Cycle Tours through South Tyrol
Exploring South Tyrol by bike is both easy and relaxing on well laid out valley cycle paths. And, if you wish, it’s easy to return to your starting point by catching a South Tyrol train. In the west, cycle enthusiasts ride the Via Claudia Augusta, a historic Roman road, from the Reschen Pass to Salorno/Salurn. On the Pustertal valley cycle path in the east of South Tyrol, the landscape becomes more mountainous and, from north to south on the Brennero/Brenner cycle path, the historic cities of Vipiteno/Sterzing, Bressanone/Brixen and Chiusa/Klausen are great places to make an intermediate stop.
