Each year, the Merano Music Weeks offer visitors the chance to hear outstanding classical concerts, mostly in the evocative Art Nouveau atmosphere of the Merano Kurhaus.

A series of events where people meet, share their stories, and get inspired. Between a good drink and live music, ideas, passions, and visions are exchanged. An elegant and stylish atmosphere for those who want to connect and unwind. B-Bold. B-Social. B-Connected. Every Wednesday from 7pm to 11pm.

On 18 September 2025, the ASI Autogiro d’Italia will stop in Brunico! Starting in Sanremo and covering an exciting 1,500 km route to Trieste, the vintage cars will pass through the heart of the Alps. This is a unique opportunity to admire classic vehicles up close, soak in the atmosphere of a grand road adventure, and enjoy a day full of passion for motors, stunning landscapes, and convivial spirit.

The Termeno Band invites you to the autumn concert with a wide repertoire of classical and modern in Termeno's town hall square. You can listen to popular music and experience traditions. Start at 20:30.

When autumn begins in the southern Valle Isarco/Eisacktal, it starts also the so-called Törggele-season. Chiusa/Klausen celebrates the beginning of this ancient tradition with a big festival. From 19th September to 21st September, the artist's city Chiusa dedicates itself entirely to the traditions of the "Törggelen" and transforms itself into some kind of outdoor tavern. Through the streets of the town, gastronomic stands offer various South Tyrolean specialties, such as Knödel, Schlutzkrapfen, sausages with sauerkraut (fermented cabbage), doughnuts, Strauben and roasted chestnuts. A rich selection of white wines from the Valle Isarco completes the culinary offer. The festival has also a colourful entertainment program and a lot of popular music. Around 90 cows that have spent the summer on the Bergalm, the Ontrattalm and the Bärnfiechtalm will arrive dressed up at the Sennerhof (Jaufentalerhof) on Saturday at around 12:30 pm. the evnt starts at 10.00 am. Food and drinks will be provided. There is a large marquee at the Sennerhof farm, music and good entertainment are guaranteed. The event will take place in all weather conditions.

The festival kicks off at 3:00 p.m. with the traditional cattle drive from the alpine pastures. Afterwards, enjoy delicious local specialties and lively music. Join us and experience the magic of tradition! During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. The footage may be used and published on websites, on social networks and on media in compliance with the data protection regulations.

Old handicraft – more alive than ever At the festival “Old handicraft beneath the Schlern”, artisans demonstrate their skills: basket weaving, knife making, barrel binding and much more! From 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the village square of Seis becomes a stage for living history. The event will be accompanied by music from the Pflerer Gitschen and the Südtiroler Tanzlmusig, as well as a farmers’ market, a children’s play area, and willow-weaving workshops. Regional delicacies will also be available – come by and experience traditional craftsmanship! In cooperation with the local heritage associations and the artisan association of Kastelruth.

The cattle return from the alpine pastures to the valley and Sesto celebrates! The cows in particular are elaborately decorated on their return from the alpine pastures: the leading cow and the cows that follow her wear wreaths decorated with sayings, images of saints and elaborate embroidery. The Almabtrieb is combined with a festival to celebrate the safe return of the animals. - Festival begins at 11:00 a.m. - Parade starts in Moos at 12:00 p.m. - (Liener Stall, sports facilities, Haus Sexten) - Performance by the Heinfels band in the Haus Sexten pavilion from 12:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. - Performance by the group ‘Wio und di oane’ from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

"Almabtrieb" from the Silvesteralm (20.09.) at the football field of S. Silvestro: at 12.00 clock there will arrive the first animals. Small traditional festival of the volunteer fire department of S. Silvestro in the football field.

On Saturday, September 20th, 2025, Geiselsberg celebrates the traditional cattle drive from the alpine pastures – a true highlight for locals and visitors alike. The festivities kick off at 11:00 am with hearty food and refreshing drinks. At 1:00 pm the colorful parade begins: starting at the Häuslerhof, passing the Hotel Hubertus, and continuing to the Geiselsberg fire station. Decorated cattle, proudly accompanied by farmers, create a unique and authentic atmosphere. Live music by Feiwolawi will add to the lively spirit of the day, while delicious regional specialties and an exciting raffle with great prizes await. Tradition, taste, and togetherness – the Almabtrieb in Geiselsberg is an event not to be missed.

In September, Last Summer Glow invites you to an atmospheric evening that celebrates the end of summer in a unique atmosphere. Under twinkling fairy lights and warm candlelight, surrounded by natural decorations, cocktails, selected red and white wines and fresh juices are served. Small culinary highlights round off the experience for guests. An evening full of relaxation and enjoyment that celebrates the gentle transition from summer to autumn in a stylish and harmonious way.

The city of Laives warmly invites you to the Mobility Festival! On 20 September from 7:30 pm, Via Kennedy will turn into a lively open-air celebration. Local associations will offer fun activities for children and families, while visitors can explore fascinating vehicles from SASA, the White Cross and the Carabinieri. Plenty of food, drinks and good vibes await. On stage, the bands Tabaluga, Skantinati, Atmosfera Zero and Lift Beer will provide live music.

The afternoon begins with the inauguration of the new cycling track in Laives at the Galizia sports area. From 4:30 pm, a festival will take place at Don Domenico Penner Square in Pineta with drinks, music and numerous bicycle-themed activities: a bike workshop for small free repairs, decorations and gadgets to prepare and make bicycles safe for the light parade, a cycling course for children with Polisportiva Pineta, and bike painting by the Fly Youth Centre. In the evening, the bike light parade will ride from Pineta to Laives, leading to the Mobility Festival in Via Kennedy. During the traditional Zeppichl Almabtrieb (cattle drive), the decorated animals return to Zeppichl from the Lazinser Hof farm on the sunny side starting around 11:00 a.m. "Frühschoppen" with the bohemian music of Walten and musical entertainment with the music group "Die lustigen Stawanza", as well as interludes by the folkloristic group Schuhplattler from Stuls/Stulles and Mölten/Meltina, and the Psairer Goaslschnöller. There will be a guessing game with great prizes to win.

A long tradition, specially in Mühlen: the fair day festival! A local club organizes a typical feast with roast chicken, delicious sausages, pretzels, beer and wine and local music. The highlight is the “Kirchtagmichl” (puppet) attached to a tree trunk drawn in a vertical position. It takes several hours! During the night, the Kirchtagmichl must be guarded. Because the boys of the neighboring village are keen to steal it ...

Traditional autumn festival: parade of the Schützen corps (shooters) with costumes and music in Schenna. The mood is festive at the autumn Schützen fair! P A L A P E A R S U N D A Y Sunday, 21.09.2025 Pala pear Sunday concludes the Pala pear days in Glurns. For many years, the event has been organised with great success by the volunteer fire brigade of Glurns. After the Holy Mass and the procession, people meet at the new festival area ‘Glurns Festival’ to celebrate the harvest of the Pala pear.

The legendary Schupfenfest in San Genesio is a rustic gastronomic festival that enthuses locals and tourists alike. The festival offers the opportunity to combine the pleasure of a beautiful hike in the alpine pastures with the enjoyment of traditional South Tyrolean specialities in mountain huts. The itinerary allows visitors to stop along the way at various 'Schupfe', or huts in South Tyrolean dialect, between San Genesio and Meltina, sampling various typical specialities, from the inevitable farmer's snack to dumplings, Strauben and other sweet pancakes. Of course, there is no shortage of good music or company. So, off to the Schupfenfest in Jenesien, possibly in traditional costumes: lederhosen and dirndl!

The return of the herds from summer pastures in the Tel high mountain valley is appropriately celebrated at the Nasereit Alpine shelter, in accordance with the old farming tradition.

The festival begins at 10:00 a.m. with Holy Mass in the church of Sauders. From 11:00 a.m., the festivities kick off at the covered festival square at Winklerhof. Music and entertainment will be provided by the Hochwilde Böhmische from the Passeier Valley and the folk music group “Schilling und Lire”. Dance enthusiasts gather on the large dance floor, joined by the folk dance group from San Candido. Delicious Törggelen dishes will be served, a raffle will be organized, and children can enjoy a playground and a trampoline.

The Farmers' Youth Festival takes place at the Viglatscherhof in Steinegg/Collepietra. The Klausner band will provide entertainment from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Prizes will be awarded to the best milkers. Craft corner with Hube. Food and drink will be provided.

Tradition, culinary delights and mountain views. Every year on the third Sunday in September, the traditional Val Casies Valley Alpine Hut Festival attracts numerous hiking enthusiasts to the valley. The festival rotates between the three villages of Colle, S. Martino and S. Maddalena – giving guests the chance to explore the alpine huts and experience the diverse beauty of the Val Casies mountains. This year, the associations of Colle invite you to the 37th Val Casies Valley Alpine Hut Festival at the Gschwendtner Boden – Maura Alm. The starting point is Colle/Schintlholz. The hike from hut to hut is a gentle circular trail, making it perfect for families. The day begins at 10:30 am with a festive open-air Holy Mass. Visitors can look forward to traditional dishes, regional specialties, and live music throughout the day. For the little ones, an exciting treasure hunt promises plenty of fun – and as a special highlight, the “Taistner Gaslkrocha” will once again thrill the audience with their rhythmic whip cracking. In the late afternoon, everyone gathers in the party tent to end the festive day together with music and good cheer. A truly unforgettable celebration to mark the end of the alpine summer – traditional, warm-hearted, and surrounded by the breathtaking nature of the Val Casies Valley. Our participating associations offer a wide variety of traditional dishes: MAURA ALM (Church Choir): potato fritters with sauerkraut, grey cheese. MAURA ALM (Nature and Culture Association): "Hittnpfandl" (pastor-style maccheroni), Linzer cake. KUHWIESENBRÄNDE (Volunteer Fire Brigade): spare ribs with potato salad, apple strudel with vanilla sauce, “Ziggolan” (fresh alpine cheese). HOUFA HITTE (Young Farmers & Countrywomen): barley soup and Tirtlan (fried pastries with filling), mixed roulades, coffee. HOBISA HITTE (Music Band): pressed dumplings with cabbage salad, Strauben. DOLOMITENBLICK (Sports Club): alpine burger, Kaiserschmarrn.
