The dumpling is not a meal in South Tyrol, but a way of life. Part of everyday life, the dumpling is enjoyed here above all not as a side dish, but as a meal in itself.
The annual dumpling festival in the village square of Kastelruth is an absolute highlight of the summer months. Immerse yourself in the variety of traditional South Tyrolean dumpling dishes, including cheese dumplings, spinach dumplings and bacon dumplings. For those of you with a sweet tooth, the sweet apricot and strawberry dumplings are also a must.

KLANGfeste: Musical Diversity in the Castle Courtyard
From Viennese soul to oriental and French sounds, from Nordic folk to Mediterranean musical traditions, from vocal jazz and classical arrangements to Alpine-inspired world music.
The 26th edition of the KLANGfeste summer concert series at Runkelstein Castle once again promises musical diversity with outstanding musicians.
Every year, the South Tyrolean Cultural Institute curates a vibrant, varied, and high-quality music program in the picturesque courtyard of Runkelstein Castle.
The concert series is made possible thanks to the excellent collaboration with the Bolzano Castles Foundation and the Castelbell Castle Board, as well as the strong financial support of the Raiffeisen Bank of Bolzano (main sponsor since the very beginning), numerous concert patrons and benefactors, and the Department of German Culture of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano.

The Language Café is a way to practise speaking a foreign language in company and in an informal environment.
At the Don Bosco Library in Laives you will find a moderator for each table, i.e. for each language. Depending on the language you want to practise in, choose your table, sit down and... start chatting! You will talk to the moderator or moderator and the other people like you sitting at that table. If you get tired, you can safely leave or change tables. In general, it is recommended that you have a basic knowledge of your chosen language in order to be able to follow the conversation and participate actively.

In the picturesque alpine meadows below the farm Stadlalm in Welschnofen, between the Rosengarten and the Latemar, between the grill and the fire pit, between creative and sophisticated creations, at this event you can look over the shoulders of the chefs as they prepare their delicious dishes.
Manuel Pichler from the Restaurant Tschein, Reinhard Daverda from the Hotel Pfösl, Gregor Eschgfäller from the Gourmet Restaurant Astra, Thobias Pardeller from the Franzin Alm, Philip Lochmann from the Hotel Engel Gourmet & Spa and Arnold Paris from the Vitalhotel Erica will all give your taste buds a treat.
Wines by renowned South Tyrolean winemakers will be served in keeping with the delicious food, including the Manincor Winery, the Nals Margreid Winery, the Glögglhof Winery, the Unterhofer Winery and the Putzenhof Winery. Guests will be welcomed with a sparkling aperitif from Red Moon Sparkling and the Arunda Winery, accompanied by a selection of savory appetizers.
Coffee enjoyment is available during the event, too. Those in the mood for cool drinks will be well catered for at the Getränke Holzknecht stand. Additionally, the Schwarz Distillery will be present, offering a range of fine spirits.
The band “The Legendary St. Pauls Tschäss Bänd” will ensure there is plenty of great gourmet music too.
