Summer evenings in Schenna: music & shopping. Stroll through the centre of the village after your evening meal, listen to music, browse in the shops and boutiques and buy some souvenirs to take home with you. In summer, contemporary and folk music bands fill the evening air with music in Schenna. Societies in Schenna also organise various forms of entertainment. Shop opening hours in the evenings: 8pm to 9:30pm.

Together with the Ladin language and craftsmanship, the local folk costume is at the very heart of Val Gardena culture. Its lavish decorations make it one of the most beautiful costumes in the Alps. The costume is particularly important as it identifies the social status of the person wearing it. The traditional costume parade starts at the community square of St. Christina and leads to the Center Iman. Where afterwards the Gardena traditional costume will be explained.

Concert as part of the Badiamusica Festival with Duo Gota, consisting of siblings Katia and Jan Moling. Their repertoire ranges from meditative sounds with handpan and viola to energetic rhythms with percussion instruments that inspire dancing. Entrance is free. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. Summer night concert with the music band Villanders, accompanied by the folk dance group Villanders. Guests of the member of the tourist association Klausen, Barbian, Feldthurns, Villanders can expect a holiday lottery with the raffle of some material prizes. Food and drink with sweet Villanderer Krapfen, Speck and Kaminwurzen is well provided.

After eight years, the Ritten Trade Fair returns with its eighth edition. Craftsmanship, commerce, agriculture, industry, gastronomy, and service providers come together to showcase their skills. Experience the full creativity and strength of Ritten’s economy at the Ritten Arena in Klobenstein from July 30 to August 3. Free admission

At 07:30 PM, the long evening with various sales stalls, will take place again in the town square of Laion. Food and drinks will be provided.

Mark your calendars for the evening of July 17! Isabella Halbeisen will enchant young readers with a captivating reading from her book " Wolli Trolly hat sich verlaufen” (in German). Next, she will engage the children with a fun quiz, help Wolli Trolly find his way home, and with coloring pictures. Join us at the Rathausplatz town hall square in Lana from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. Readings will take place at 7:30 p.m.

Millwood Mountain Beatz - The open-air experience of the summer! Be there when Millwood Mountain Beatz gets the mountains shaking on August 2nd! This unforgettable open-air event offers a mix of rousing music, exciting activities and a breathtaking backdrop.

The village of Laas is known for its marble quarry, which attracts artists and students from many countries. But it is also known for its organic products such as fruit and vegetables and especially its juicy apricots. The Marble Village combines both at the "Marmor&Marillen" festival, with a beautiful market, food stands, live music, children's programme and where artists and sculptors exhibit their works. For more than 20 years, this cultural and fun festival has brought visitors closer to the ancient traditions of fruit growing and marble extraction in Laas.

The only country festival in South Tyrol 🤠 with country music and typical fare in an authentic western town. Entertainment for the whole family! This year's country festival will take place from saturday 2 to Sunday 3 August 2025 in the western town of "Sacramento City" in Prad am Stilfserjoch. Country music, Wild West food, pony rides, tomahawk throwing, carriage rides and many other highlights await you!

Church day in Aschbach On Sunday 4 August, starting at 10:00 a.m., the traditional "Kirchtag" will take place in Aschbach. Music, food and drink will be provided. The Algund Volunteer Fire Brigade looks forward to seeing you.

Matinée with the ensemble ‘Ladies in Dress’. Ursula Mühlberger (violin), Viktoria Gögele (violin), Ester Carturan (viola) and Lucia Suchanska (cello) perform contemporary music.

Every year on the first Sunday in August the ancient miller's profession can be observed and discovered in the Ternertal Valley within the framework of the Mill Festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.! Enjoy the splashing of the wooden water wheels while observing the grinding process in the old mills! You can savour local culinary delights such as home-baked bread, dumplings and fried specialities.

The Wurzer Alm cordially invites everyone to the Wurzer Kirchtag on the Wurzer Alm in Hafling. There will be great food and drinks, including a barbecue. There will also be music and fun games for the children.

Dedicated to Tradition and Culture Under this motto, traditional Sunday morning pint events take place in all the villages of the Hinterpasseier. The goal is to bring visitors closer to the traditions and cultural richness of the region. Program: 10:00 a.m.: Holy Mass From 11:00 a.m.: mornign pint with the music band of Platt and traditional dance music in the afternoon. The Platt rifle company (Schützenkompanie) will treat guests to typical Passeier specialties such as grilled dishes, "Krapfen", and much more.

Strudel Festival in the woods "Flatschwaldile" on Sunday, 3rd August from 11.00 am. to 5.00 pm.! A lot of various tipical specialities (Strudel), würstel and pommes frites, drinks and coffee. Games and entertainment for the kids.

On the first weekend of August, the traditional Val Gardena costume parade takes place. The five local brass bands, the traditional costume association, and various folk dance groups participate in the event. After the parade through the center of Selva, a grand concert by the brass band takes place in the town square. Food and drinks are provided by the local community association of Selva di Val Gardena. The traditional costume parade starts at 3:00 PM above the town square and follows Nives Street to the intersection at Hotel Krone. From there, it continues along the main road, passing Nives Square, and returns to the town square.
