n the villages of Vilpian, Siebeneich and Terlan asparagus has been grown for centuries. Today 15 asparagus growers in Terlan plant approx. 10 ha of high quality asparagus and sell it under the trade mark and hallmark of excellence Margarete. The elegant looking and extremely mild tasting Terlan asparagus is very popular with the connoisseurs of this white spring vegetable. In April and May several restaurants invite visitors to enjoy classic and creative asparagus dishes made with the valuable Margarete asparagus. Fresh asparagus with home-cured ham, boiled potatoes and Bozner sauce is one of the classics. The meal is accompanied by the fine, mineral containing Terlano “asparagus wine” (Sauvignon) from the Terlan winery.

Day and night dedicated to Pinot Noir! Viticulture has been rooted in South Tyrol for thousands of years. Vineyards are part of the landscape, culture and everyday life. On the sun-drenched slopes and along the South Tyrolean Wine Road, wonderful wines grow. Every Thursday, Elisabeth, the farmer's wife from Schildhof Obergereuth, rolls dumplings! The boss of the Hofkaffee invites you to a dumpling cooking course and reveals tips and tricks to ensure that the classic South Tyrolean holiday dish is a success. You'll find out whether it tastes good when you eat together. The cost includes the cookery course, recipes, lunch and a small surprise in the farm shop. Bread baking at the Museum: From 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. there will be a demonstration of how bread was baked according to a traditional Passeiertal Valley recipes. Visitors can watch our expert Museum bakers at work as they answer your questions and happily trade tips with those in the know. Participation with tasting and mini-guided tour is included in the admission price. The guided tour is only available in German and Italian.

During the farm tour at Lenkhof, you will learn all sorts of interesting facts about the individual production steps involved in making cheese and other dairy products as well as the history of the farm itself. Young farmer Georg will guide you through the barn, the processing and maturing rooms and tell you about how his animals are kept. At the end, you can of course taste the farm's own products. On May 1st, the fairground in Dorf Tirol will become a “Gourmet spot” where local makers will present their products and invite visitors to taste, talk shop and buy in a beautiful spring setting. Every 1st May, the traditional 1st May festival takes place in Laces on the Lacus place (main square). Typical delicacies, dancing and music as well as the erection of the maypole are all part of this festival. In case of bad weather the event will take place in the CulturForum of Laces.

The Partschins Band is holding a musical day in the village. A wide variety of music groups belonging to the Partschins Band will play between 10 am and 8 pm, including the “Böhmische”, “Zieltolböhmische”, “Flo & Co” as well as many other groups. There will be plenty of food and drink available.

From May 1st to May 4th, 2025, the Algund Gardenflair will once again take place on the church square in Algund. The garden village of Algund will be in full bloom, offering visitors a unique variety of plants: Mediterranean flora and trees such as palms, cacti, olive trees, various fruit and berry shrubs, as well as herbs, artistic creations, all kinds of garden decorations, and much more will transform the church square into a colorful paradise.
