On the spot where, in times gone by, dealers carted their illicit wares back and forth between Italy and Austria, the farm’s guests can now enjoy delicacies prepared according to secret recipes. 300-year-old Tendershof farm is situated at a height of 1,160 metres above sea level amidst breathtaking scenery. The Austro-Italian border runs through the farmland. This is not only a great place to be for the farm’s resident highland cattle, but Farm Holiday guests are welcome, too. The Tabaretta Hut lies on the “Marltschneid”, the Marlt ridge, directly on the way to the Payer Hut. It is a popular hiking destination, a pleasant viewpoint, and an important base for mountaineers climbing the Ortler North Face. From our sunny terrace you can enjoy the beautiful view to the impressive Ortler North Face, the Tabaretta fixed rope route, the Sasvenna Alps and the Ötztaler Alps. The lakes of Reschen and St. Valentin seem to be in reaching distance. Open from early June to mid-October.
