The enticing, far-flung villages of Aldino & Redagno, as well as the mountainous and family-friendly ski area Jochgrimm, are somewhat scattered throughout southern South Tyrol. A true highlight of any holiday in South Tyrol meanders between Aldino and Redagno: More than 700 m deep, the Bletterbach gorge provides penetrating views into Earth’s history. From depths to great heights, hikers in the region can also ascend to the peak of the Weißhorn. A wealth of legends and traditions, such as the ceremonial cattle drive from the high-Alpine pastures in autumn or regional specialities like “Pitschn” and “Zirmertorte” cake, can be discovered on holiday.
