steep path along a babbling brook. After a short hike, we reach the Pederstieralm (not open to the public) and from there continue on a gentle ascent to the Pederköpfl. During a short break, we enjoy the wonderful view of the Martell glacier on the opposite side. We then descend to the Lifyalm. After a refreshment stop, we continue downhill to Gasthof Zufritt at the Martell reservoir.
Elevation gain: approx. 550 m

St.Martin in Passeier/San Martino in Passiria, Meran/Merano and environs
Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

The Bindelweg Path is one of the most beautiful high-altitude trails in the Dolomites. It leads from the Pordoi Pass to Lake Fedaia at the foot of the Marmolada.

In September, Last Summer Glow invites you to an atmospheric evening that celebrates the end of summer in a unique atmosphere. Under twinkling fairy lights and warm candlelight, surrounded by natural decorations, cocktails, selected red and white wines and fresh juices are served. Small culinary highlights round off the experience for guests. An evening full of relaxation and enjoyment that celebrates the gentle transition from summer to autumn in a stylish and harmonious way.

The mood is festive at the autumn Schützen fair! Traditional costumes are accompanied by lively music and culinary specialities. During the festive procession, holidaymakers and locals can admire the autumnally decorated floats, traditional folk groups and music bands as they parade through the streets of the village.
The Day of the Choirs will take place at the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle throughout the course of the entire day, sending the sound of local choral music ringing out over the Asian bamboo, North American forests and exotic Mediterranean landscapes.
Admission is free – take the opportunity to enjoy the music in a relaxed atmosphere. The event is organized by the Merano Tourist Office and provides a wonderful way to enrich your day culturally. We look forward to your attendance!
The return of the herds from summer pastures in the Tel high mountain valley is appropriately celebrated at the Nasereit Alpine shelter, in accordance with the old farming tradition.
A hiking adventure to discover South Tyrol's mountains and get to know this unique, enchanting, panoramic world better.

We start at the Rappenhöfe farms in Kalmtal and hike steeply uphill through the forest, later across alpine meadows to the rustic Faglsalm. Here we stop for refreshments and then hike uphill again to the beautifully situated Faglssee lake, surrounded by alpine pastures and mountains. We have reached the highest point here and now hike along the high trail towards the inner valley. At the end of the valley, we then descend slightly to the Valser Alm. We return comfortably to the starting point via a beautiful forest path.

Excursion with the forest rangers of the Stelvio National Park in Val d'Ultimo.
Starting from the end of September, with the return of autumn, the roar of the red deer echoes through the forests of the Stelvio National Park. Well covered from the evening cold and with a bit of luck, you will not only hear the animals but also have the chance to observe them.

• You need: Outdoor clothing, headlamp, backpack (with spare clothes, rain jacket, snacks and drinks), hiking boots, headlamp is recommended

• Free transport by shuttle bus from S. Valburga in Val d’Ultimo to the starting point and back. Departure at 5:30 AM from S. Valburga (Tourist Office). The shuttle will make the same stops as the public transport service. When booking, please indicate your chosen stop.

From Obereggen we take the Oberholz lift to the top and then hike over the Gamsstallscharte to the Latemar Hut. In the afternoon we take the lift back to Obereggen. Return journey by bus (stop for refreshments en route).

Moos in Passeier/Moso in Passiria, Meran/Merano and environs
Approach from Stuls/Stulles to the Rafeinhof farm. Follow the original trail called "Jaufenkamm" no. 16 through the forest and across mountain meadows to the summit with ist panoramic views of the Ötztal, Stubai, Sarntal und Zillertal Alps. The descent follows the same path.
Walking time: approx. 6 h (there & back) | Difference in altitude: 900 m
The hike will be in German and Italian.
The horseracing weekend also comprises other competitions of international importance, such as the Price of Nations (which is linked to the Crystal Cup) on September 27th, whilst the main event, the 86th Meran South Tyrol Grand Prix will be held on September 28th.
Meran’s Racecourse will offer a richly diverse culinary programme, including a tasty preview of the Merano WineFestival.
