Why are leaves colourful? What kinds of fruit grow at the gardens? Are things still flowering? The Autumn Day offers a varied program in the gardens: see, hear, smell, touch. Visitors of all ages can join in on an intriguing botanical experience.

LANAPHIL, the widely known stamp collectors fair has become an international event with participants from all over Europe. Along with a large selection of historical postcards, military items, banknotes, stamps and genuine historical stocks, LanaPhil also offers old shares and bonds as well as books, etchings and modern European stamps from the last 20 years. A special highlight is the personalised stamp depicting the famous gothic winged altar by Hans Schnatterpeck in the parish church of Niederlana. The collectors fair takes place in the great hall as well as the foyer of the Raiffeisenhaus Lana and is open to the public from 9 am to 2 pm.

Hike to the organic farm Niedersteinhof above St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo. There, organic farmer and farm owner Walter opens the gates of his kingdom to us. With passionate explanations of the farm philosophy and the associated concept, he takes us into the world of his agricultural work. Our hiking - guide Martin have chosen some of the most beautiful hiking - routes and will accompany you into a world of fascination and unforgettable impressions. Reservation until midday of the previous day in the tourist office of Marlengo. Detailed programme on request.

The guided excursions about the cestnut to Glaning/Afing will start every Thursday at 10 a.m. at the tourist office of San Genesio. During this excursion, you will learn many secrets about the cultivation of these precious autumn fruits admiring the colorful chestnut trees. There will be breaks with local product tastings at the "Törggelen" restaurants of San Genesio. Registration is required: within 12 noon of the previous day, by telephone or by e-mail contacting the Tourist Office S. Genesio.

From 14th October to 5th November 2024, Feldthurns celebrates its autumnal cultural fruit: the chestnut. During the 26th Chestnut Weeks there is a varied program with guided tours, hikes, tastings and much more!. Discover pleasures of the chestnut from the rural cuisine and wine cellar at the period of the traditional "Törggelen". It is requested to arrive in an environmentally friendly way. We are taking the Bus at 9.00am from the bus stop "Tires Piazza fontana" until we reach San Caterina. There we start walking. On our way we visit the Chapel of the village with it's frescoes on the outside wall. We're going to pass by several Farms until we reach the last stop Castel Prösels. From there on we take the Bus back to tires. Approx. 4-5 hours of walking.

Our Program in Tramin WineSounds on the Alto Adige Wine Road - at Ansitz of Elena Walch Winery On October 28th, we invite you to the Wine Sounds event at the Ansitz of Elena Walch Winery at 10:30 AM. The historic winery of Elena Walch will open its doors to the concert attendees. After the final notes of the woodwind quintet "LIGNUN" have faded away in the historically significant courtyard, with a view of the picturesque mountain scenery, we will take you on a journey of discovery through our wine cellars. Today, in the former Jesuit monastery, using both traditional and avant-garde techniques, Elena Walch creates her multi-award-winning wines. The charming contrast between intricately carved wooden barrels and the highly modern fermentation cellar with its architectural highlights perfectly reflects our identity and versatility. Following the concert, there will be a tasting of four selected wines in the estate's park, where you'll have the opportunity to experience it for yourself! 10 years Christmas village Ortisei The picturesque capital of the Val Gardena, has been enchanting its visitors during the Christmas season since 2014. It has become a beautiful tradition: Ortisei's pedestrian area transforms into a true fairy-tale landscape adorned with Christmas decorations that captivate visitors of all ages. Along the pedestrian zone, typical wooden huts welcome visitors. In an impressive manner, the Christmas village Ortisei combines the deeply rooted traditions of the Val Gardena with the elegance and exclusivity of the offerings of the hut operators. The festive atmosphere is accompanied by the Christmas tunes of local musicians, spreading joy and serenity in the air. Visitors can stroll through the Christmas village, admire local craftsmanship, discover regional delicacies, and find original gift items among the Christmas huts. An insider tip of the first order is the Blütenhöfefest on Sunday, 13 April 2025, in which 15 traditional farms in Lana, Völlan, St. Pankraz and Tscherms take part. Visitors will get to know historic farms and artistic residences in an enjoyable way and savour typical farm products on site. Visitors who are fit enough to walk follow well-signposted hiking trails and hike from farm to farm, while those who are more leisurely can take the free shuttle buses to the farms from 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. An overview map with a detailed programme is available from the tourist office or online at lanaregion.it The event will take place in all weathers. Please note: Not all courtyards are suitable for coaches (50-seater). Due to limited parking facilities, certain farms can only be reached by a small shuttle or on foot. Larger groups are requested to register with the farms. There are limited parking spaces for coaches in Lana, two bus parking spaces are located in Lorenzer Straße and three in Zollstraße in front of the ex-Pomus. In the event that the indicated parking spaces are already sold out, it is advisable to drop off passengers at the bus station and continue to the car park of the Exclusive discotheque in Meranerstraße Lana or to the Lana industrial area where there are additional parking spaces.
