    The Plantapatschhütte hut is a local restaurant at the top station of the chairlift on the adventure mountain Watles . Guests are spoiled with a varied selection of local specialities. On the sun terrace you can enjoy a drink and the warm rays of the sun. Young and old alike benefit from the excellent location on the adventure mountain next to the play lake. The Plantapatsch hut can be reached by chairlift or on foot along trail no. 3.

    The K2 Hut is located at an altitude of 2,350 m, directly at the mountain station of the Langenstein chairlift. This location offers not only breathtaking views but also the opportunity to fully enjoy the fresh mountain air. The terrace of the mountain restaurant, which stands out for its unique archi-tectural design, invites you to bask in the sun in a relaxed atmosphere – with a direct view of the impressive Ortler. The menu at the K2 Hut is diverse: daily specials, juicy steaks, and delicious fish specialties are served, delighting both gourmets and hikers. A special highlight is the homemade apple strudel, which should never be missed during a visit. The K2 Hut is accessible via hiking trails 3 and 4. Alternatively, you can also conveniently reach the hut by the Langenstein chairlift.

    In the middle of the Stelvio National Park is the Göflaner Alm Alpine Pasture at 1,826 m, directly at the Göflan marble trail. Since 2014, the pasture is managed by the Tappeiner family. It is open throughout the summer and offers many traditional dishes and homemade specialties. While hikers and bikers are enjoying delicious dishes, the cows, horses, pigs and chickens will taste the summer freshness in the mountains.

    The Höfer Alm Alpine hut is a popular destination in summer as well as in winter. On the sun terrace you can enjoy a magnificent view of the mountains of the Ötztal Alps and the Ortler Group. The Höfer Alm spoils guests with homemade food and serves South Tyrolean fare and daily specials on its small menu. Hikers will certainly get their money's worth here. Without much effort, the hut at 2,066 metres altitude is easily accessible from the Watles valley station.

    Madritsch Hut

    The Madritsch Hut is located in Solda, below the Madritsch Pass in the middle of the mountain world around King Ortles. The hut can be reached via the large Solda panoramic cable car to the mountain station at 2,610 m. The family-friendly hiking trail along the summer pasture of Reinhold Messner's yaks takes you to the Madritsch Hut (2,820 m) in around 1 hour. On the sun terrace you will be enchanted by Tyrolean specialties and the breathtaking mountain scenery. The Madritsch hut, which is typically furnished with wood, was largely rebuilt in 2017 and furnished in a modern style. The kitchen spoils you with traditional South Tyrolean & Italian dishes such as Tyrolean dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen and delicious Kaiserschmarrn. In the Yak Bar, hot chocolate or coffee awaits you and in Europe’s highest igloo, cool beer, Willi afterwards and great après-ski music await you. Enjoy the unique view of the Ortler Group from the sun terrace.

    Schliniger Alm Alpine pasture - Alp Planbell

    The Schliniger Alm is located at 1,868 m above sea level in the Sesvenna mountain group. From the village of Schlinig, you can reach the alp either on foot (even with a stroller), or by bike. In winter, the path is rolled daily, so you do not need winter equipment such as snowshoes or touring skis. It is recommended to take a toboggan for the way back. Offered is a wonderful panoramic view of the valley to the east and the mighty Schwarze Wand with the waterfall to the west. Let yourself be spoiled by the Almgasthaus cuisine and the products of the cheese dairy. The Schliniger Alm is not only a popular destination for families and athletes, but also offers one of the best alpine cheeses of the Upper Vinschgau in the alpine dairy. Opening times: End of May until beginning of November and mid-December to mid-April On reservation the Schliniger Alm is also open in the evening!

    In the Arunda valley on the Laatscheralm alpine pasture (2049 m) family Frank is looking forward to you and spoils you with simple homemade dishes. The alpine pasture can be reached by a leisurely hike of just under 2 hours along the gently ascending forest path, starting above Schleis/Clusio, or for the more agile walkers via the steeper shortcuts. (sig). The Laatscher Alm alpine pasture is also part of the 360° circular hiking trail - on the 8th stage, you head for the alp on the way to the Joch on the west side of the Monterodes mountain. By bike it is reachable in about 1.5 h. Open from mid-May to early October.

    The Matscher Alm alpine pasture is located at 2,050 m. From the Glieshof farm, take the forest path no. 2 on the right side of the valley to reach the Matscher Alm alpine pasture, which takes about 1 hour. Various tours, such as the "Vinschger Höhenweg", lead past the Matscheralm. It is one of the most popular excursion destinations and alpine dairy farms in the Upper Vinschgau. A lot of emphasis is placed on local products, and a wide view of the Matschertal valley enchants on the alpine pasture.

    The alpine hut Planeil (Furgles Alm) is located at 2,203 meters above sea level and thereby has an excellent panoramic view. Leave behind the stressful everyday life and enjoy the almost untouched nature of the Planeil valley. You are welcome to relax on our sun terrace while tasting our food made from regional products. We place big value on fresh ingredients from the region and this is why we try to produce as much as possible ourselves. From mid-June our cows are back on the pasture and that is when we start the daily production of cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. Open from the beginning of June until the end of October.
