Logisch in LOIDN! The legendary Schmirberball in Laion is finally back on the program! Saturday, November 9, 2024, is the date! The gates open at 8:00 PM. In the main hall, "KING KONGS DEOROLLER" starts at 8:30 PM. At 10:15 PM, "DIE SÖHNE TIROLS" will perform. As the late-night act, and by now a classic, the Loidner boys from "POLIGAM" will rock the house starting at 2:30 AM. Entrance: 15,00 € 16 and older can join!

The "Leonardiritt" begins on Saturday with a special evening dedicated to Ladin music. Gastronomic specialties will be served in the tent. On Sunday the festivities continue with the celebration of the Holy Mass at 09:00 a.m. and with the horse parade in honour of San Leonardo, patron saint of horses and riders, with horses and traditional costumes from South Tyrol at 10:45 a.m.. The music bands from Moena, St. Georgen and Badia will take part in the parade. On Saturday there is musical entertainment with local groups: 19:00 - 20:30: Julian & Band 21:00 - 22:30: Alexander Dal Plan 23:00 - 12:30: Wisetime The festival continues in the events hall with gastronomic specialties and musical entertainment. The event will take place even in case of bad weather. During the event photos or video footage may be taken for the purpose of documentation and promotion of the event and the region. On 11 November 2024, St. Martin's Day will be held in St. Martin/S. Martino, celebrating the holy patron saint of the village. Programme: At 9 pm, the festive service will take place in the parish church. Afterwards, a brass band of the St. Martin's music band plays a concert on the village square, and the St. Martin's market of the mission group also takes place. At 5:30 pm the traditional St. Martin's procession starts through the village to the village square. After the reception of St. Martin on the village square, St. Martin's songs will be sung by the kindergarten and primary school children and the St. Martin's play will be performed. Afterwards, the 14th St. Martin's Goose Run will take place, where there are great prizes to be won. Tips for the goose run can be handed in to SKJ members and in the shops of St. Martin. The SKJ St. Martin will frame the whole day with delicious doughnuts and drinks on the village square.

The 6th Krampus Run in Nova Levante goes from the cable car station to the Community House. Experience the thrilling atmosphere as fearsome Krampuses march through the streets. This event showcases fascinating masks, loud bells, and traditional costumes that bring alpine culture to life. After the run, enjoy a DJ and music for a festive atmosphere.

The long-awaited and popular ApfelFest returns to Bolzano, with exhibition and sales stands, tastings, information exchange, an apple-based gastronomic offer, as well as a rich side programme with music and a play corner with children's activities. Walther Square will be the centre of the big event. The detailed programme will be available in the coming months. The Göllerspitz Tuifl proudly present their big Krampus parade in Bronzolo/Branzoll. Every two years, around 500 Krampus from numerous groups from South Tyrol and Trentino perform their devilish shows along the alleyways and streets of Bronzolo. The event is then crowned with an after-show party at the Thomsen-Waldele fairground.

The Bad Devils Teis will organise a Krampus parade in the centre of the village Teis. 12 groups from all over South Tyrol will be at the start and over 300 Krampus (devilish folklore figure) will be there. The church day in Schluderns is also celebrated during St Catherine's Week! It starts with a church day mass at 10.00 am in the parish church of Schluderns! This is followed by the church day festival ‘Kathrein, set the dance...’ with a traditional lunch and music from 11.00 am in the Schluderns culture centre! The volunteer fire brigade Schluderns is looking forward to your coming!

The Höllischen Pichl/Gsies invite everyone to the big Krampus show run in Colle in the Val Casies Valley. Krampuses from South Tyrol and Austria will take part. The event starts at 7 pm. and ends with an after-show party with a food stand and party music.

The "Brontntol Tuifl" of Laives invite to the Krampus parade on 30 November from 7 pm along Via Cairoli to the intersection of Via Pietralba and Via Dante. This year, 11 groups and over 200 Krampus take part in the parade. Afterwards, the "Aftershowparty" will take place at the Kulturhaus in Laives.

On December 5th, as soon as it gets dark, St. Nicholas accompanied by his angels and his servant Ruprecht crosses the streets of the village and enters the homes of children, bringing them gifts, praising them or reproaching them if necessary. St. Nicholas is also accompanied by several devils (Krampus), but they do not have permission to enter the house and will wait out side the door. in S. In a valley in which dialect and garb are still alive, it is not unusual that its tradition is thoroughly cultivated. The „Klöckeln“, is a pre-Christian custom practised the first weeks of December and has an old tradition.

Selva di Val Gardena is getting ready for a very special Christmas. The idyllic village of Selva, in the heart of the Dolomites, at the foot of the majestic Sella mountain group, is, at 1550 metres above sea level, the highest town in Val Gardena. With its direct connection to the legendary ski tour 'Sella Ronda', it offers 500km of perfectly prepared slopes for every ski lover. Strolling through the village you can stop to try a steaming hot mug of mulled wine or warm mulled apple drink, and you can easily find the perfect Christmas gift such as sweet scented pine pillows, cosy mountain slippers, warm woolly socks, wooden nativity scenes, and many other items to decorate your mountain Christmas. Thousands of twinkling lights infused with sweet Christmas melodies will be sure to light up the hearts of young and old alike. The stamping of hooves will send a cold shiver down your spine. A wild mob dressed up with furs, long coats and horns on their traditional masks (Lorfn) are on their way. The Devils outfits are impressive but the wooden masks are an art in their own right. In these often very heavy hand crafted wooden “Lorfn” much imaginative detail can be seen. Together with rattling chains, deafening cows bells, fire spitting little devils and cheeky witches (Perchten) the spectacle and indeed the illusion is complete. The rite harks back to legend. One which tells the story of times of famine where young farmers, men from high up in the mountains dressed in animal furs and horns, went off on raids.

Pre-Christmas Events in Terento. We want to bring children, families and guests closer to rural culture and traditions on the topic of Christmas. The trail leads from the decorated village centre to the town hall with cookie baking for children, to the crib exhibition and to the Christmas market. Handicraft products are offered at different stalls on the playground. The Christmas experience continues along the trail lit by torchlights and candlelight with special light effects to the "Stockner Waldile" forest, where rural specialities are offered in traditional huts. Fairytales and stories for children are told around the campfire in front of a big Christmas crib and a petting zoo.
