The Cai slope presents itself as a short but very interesting slope, which is divided into two parts. The upper part leads from the Plose over to the Pfannspitz. It lies in the sun all day and is mostly very little used. The second part is something for more demanding skiers: it is the black variant 7a, the so-called "Bärenloch". This slope presents itself also to the experts as a short but very steep section.

This hiking tour starts at the parking area in the Winnebachtal valley. You will find the Witches Stone alonge the path nr. 23 (suitable to buggies) which leads to the Astnerberg Alm hut.
This very interesting stone is a bowl-stone. According to the narrations, on this stone the witches used to dance with the devil. Their foot imprints can still be seen. The hut offers a nice solar terrace with children's playground and a small animal enclosure. Accessible also with a buggy or for mountain bikers and riders.

Cozy snowshoe hike on one of the most panoramic peaks in the Pfunderer mountains. From the car park at the Schneeberg (1,550 m), walk on the woodland route nr. 5 (it is also a toboggan run in winter) up to Lower Pertinger Alm hut (1,860 m). Go straight on in a northerly direction across the path. From the treeline mainly over a low hill to the summit (Am Joch, 2,405 m).

The Pfannspitz slope is an interesting change, especially for more experienced skiers. It runs evenly and shows the impressive view of the Afer and Villnöss Geisler throughout the entire descent. Several variants can be chosen, including a part that is signposted as a black piste.

Every experienced skier will enjoy this slope with an altitude difference of 1048m. You may ski down the whole distance until the valley station of the Plose gondola lift. An amazing experience and worth skiing several times a day. 

The Plosepiste starts at 2,500m above sea level and already there offers a fantastic panorama. It leads enjoyably over wide open slopes and provides a view of one of the most beautiful Dolomite groups, the Geisler peaks. In the spirit of enjoyable, safe skiing, the sports enthusiast can feel himself swing by swing into the white element and savor the joy of movement over more than 3 km.

The Pfannspitz slope is an interesting change, especially for more experienced skiers. It runs evenly and shows the impressive view of the Afer and Villnöss Geisler throughout the entire descent. Several variants can be chosen, including a part that is signposted as a black piste.

The chairlift for 3 people is located at the hub of the ski area and makes the summit of the Ploseeberg accessible.

This itinerary takes you through a fabulous natural landscape featuring sunny terraces, children’s playgrounds and the Almenkneippweg, a path that passes four different stations.

Tip: you can rent mountain bikes for the way back.

In winter, the chairlift is the link between the slopes on the Pfannspitz and the Plose mountain and carries up to 4 people.

The Fundres/Pfunders Alpine Hut Circuit (Almhüttenrundweg) begins in the hamlet of Dun. Go up a short distance along trail no. 17 and then turn right onto trail no. 13A. After a short while turn left onto trail no. 13 and then no. 18 as far as the Egger-Bodenalm Alpine farm and cheese dairy. After the farm go a little further and then turn off to the right, crossing the hillside to reach trail no. 13. Continue along here to the junction with the Fundres Alpine Ridgeway. Turn right again for a short distance towards Kuhscharte and follow the newly-made forest road. This brings you to the Gampiel Alm Alpine farm with its panoramic views over the Pfunderer Tal valley and the Rodenecker Alm Alpine pasture, as far as the Peitler Kofel peak. The farm is particularly family-friendly, with a petting zoo for children. The descent takes you first along the forest road down to the Egger Höfe farms. From here you return to Dun, first on trail no. 13 and then to the left on the “Alter Weg" back to the car park.

The Dolorama trail climbs steadily – but in gentle ups and downs – through the vast expanse of the Rodenecker-Lüsner Alp into the UNESCO World Heritage Dolomites all the way to Lajen. It is divided into four stretches, each offering an insight into South Tyrolean alpine farming as it is currently practised. Impressive mountainscapes will accompany you every step of the way, and there are several huts along offering refreshments and overnight accommodation. You can use public transport to get back.

The family ski run Skihütte starts at the Rossalm and leads along a narrow path to the valley station of the SSL Pfannspitz. In the lower part, this slope leads through the forest, but is still mainly in the sun. The natural lines of the family downhill run make it a varied skiing experience. The different variants - a part is also signposted as a red slope - make this slope interesting.

A wonderful winter hiking tour to the alpine lodge Bacherhütte!

This slope runs over wide and quite flat slopes. It connects Schönboden with the lifts, which take you comfortably to the Plose or the Pfannspitz

The six-seat chairlift was opened in 2010 and makes the particularly popular Pfannspitze ski slopes more easily accessible.

How well do you know our trees and woods? Set off for a real adventure on the Rodeneck nature trail, where you and your family can explore the forest world in all its many facets. The trail starts by the Ahner Berghof farm and leads o the local reservoir, and is equipped with exciting stations that guarantee great fun for young and old. Put your balance to the test and craw through the tree trunks or have fun throwind pine cones... no room for boredom! You can easily reach the starting point, the Ahner Berghof, with the Almbus shuttle No. 415 (it runs every hour)

From the car park in the village centre you hike in a north-westerly direction for 100 m along the Strada del Sole Road until you reach the Ternerbach River. This is the start of the educational mills path. Follow the sign-posts. At half way you reach the Jennewein guesthouse and the pyramids. After approximately 10 min. you will get to the 5 main mills. At Hansleitner Mill you can cross the bridge leading to the other side of the river. You hike past an old farm and reach the ski lift. From here you take the field path back to the village centre. You will get to Hotel Wiedenhofer and back to the Strada del Sole Road. Duration: 1,5 h

The lonely green slopes of Pfunders hide two real gems: the Grindlberg lake and the Weitenberg lake. This beautiful tour, far removed from the most-trodden paths, begins at the spacious car park in the tranquil hamlet of Dun.

This is steeper and more demanding and thus offers the ideal challenge, especially for training groups.

The more than 2 km long slope to Palmschoss is considered by many to be an absolute insider tip. The slope runs almost exclusively in the forest, without thereby being in the shade. It is a natural curvy course, which makes the charm of the slope.

The 10-person gondola lift was taken into operation in 2016 and carries passengers in summer and winter from the village of Schihütte up to the Pfannspitz mountain.
