On Shrove Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Tramin will once again shine in the colorful splendor of the Children’s Egetmann Parade – one of the oldest and most fascinating carnival traditions in the Alpine region, dedicated specifically to the young people of Tramin in even-numbered years. This parade is a miniature version of the grand Egetmann Parade and offers a unique glimpse into the traditional carnival season. The children take on the roles of the adults: trumpeters, Ausschnöller, Ausmesser, and Wegmacher lead the procession, followed by the Schnappvieher and the magnificent wedding carriages of Egetmann-Hansl. Other colorful floats, including those of the bakery, the smithy, and the famous Altweibermühle, complete the vibrant spectacle. A special highlight of this parade is that girls are allowed to participate, making it even more diverse and lively. In contrast, in the adult Egetmann Parade, women are not permitted to join. This rule is rooted in a long-standing historical tradition.

Fast horses and skillful instructors will give us a breathtaking show! The event is organized by Horse Breeding Association Val Gardena "Lia di Ciavei Gherdëina".

The Gsiesertal Lauf is one of the best-known and best-loved ski marathons in the entire Alpine region. It is the second largest ski marathon in Italy, and is held on the 3rd weekend in February in the Val Casies Valley, South Tyrol (Italy). Ever since it was first held back in 1984, this race has never once been cancelled due to weather conditions. In 2021, the event was cancelled for reasons of force majeure (Corona). The event attracts a great deal of international skiers, with a good forty nations at the starting line every year and a great many World and Olympic Champions listed on the roll of honour. In 2026, it will take place at the same time as the ‘Milan-Cortina Olympics’. This is a unique opportunity for all participants to experience some Olympic competitions either in the neighbouring Antholz Valley or in Cortina (distance 35 km) in addition to their own sporting activities. The race runs along two routes, one of 30 km and one of 42 km; the classic race is held on Saturday and the skating race on Sunday. The amateur “Just for Fun” group. with none of the stress of rankings and timekeeping, is also extremely popular, and the programme of events also includes the “Gsiesertal KIDS Run” on Saturday.

Schwemmalm Open Air 2026 will take place on 21 March. The party will be in full swing at the mountain station of the schwemmalm cable car, at an altitude of 2,150 meters! Afterwards, the after-show party will take place at the valley station of the schwemmalm cable car! Admission to the open air event is included with a multi-day ski pass, a season ticket or a day ticket. Those who only want to go up for the open air event only pay the price for the ascent and descent with the cable car. The Ultentalcard is NOT valid on this day!

During the music week Sound of Snow, from 23 to 28 March 2026, the mountain huts in the ski area fill the alpine landscape with live music. Three times a week, from 12 to 3 pm, various bands perform and create special musical moments right on the slopes. The focus is on young, talented South Tyrolean artists who captivate audiences with fresh sounds and an authentic atmosphere. The week concludes on 28 March with the Spring Mountain Festival at the Gitschhütte. An alpine music experience that perfectly combines winter enjoyment and live sound.

Thanks to the sunny location, the mountain season starts earlier in Naturns than elsewhere. We open the new season on the Merano High Mountain Trail together with the mountain farmers of the Naturnser Sonnenberg mountain. The mountain farmers provide rare insights into their lives, traditions and everyday life. Another highlight is the culinary offer. The International Three Borders Race in Schöneben is a traditional ski race held annually on Easter Monday. The race attracts around 500 participants from South Tyrol, Switzerland, Austria, and Germany. In 2025, it will take place on April 06 on the well-groomed Fraiten slope in the Schöneben-Haideralm ski area. The race is a giant slalom that is contested across various age categories, providing both professionals and amateur skiers the opportunity to showcase their skills. The event is accompanied by an award ceremony and live music, making it a memorable day for all involved

Local and international artists transform fountains and cultural-historical treasures into an open-air gallery with their creative ideas. Reflections on ecological, economic and social aspects related to water and light are the basis of the artistic works. Under the motto "Water is life - light is art", an art trail is being created in Brixen's old town.

The Brixen Water Light Festival takes place every two years in May. The idea for the festival was born in 2015 after the premiere of the light and music show at the Hofburg in Brixen. The first edition of the festival was held in May 2017.

Corpus Christi is an important feast in the liturgical calendar, during which the Catholic Church celebrates the presence of Christ in the Eucharist. A solemn procession, in which the consecrated host is carried in a monstrance through the village, expresses this faith. This tradition also has a firm place in Kastelruth, and we warmly invite everyone to participate. The celebration begins at 9:00 am with the Holy Mass in the parish church, followed by the procession at around 10:00 am, which will move through the village and return to the church. We kindly ask all guests and visitors to accompany the procession with respect, to maintain order, and to observe the event reverently along the route. Please avoid entering the procession aimlessly. On 26 and 27 June 2026, the Volunteer Fire Brigade Lengmoos-Klobenstein will host the 29th Provincial Fire Brigade Competition and the 48th Youth Competition with youth camp. Over 3,000 firefighters, youths and supervisors from South Tyrol, Austria, Germany, Trentino and Slovenia are expected.
The competitions will take place at the Ritten Arena in Klobenstein. The youth camp will be set up near the Lengmoos community center. In cooperation with local associations, the fire brigade ensures great conditions and an exciting supporting Programm.
Founded in 1900, the Lengmoos-Klobenstein fire brigade today counts around 60 active members who volunteer daily for the safety of the local population
