The Gasserhof is a traditional house in St. Andrä, near Brixen. At lunchtime, the Gasserhof has its restaurant open for you between 12.00 and 13.30. For several years, chef Fabian has offered his guests moments of extreme pleasure. With his creative dishes he accompanies you on a delicious journey through traditional South Tyrolean cuisine, a real tasting experience. The team is also supported by Hermann, who is happy to share his experience and expertise with his colleagues. One “must” in the kitchen: the preservation of the true taste of the products, which must be genuine, pure, and intense. For this reason, vegetables, herbs, berries and fruit come directly from the hotel garden.

We delight our guests with our delicious dishes inspired from the traditional South Tyrolean cuisine with Mediterranean influence, consisting mainly of our high quality agricultural products. You can fish yourself trout and rainbow trout in our natural pond. The meat and the milk from our cows, calves and sheep that spend the whole summer on the mountain pasture, is healthy and very tasty. Fresh salads and all kind of vegetables and fruit come directly from our garden. The remaining milk is processed within our farm to tasty cheese specialities.

Directly at the lake lies our idyllically situated restaurant. Comfortable lounges and a charming garden terrace invite to various celebrations. We especially recommend our local specialties like dumplings, "Schlutzkrapfen" or "Tiroler Tris" as well as pasta dishes, grill or our well known Wienerschnitzel. Home made apple strudel, cakes, tiramisù as far as the eye can see let the afternoon fade in a very pleasant way.

recently opened, the Bar Thaler in the Alte Marktgasse in Brixen has already acquired a mega reputation. An absolute meeting place for everyone. Be it in the morning for coffee or in the evening for a toast with the fresh aperitif creations. There is also a large selection of different Gin&Tonic's. A hot specialty for example is our Coffee Nutè - a coffee with Nutella. With our offers of cold coffee our customers love Coffee Orange and Coffee Amaretto. 3 distinct blends to taste including dewaxed or 100% Arabica. We also have the sale of coffee. Seasonal juices like Dissetante and traditional ones like Energy. Fresh citrus juices. Of course we have aperitifs such as Rudy Spritz, Hugo, Pomegranate Spritz, Peach Melba Spritz and selected white and red wines. To eat we offer yoghurt produced in the area with Müsli and fruit, croissants that follow the customers' tastes and small dishes for the small hunger, ice cream cups and fresh cakes every day.

Local products from South Tyrol fill the pots in our kitchen and are carefully prepared for presentation on your plate. From the "common" South Tyrolean bacon dumpling with a refined herb garnish from our own garden to the tagliatelle Caprese with fresh basil and South Tyrolean mozzarella, the selection is great and the symbiosis of traditional and Mediterranean cuisine make the Eisack Valley cuisine a must for food lovers. The "Waage" bar in the south of the city is one thing above all: a meeting place for everyone. And at any time of day. Alte Schmiede: This is the name of our café with ice cream parlour in Rio di Pusteria, twice awarded for the number two raspberry and chocolate ice cream in the Trentino-Alto Adige region. Not only appreciated by guests, but also by many locals, who gladly spend their afternoons on the terrace and in the winter garden in front of an inviting cup of ice cream, a slice of homemade pie or a coffee. In our bakery and pastry shop "Fabian Profanter - my bakery" in Millan, Plose Street, renovated and expanded in 2018, you will find a wide selection of breads, pizzas, traditional pastries and cakes, which are also made to order in various shapes and sizes in our in-house bakery. In addition you will find organic products such as fruits and vegetables, cheeses and meats, dairy products, beverages and more. We also have many regional, gluten-free and lactose-free products. Artisanal ice cream made by our master can be purchased in the store or enjoyed in our "Capriccio" Bar right next to the store in Millan. A selection of all these products can also be found in our branch "Strudel House" in the old town of Brixen on Adlerbrückengasse street.

The old diocesan town of Brixen has many friends who relish coming again and again. Art lovers will enjoy interesting sights, bargain-hunters can browse around the attractive shops, wine connoisseurs can taste the delicate wines of the region and hikers will find innumerable paths for long or short walks. Should you come by train and want a pleasant place to stay, you don't have to go far - the Jarolim Hotel is situated near the station. Motorists on the other hand will find a large car park at their disposal. The rooms have a bathroom, shower, WC, telephone and a TV-set. Most attractive to our guests is the large park with a swimming pool - an oasis of peace and quiet amidst the hustle and bustle of the town. The Jarolim Hotel is the ideal starting point for walks or excursions in the near surroundings. There is a lot to see in the Eisack valley and the neighboring Puster Valley. SHORT CHRONICLE OF THE HOTEL
After the railway to the South had been built in the year 1867, the necessity for a catering facility near the station was felt. Mister Johann Jarolim bought a site from the Imperial and Royal Administration of the Railways on condition that he should build a hotel. This happened in the year 1890. The hotel was called Hotel Bahnhof (Station Hotel). 1905 it was extended and 1912 another story was built. Since that time the hotel has assumed its present-day dimensions. During World War I Brixen/Bressanone was a major training area and the Austrian officer's mess was in the hotel. These were hectic times for the hotel and it was very busy day and night. On the occasion of the visit of the Queen Helen of Italy to Brixen on July 5, 1935, the hotel was given the name of the Italian royal dynasty "Savoia". During World War II German officers were accommodated and at the end of the war the hotel was occupied by American troops. After the war the name of the hotel was changed again and it is called now the Jarolim Hotel. On occasion of the disturbances in South Tyrol in the year 1961 the hotel was occupied again. This time for 6 years by a special unit of the Italian police. Afterwards the hotel has been renovated little by little so as to get its today's class.

In our bar / restaurant you can spend a pleasant time with your friends. Our chef surprises its guests with Tyrolean specialties, Italian cuisine and a salad buffet. On Sundays we offer our guests a special menu.

In the chic Viertel Bar, travellers and locals meet for original snacks, exclusive drinks and an extensive selection of local craft beers. Viertel Bier, which is produced at the own brewery in Schabs, plays the leading role.
