    Enjoyment in the South Tyrol's rural taverns

    In the rural taverns in South Tyrol you will be served by the host family in person. In the rustic parlors, home-grown products such as homemade juices, tasty hot and cold dishes, local fruit and, of course, wines are offered. A very special highlight is the annual Törggelen in the Buschenschänken: As decades ago, the farmers open their cellars for their guests to taste the wine, accompanied by typical rural dishes.

    Our traditional farmhouse inn offers you a cozy place to relax and recharge your batteries with a picturesque view of the Texel Group. It is particularly important to us to bring our farm products closer to our guests and to present them on our small menu. We bake fresh bread every week and serve it with South Tyrolean specialties such as the Marendbrettl with homemade bacon, smoked sausages and alpine cheese. Traditional warm dishes from our own gray cattle, delicious dumpling dishes and homemade cakes are also part of it. Come by and experience for yourself! In autumn "Törggelen" on request.

    We bought this breathtaking farm in 2023 and converted it into a farm tavern. The farm ‘Af Egg 35’ is an extreme farm that clings to a steep slope on the Vinschgau Sonnenberg. It is situated at 1670 metres above sea level directly on the Vinschgau High Mountain Trail. It can be easily reached from the St. Martin im Kofel cable car mountain station near Latsch in a westerly direction in approx. 45 minutes. For experienced hikers there are also very interesting hiking trails from Latsch Goldrain or Schlanders to us. Walking times between 3-4 hours. We look forward to seeing you! The Kaserer family

    The mansion called ‚Wassererhof‘ is located on the foot of the Schlern close to a nearby wellspring. The homestead dates back to the year 1366. In 1996, the father of the twins Andreas and Christoph Mock bought the run-down homestead. After a renovation, the homestead has become an amazing ensemble of buildings emitting a sense of gentleness supported by an expressive architecture. Now the Wassererhof is a winery and a ‘Buschenschank’ (a traditional seasonal farm inn) with familiar management. The two brothers cooperate, helping each other with solidarity and this is the guarantee of their success. Andreas is the cook. The traditional cuisine is his top priority: fresh, homemade and surprisingly refined. The twin Christoph is the farmer and the winemaker of the Wassererhof. For generations they have broadened their knowledge in wine culture both in the vineyards and in the winery with the objective to press a wine of outstanding quality and taste.

    Moar zu Viersch - an idyllic retreat for indulgence and coziness. The tavern in Verdings/Pardell, above Kloster Säben, invites hikers and Törggelen guests to experience South Tyrolean hospitality to the fullest. Surrounded by a breathtaking mountain panorama, countless hiking trails (including the 'Keschtnweg' or the 'Birmehlweg'), and ancient chestnut trees, Moar zu Viersch promises a special destination, especially in the autumn. In summer, the farm also serves wonderfully as an event location. Here, one can escape everyday life and fully enjoy the beauty of South Tyrolean nature. From early October to late November, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the tavern opens its historic 'Stube' and invites guests to traditional Törggelen.     In 2010, our farm tavern was opened on the farm Eggerhof in Verano. Since then, the cosy farm offers yet another attraction. In the spirit of alpine architecture, plenty of wood was used for the interiors. This natural material creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere and gives social gatherings in the evening a romantic mood. Enjoy your evenings in the farm with a glass of wine in a classic setting. Spinach dumplings, barley soup, spicy meat platters, smoked meat and homemade sausages delight the palates during Törggele time. The new wine is tasted and chestnuts are roasted – served with the traditional hard bread and sweet donuts. During Törggele time in Burgraviato you will be seduced by the delights of the South Tyrolean cuisine and enjoy the good company at the tavern on the farm Eggerhof. Closed in winter.

    Both dining rooms at Larm Hof farm have been home to lots of generations. Today it is the guests at this ancestral farmhouse that liven up these time-honoured rooms. The Winkler family invites guests to enjoy a generous farmhouse breakfast with lots of farm products as a special feature in spring.
