Accompanied by bells and wreaths the animals inhabit the area of Compaccio at 10am. The colourful herd consisting of 250 animals, some carts and some classic-style tractors will leave the Alpe di Siusi at this very time.

Starting at 10:30 a.m., cows adorned with flower wreaths and bells fill the streets of Compatsch. The colorful herd of around 250 cattle, sheep, horses, and goats, along with decorated carts, then heads towards the valley and Kastelruth around midday.
