This exciting and eventful event at the Runster Mill, on the Sonnenberg mountain Naturns, fascinates young and old! Accompanied by a guide, you hike slightly uphill to the Runster mill in approx. 30 minutes. Exciting stories and legends about Naturns are told along the way. Franz Fliri and Walter Müller from the Naturns/Plaus local history association will be waiting for you at the mill. Franz will tell you about the Runster Mill and its history. If you like, you can also take some of the freshly ground flour home with you and bake your own bread rolls. Suitable for families with children aged 7 and over, in case of rain the event will be canceled. The tour is only in german language!

Juval Castle Tour (39 km, 700 m elevation gain) The impressive Juval Castle Tour stretches over 39 kilometers and 700 meters of elevation gain, offering not only physical activity but also cultural and culinary highlights. The starting point is Algund. An experienced bike guide first leads us through a panoramic landscape to Töll. The route then continues along the Apple Road through blossoming orchards to Naturns and further towards Staben. Already during the ride, we enjoy a magnificent view up to the Juval Caslte, the famous castle of Reinhold Messner, which today houses a fascinating collection of Tibetan art and mountaineering history. We follow the bike path until the resting place (just before Staben) and then turn right at the wooden bridge towards the State Road and the Vinschgau Farmers' Store. After crossing the State Road, we need to pedal a bit more. However, with some stamina, we finally reach The Juval Castle, our destination for the day. Here, we will visit the castle and then take a delightful lunch break at a nearby inn. Rejuvenated, we begin the return journey to the starting point, Algund. The varied landscape and cultural attractions make this bike tour an unforgettable experience for nature enthusiasts who wish to actively explore the beauty of South Tyrol. This tour is ideal for experienced cyclists with a good basic level of fitness.

Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. Did you know that many local plants are not only healthy, but also incredibly versatile? On the herb hike in Walten/Valtina, you will immerse yourself in the fascinating world of medicinal and wild plants. Herbalist Rosi will show you how the little treasures of nature can strengthen your health and promote your well-being. Which plant helps with minor ailments? Which leaves and flowers are perfect in the kitchen and conjure up delicious dishes? Together we will collect "wild herbs" and later transform them into delicious wild herb dishes with chef Siegi. By the end of the hike, you will not only have discovered the diversity of herbs, but also their practical applications for your life. Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

Experience the magic of dusk on the Hochmuth! Take the cable car to the mountain station, where a welcome aperitif awaits. The next highlight is on the terrace of the Hochmuth inn: a concert by the "Dorf Tiroler Jagdhornbläser". Finally, your hiking guide will take you along the night-time forest track back into the valley.

The percussion students from the Meran Music School invite you to a special concert evening under the direction of their teachers Max Calanducci and Hannes Reiterer. They present virtuosic solo pieces as well as percussive sounds in an ensemble. Be it on the drum, the drum set, the bar games or the percussions - almost the entire range of percussion will be heard. In the event of bad weather, the concert will take place in the Raiffeisensaal of the KIMM in Untermais.

Together with mountain guide Robert, you will explore various paths and climbs that will lead you safely to the summit. Once you reach the top, you will be rewarded with a magnificent 360-degree panorama and a tasty snack that will quickly make you forget all your exertions. Pack your rucksack, lace up your hiking boots and set off on your adventure over hill and dale. Did you know that the remote mountain pastures of South Tyrol are not only places of nature, but also have a rich history to tell? Join us on this Alpine pasture hike that takes you back in time. Your path will first lead you to the Gothic log cabin of the old St. Anna Pfistradalm Alp, one of the oldest wooden buildings in South Tyrol. It once belonged to the Counts Fuchs von Fuchsberg, who left their mark here. However, when they went bankrupt in the 18th century, the chalet was auctioned off and later passed to the municipality of Latsch. A small showroom tells you about the hard but fulfilling life on the mountain pasture and about living in the Middle Ages. After exploring the history, you can enjoy a rustic lunch with traditional specialities in the mountain hut. Strengthened, we make our way back. First mentioned in documents in the late 13th century as ‘ze Ursinie’ and in 1350 as ‘von der Sini’, Sinigo/Sinich only grew to its current size in the course of the fascist settlement policy of the 1920s. The former marshland had to be drained by the ONC, the Opera Nazionale Combattenti, before it could build the Montecatini fertiliser factory and new farmhouses on stilts.

On Saturday, May 31st the “Beckenfest” will take place again at Senn am Egg! At lunchtime and in the evening, you can look forward to delicious food from the wood-fired grill as well as coffee and cake. Varied musical entertainment will be provided from midday until the evening. The proceeds from the festival will be donated to a good cause in Marling. The festival takes place in all weathers.
