In the rural taverns in South Tyrol you will be served by the host family in person. In the rustic parlors, home-grown products such as homemade juices, tasty hot and cold dishes, local fruit and, of course, wines are offered. A very special highlight is the annual Törggelen in the Buschenschänken: As decades ago, the farmers open their cellars for their guests to taste the wine, accompanied by typical rural dishes.

At Oberlegar farm the farmers really know how to dish up a treat. Both farmhouse parlours and the sun terrace are perfect for savouring delicious food in good company. The Schwarz family’s hospitality and a drop of the house wine complete the experience perfectly. Open from the end of March to the end of May and from September to the start of December from 6pm. High above Tramin lies the mountain inn Gummererhof (750 m above sea level). The wine farm is both the starting point for many a mountain hike into the Mendel Mountains and a popular destination for hikes and bike tours between Kaltern, Tramin and Kurtatsch.

Innerperskoler farm is located in sunny Aicha di Fiè, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut groves. The altitude of 700m above sea level favours both viniculture and cattle farming. In 2014/15 the Prieth family, the current owners, established a farmhouse inn where local South Tyroleans and tourists alike are welcome to delight in the fruits of the harvest.
Innerperskoler farm was first mentioned in 1267, more accurate records date back to 1569. In 1736, a chapel was erected in order to bless and protect the farm and the house. It was dedicated to Saint Florian, the patron saint of chimney sweeps and firefighters, yet the farm and the barn burnt down entirely in 1994. Many precious documents and other objects were lost in the flames. The former owner Hermann Vieider rebuilt house and farm completely.

Lajen-Ried is well known as the cradle of the ‘Törggele’ culture, when the season’s new wine is served up with accompanying farmhouse fare in autumn. However, guests will enjoy a stop here at any time of year. The Schenk family dishes up seasonal delicacies from the garden and wine cellar in the 17th century panelled farmhouse parlour both in winter and spring. The Luggin family has set up an interesting farm inn at St. Nikolaus near Kaltern, a local place of pilgrimage. You can reach the rustic cellar via the farm shop with its numerous farm products and enjoy South Tyrolean farm dishes with a glass of wine, fruit juice or spirits from the farm's own organic distillery. Open from mid-March to start of December from Wednesday to Saturday after 5.00 p.m. Booking recommended.
The farm "Kinig" ist located between apple trees and Meadows. Not only do we have traditional South Tyrolean home-style cooking, but also mediterranean cuisine on request. We have our own meat and milk and produce our own cheese. The apple Juice and wine is our own. You can enjoy all this in our 400-year old Lounge or in the garden under the walnut three with a fantatic wiew of Bolzano.

Our farm is situated above Signat along the chestnut trail. Our traditional farmhouse cooking offers many local filled pasta varieties, known as "Schlutzkrapfen" and filled with spinach, pumpkin, ricotta or even beetroot and horseradish. We offer numerous different varieties of traditional dumplings, such as cheese, spinach, beetroot or pumpkin, and also rustic variations such as herbal or bacon dumplings. For dessert lovers we offer traditional sweet dishes, a hearty Kaiserschmarrn or sweet pancakes.
