Experience a unique musical adventure with Bozen Brass! This ensemble can't be put into a single box – their repertoire ranges from festive Baroque to virtuosic Classical and dramatic Opera, all the way to Jazz, Pop, and Rock. Along the way, they also bring Chansons, Country, Oberkrainer, and Alpine folk music to life with great skill. For even more drive, Robert Neumair adds rhythm on drums or with a solo on the Steirische (diatonic accordion). All pieces are specially arranged by him for Bozen Brass, offering a truly unique musical variety! The six musicians – Anton Ludwig Wilhalm (trumpet), Manuel Goller (trumpet), Benjamin Premstaller (horn), Martin Psaier (trombone), Michael Engl (tuba), and Robert Neumair (various instruments & arrangements) – bring their love for music to the stage, creating a captivating experience.

This cooking course is all about local wild herbs. Herbs and wild herbs are collected in the garden, which are then processed into a delicious lunch together with herbalist Rosi Mangger Walder. The event will be in German and Italian.

We start at the parking lot by the 'old sawmill' and hike steadily upwards to the Freiberger Alm and further to the Latschiniger Alm, with a beautiful view of the Texel Group. After a break, the path descends slightly along the mountain path to the Marzoner Alm. From here, we take a short route back to the parking lot. Our events is entirely dedicated to the Tyrolean sounds of our local music bands. In addition, visitors can also expect performances by our local Bavarian folk dance and folk dance groups on some evenings.

Schenna market is full of festival feeling. Like in the olden days, the market is more than just a place to sell or buy wares – it’s a place to meet people and stop for a chat! Eat, drink and chat to your heart’s content! Merchants and artisans present their products, Schenna farmers proffer their home-made wares, and restaurants serve South Tyrolean specialities.

From Ortisei we take the funicular to Rasciesa, from there we hike across the alpine pastures and the Adolf Munkel path at the foot of the Geißlerspitzen to the Gschnagenhartalm and on to Zans in the Villnöss Valley. Walking time: 4,5 hours Difference in altitude: ascent 275 m and descent 700 m

In building a small robot, you can give free rein to your creativity! Then you can challenge the other participants in a Lego arena with your robot. In addition to building the small robot, you will also learn the principle of 3D printing.

On Saturday, 23rd and Sunday, 24th August, the "Alpiniverein Marling" is holding its annual Alpini meadow festivall on the Marling fairground. Start: Saturday at 11am. "Titlá" ("feel free") was the response of an innkeeper 35 years ago when asked if playing music was allowed in his establishment. Since then, South Tyrol’s most successful folk band, Titlá, has been captivating audiences with its unique style of folk music. Drawing inspiration from Irish and Celtic melodies and sounds, the five musicians have forged their own path into traditional Tyrolean folk music. Fiddle and bagpipes, flute and tuba, as well as drums and guitar, all contribute to their unmistakable sound. Their well-crafted, self-composed songs make Titlá instantly recognizable and have brought them success and acclaim beyond the borders of South Tyrol. Their lyrics are deliberately sung in dialect, a way to rediscover and preserve their cultural heritage—both musically and linguistically. The current concert program presents a diverse mix spanning 35 years of shared musical journey.

Afterwards we take the "Hahnl" with us and here we start the descent to the "Waalerhütte" and return to the car park via the Ulfaser/Matatzer Waalweg. Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. Shop opening hours in the evenings: 8pm to 9:30pm.

Starting from the village center, the nature and landscape enthusiast Martin leads you along a trail that winds through quiet streets, passing by the Cantina Merano Winery and several other local wineries. Along the way, you’ll encounter informative panels about the history and culture of wine, as well as larger-than-life winegrowing constructions. This approximately 1, ½ -hour walk concludes with a wine tasting at a local winery in Marling or the Cantina Merano Winery in Marling. Guided by a winemaker or cellar master, you’ll enjoy a selection of local wines paired with a traditional “Marendbrettl” (South Tyrolean snack).
