Beautifully situated on the Fallatschkamm ridge between the Stilfserjoch ridge and Val Müstair/Münstertal valley, the Piz Chavalatsch mountain (2,763 m) offers one of the best viewpoints in all of the Vinschgau/Val Venosta valley. The tour that leads to Piz Chavalatsch is very popular and highly recommended, as it is both one of the easiest and most beautiful: it is a rewarding mountain hike that presents no real difficulties worth mentioning. Next to the summit cross is a former Italian customs hut that now serves as a relay station for amateur radio enthusiasts in the Vinschgau valley. The trails are very gentle and there are no exposed or difficult sections. Because the described route is on the sunny side, ascending during the hottest part of the day should perhaps be avoided.

Head past the Stilfser Alm Alpine farm into the broad valley and up to Piz Sielva mountain. This tour to Piz Sielva leads you past the Stilfser Höfe farms and Untere Stilfser Alm Alpine farm. Even the journey to the starting point, which takes in a section of the Stilfserjoch pass road, is packed with attractions including colourful sculptures and artworks at the entrance to the village of Schmelz. The “Rotlahner” – an easy but famous ski mountain in the Gsieser Alps

From the parking space at the Biathlon Centre you follow the street till the Enzianhütte hut and on the snow covered street you go up to the Staller Saddle.

This tour leads from Sulden via the beautiful Zaytal valley to the Düsseldorfer Hütte mountain hut, located below a rock face at 2,721 m. Enjoy a stunning view of the Ortler’s classic three peaks from the sun terrace.

The leisurely ski tour, which is mostly oriented to the south, is located in the middle of the Fanes-Senes-Prags natural park. The summit view at 2,307 m offers a view of well-known mountain peaks in the area: Drei Zinnen, Hohe Gaisl, Tofana, Monte Cristallo.

The ski tour through the Mezdí Valley is one of the classics among the off-piste itineraries in the Dolomites. The tour runs from south to north and is characterized by a short crossing of the Sella massif with only little difference in height, and by a steep and technical descent to Colfosco, through this narrow valley in the middle of the rocks.

Ski tour to Monte Cevedale, one of the best peaks for mountain views in the Ortler region.
This tour to Monte Cevedale is one of the top 10 ski tours in the Ortler region and is extremely popular among enthusiasts. After all, it’s an easy tour that rewards visitors with breathtaking Alpine panoramas.

Demanding ski tour. Ascent Pfitscherjoch then on the Austrian side to the Stampflkees and over the steep eastern flank to the summit.

Start at Malga di Tarres and go to the Zirmruan Hut (closed). Turn right just before the hut and follow the well-marked path to the weather cross (2.436 m). Continue on the relatively flat path to Passo di Laces (2.507 m) and then southwards along the crest up to 3.000 m. Take the slightly exposed path along the crest to reach the peak where you can enjoy a fantastic panoramic view of the surrounding three-thousanders of the Ortler group.

An easy ski mountaineering tour on a groomed path, initially along a nice trail through the woods which then leads to a wonderful panoramic point: a stop is a must here to admire the charm of nature covered in a beautiful white mantle. Once you have reached your destination, from the refuge located at the foot of the splendid Pralongiá plateau, you can admire the Sassongher and the Sella Group.

The Hasenöhrl is the easternmost three-thousand metre mountain of the Ortler group with an imposing view. The crossroads to the Oberjochmoarhof farm is the starting point of the tour.
