The Plonerhof winery in Marling invites you to an exclusive wine tasting and cellar tour every Thursday at 3:00 PM, year-round (except during harvest). Experience how passion and expertise create exceptional wines. During the tour, you will learn interesting details about viticulture and wine production. In the cellar, the secrets of winemaking will be revealed. Finally, the wine tasting completes this unique experience. At the Plonerhof winery, a variety of wines are produced on steep vineyard rows with inclines of up to 40%. The house’s cuvées are especially impressive, standing out for their unique diversity and the combination of exceptional grapes. The winery is located in a unique position, where the interplay of climate, soil, and the mountain ranges around Merano creates ideal conditions for viticulture. The Plonerhof produces wines that reflect the flavors of the region and are known for their high quality. The Tutzer family looks forward to welcoming you.

The Franz Gojer winery is a small family business whose history begins in the heart of the traditional St. Magdalen wine-growing area on the northern sides of Bolzano. In 2007, the family bought a second farm in Karneid in order to also offer white wine in the assortment. A large cellar was also built in Karneid, where all the production of the wines now takes place, as well as an architecturally interesting tasting room. During a wine tasting, you will learn more about the history of the Gojer family as well as their work throughout the year and taste the wines full of character, which unmistakably demonstrate their origin. Guided tours always take place on Thursdays at 04:00 p.m. Also possible on other days on request. Only with advance reservation.

Producers from the area offer their local and handmade products for tasting and for sale. Seasonal fruits and vegetables, bread, meat and sausage products, honey and jams, Liquors and juices, wood carvings and much more are offered.

The Gasthaustheater is very popular and will take place twice this year in Girlan. On Friday, May 16, guests can look forward to a delicious 3-course meal at the Girlanerhof, which will be served as part of the Gasthaustheater. Both events will be framed by the Girlan theater association with humorous sketches that will provide the best entertainment. On Sunday, May 18, 2025 at 11.30 a.m., starting at the Tannerhof Girlan, the Weinwelt Girlan invites you to a special champagne brunch in a historic courtyard, where one of the oldest vines in South Tyrol is located.
