In a valley in which dialect and garb are still alive, it is not unusual that its tradition is thoroughly cultivated. The „Klöckeln“, is a pre-Christian custom practised the first weeks of December and has an old tradition.

The Margreid Lantern Advent invites you to enjoy the pre-Christmas season in an atmospheric setting. Mulled wine stands, an idyllic Christmas forest and lovingly designed lanterns decorating the streets and houses give Margreid a special Christmas glow.
A highlight is the Krampus run on 5 December, accompanied by St. Nicholas, who gives gifts to the children. Musical performances, Advent stories and culinary delights create a festive atmosphere for young and old alike.
On 23 December, the traditional charity mulled wine stand invites you to enjoy music and community spirit – and the most beautiful lantern decoration of the year is also awarded a prize.

The traditional St. Nicholas parade in Malles will take place again this year on 5 December 2025. It starts at 2 pm with the St Nicholas wake-up The spectacle then begins at 8 pm with the traditional St Nicholas parade with several Krampus groups (Route: Despar Rungg to the main square) The Mals Krampus are already looking forward to your visit!

Every year, the traditional St. Nicholas procession takes place in Sterzing on the evening of December 5th. While Knecht Rupprecht and the Moors help St. Nicholas distribute the presents, the “Tuifl” (Krampus) use their rods to keep order. Originally, the custom was used in early winter to scare off threats from the spirits of darkness and frost.

The traditional procession begins at 6 p.m. and moves from the north through the old town, across the town square, through the Zwölferturm tower and into the new town. In the afternoon, St. Nicholas makes a number of house visits, during which he is also accompanied by the Tuifl.

The traditional Krampus run in Welschnofen | Nova Levante has been an integral part of the event culture in the Eggental valley for many years. On December 5, 2025, starting at 7:00 p.m., the Schuffatuifl Welschnofen will organize a small yet impressive parade for young and old alike. Along the route between the pharmacy and the church square, wild figures will make their appearance to drive away evil spirits and everything that takes away the festive spirit of the Christmas season.

Music and atmosphere all day long. Food and drinks will be provided! 5-10 Krampus characters live on site during the day. Perfect for photos. Please take care with your clothing; we cannot be held liable for any damage.

At 2 p.m., wake up Krampus, at 3 p.m., children's parade with St. Nicholas, at 4 p.m., house visits, from 9.30 p.m., parade with after-show party The Schleiser Krampus are looking forward to seeing you!

Krampus Day in Glurns begins with the ringing of bells at 3 p.m. on the festival grounds. At 6 p.m., there will be a St. Nicholas parade followed by an after-show party on the festival grounds. Live music with the Stadtlrocker and DJ Honz. Drinks will be served from 3 p.m. exclusively on the festival grounds. This year, for the first time, traditional masks as they were last worn around 1950 will be presented.

The Group of devils in Villnöss valley organises the traditional Krampus parade. Over 10 Krampus groups from all over South Tyrol await you.
The festival starts at 6.30 pm; the Krampus run begins at 7.30 pm. The route is closed off. Afterwards, after-show party in the culture house of St. Peter with DJ Double Dee & DJ Speedy.

On December 5th, as soon as it gets dark, St. Nicholas accompanied by his angels and his servant Ruprecht crosses the streets of the village and enters the homes of children, bringing them gifts, praising them or reproaching them if necessary. On 6 December 2025, starting at 7.30 p.m., the Burgeis Krampus and St. Nicholas parade will begin at Restaurant Gerda, passing through the village square and ending at the schoolyard. Afterwards, the Krampus party will take place in the schoolyard in Burgeis.

The Krampus parade begins at 5:30 p.m. Dark figures with frightening masks, shaggy furs, and loud bells move through the streets, spreading a mysterious atmosphere. A special experience that keeps the old Krampus tradition alive.

The Krampuses’ route will be as follows:
Viale Stazione → Piazza Walther → Piazza del Grano → Via dei Portici → Piazza Erbe → Via Goethe → Piazza della Mostra → Vicolo della Parrocchia → Via Isarco → Parco dei Cappuccini.
