Hugo: the South Tyrolean Aperitif
The Aperol Spritz cocktail is yesterday’s news. Today, South Tyroleans are drinking the Hugo. Made with sparkling wine, elderflower syrup and mint leaves this aperitif is especially refreshing in summer.

- 15 cl Alto Adige Sparkling Wine
- 2 cl lemon-balm syrup or elderflower syrup
- 1 dash of soda
Gently mix all ingredients with two to three ice cubes and serve in a wine glass with a lemon wedge.
