    Enjoyment in the South Tyrol's rural taverns

    In the rural taverns in South Tyrol you will be served by the host family in person. In the rustic parlors, home-grown products such as homemade juices, tasty hot and cold dishes, local fruit and, of course, wines are offered. A very special highlight is the annual Törggelen in the Buschenschänken: As decades ago, the farmers open their cellars for their guests to taste the wine, accompanied by typical rural dishes.

    The Gummererhof lies high above the Brixen valley basin, nestling amongst chestnut groves and vineyards. In autumn, when the days draw in and get cooler, a lot of 'törggelling' goes on in the farmhouse - that involves finishing off the day with tasty farm fare and a glass of the season's new wine. House ‘Sekt’ (sparkling wine), made from the native ‘Blatterle’ grape is a special feature of the Gummererhof farm. Open days: Open daily from mid September to mid December from 15.00. Closed on Mondays. Open from Friday to Sunday in January and February. Booking recommended.

    At Zunerhof we daily serve excellent dumplings, “Spätzle” but also Schlutzkrapfen (ravioli with spinach filling) Herrengröstel (meat dish with roasted potatoes), roasted pork knuckle (upon request) and much much more. In addition to that we also offer a fine selection of South Tyrolean wines as well as home-made juices. Wonderful specialities which will be served in one of our beautiful Stuben of the 16th century, or, as soon as the weather allows it, on our sunny terrace. Some of the many specialities you can taste at Zunerhof: •Deer gulash with porcino mushrooms •Dumpling tris with salad •“Herrngröstel” with bacon coleslaw •Home-made “Schlutzer” •Roasted pork knuckles cooked in the traditional wooden oven (upon request)

    Renovated, cozy farmhouse in the Monte Corno National Park. You can taste traditional dishes, handmade cakes and juices. Open only in spring and autumn. Monday - friday only on reservation. Open from 10th of April to 22 of May on saturday rom 10 o'clock, and from 13th of August to 20th of November on saturday and sunday from 10 o'clock.

    The "Röckhof" is situated in the sunny slopes of Villanders. 7/10 - bottling, distillery, guided tour of the farm and cellar, typical dishes such as Schlutzkrapfen, potato pasties and homemade sausages. On Saturdays and Sundays we are open from midday.

    Our chefs are challenging their art to be the most demanding palates. The menu of the restaurant is refined continuously and consists of many homemade pastas and typical products of the region Trentino-Alto Adige.

    Known by the locals as the "Greiter Hof", the Obergereuth Hof farm became "Greiter's". Complete with cocktail lounge, freshly-ground coffees, brunches and tasting couch. Life revolves around our farm products – or those of our farm neighbours. Our main production tool is the baking tray: we make traditional sheet cakes and roulades, apple shortcrust strudel and muffins, buckwheat pastry and focaccia. You name it, we make it! Imagine "Martha's nut cantuccini", accompanied by a glass of sweet wine. Or delicious ice cream with liqueur or "hot-love" drowned in our own warm farm fruit. We provide breakfast and brunch baskets, and cakes with children's portions, and "little sins" of the palate for the gourmands. Wednesdays are aperitif evenings, so get ready to be surprised!

    A smugglers‘ farm turned into a gourmet farm. On the spot where, in times gone by, dealers carted their illicit wares back and forth between Italy and Austria, the farm’s guests can now enjoy delicacies prepared according to secret recipes. 300-year-old Tendershof farm is situated at a height of 1,160 metres above sea level amidst breathtaking scenery. The Austro-Italian border runs through the farmland. This is not only a great place to be for the farm’s resident highland cattle, but Farm Holiday guests are welcome, too.     Innerperskoler farm is located in sunny Aicha di Fiè, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut groves. The altitude of 700m above sea level favours both viniculture and cattle farming. In 2014/15 the Prieth family, the current owners, established a farmhouse inn where local South Tyroleans and tourists alike are welcome to delight in the fruits of the harvest.

    The Huberhof farm lies above the Brixen valley basin in the idyllic hamlet of Elvas. The farm family has converted their 18th century cellar into an inviting inn, where guests can enjoy the best of the Eisack valley’s culinary fare. The farm also takes Farm Holiday guests. Open from the end of September to the beginning of December. Monday and Thursday open from 12 noon until 5pm. Fridays from 15.00, Saturday and Sunday from 12.00. Tuesdays and Wednesdays only to prior order. Open from midday from beginning of April to mid-May on Saturdayzs and Sundays. During the remainder of the year reservations for groups of min. 15 persons are taken.
