Explore the upper part of our beautiful village Barbian/Barbiano. The tour begins in the middle of Barbiano, on the village place near the church. We go to the "Wasserfallweg" at the end of Barbian/Barbiano. There we pass the farm called "Lukas" and on the trail 6A we arrive at a saw mill. From that point we can see to streets, one goes ahead and the other pass on the right direction. We take the second one and go right until we come to the "Wieserhof". There we have to go right and take the trail nr. 3 until we pass the information sign with "Barbian" on it. Our hike ends with the trail nr. 11, which brings us back to Barbian/Barbiano.
This stunningly beautiful trail takes you through the northernmost vineyards of the Eisacktal Valley, with a refreshment stop at a wine estate or at the Augustinian Monastery wine cellars in Neustift/Novacella.
Through coniferous forests and the wide alpine pastures of the Lüsen Alps you reach in about 2 hours the gentle summit of the Campill (Hörschwanger Kreuz, 2.190 m). Accompanied by an impressive panoramic view on the mountains of South Tirol and Austria.
Very beautiful summit hike, which also offers wonderful impressions in winter, when the skitour and snowshoe-hiker leaves his mark on the snow-covered Alp of Lüsen. Passing little alpine huts covered with snow, through the snowy romantic scenery of lawn and forest.
From Fane Alm (1,741 m), the prettiest Alpine-farm village in South Tyrol, follow trail no. 17 as it climbs gently through the "Schramme" gorge to the Brixner Hütte mountain hut (2,282 m). Here you can often see marmots on the hillsides to the left and right. The trail continues over the Sandjöchl saddle (2,651 m), then, where the trail forks, you continue on trail no. 2A and along the ridge on the difficult mountain trail no. 2 to just before the peak, where trail no. 18 takes you up to the summit cross (3,132 m). The highest peak in our Alpine-pasture region rewards hikers with magnificent views of the surrounding mountains. The descent takes you steeply down along trail no. 18 and over the Rauhtaljoch ridge (2,807 m). Below the trail you can see the Wilder See lake, which is a stunning azure blue in fine weather. Due of the altitude and the surrounding mountains, there can be sudden extreme changes in the weather here, which probably gave the lake its name. At Langeben take trail no. 18B, past the little Marblsee lake (2,399 m) and the Aschila Alm Alpine farm (2,255 m) back to where you started at Fane Alm.

Spanning Brixen/Bressanone to Franzensfeste/Fortezza, this exciting and instructive theme trail focusses on the history and cultural landscape of the Eisacktal Valley. On the 24 information boards found along the way, there is much to learn about the art and history of the oldest settlement in Tyrol, as well as its natural environment and geology.
The Sr. Cyrilus path leads from Bressanone through the Europa Meditation Path to St. Cyril's Chapel. 1238 this church was first mentioned. 1654 the Romanesque nave was extended with a choir. The interior is baroque today in large part, but there are also some medieval frescoes preserved. The Europa Meditation Path was established in 1993. The eight reflection points are dedicated to Christian Europe and his saints.
Hike from Skihütte to the Rossalm mountain pasture and the Großer Gabler summit on the Plose (2,575 m). Early risers or not, most people wish to experience the magic moment of sunrise, basking under the first rays of the new day on a mountaintop. With the sun rising on the Dolomite peaks of the Geisler Group, the Aferer Geisler and the Peitlerkofel, there’s no doubt that getting up early was well worth the effort.
From the village Barbian/Barbiano we hike on the "Wasserfallweg" to the lower and to the upper waterfall (we need good foodwear). On the trail nr. 34 we pass the "Katzenleiter", "Kasserol and "Stangen". We hike until Briol on the mark nr. 27 and then we take the trail nr. 4 to Dreikirchen/Trechiese. For the return we take the way nr. 6 to "Schlernbank", then nr. 3 to "Feistegg" and on this way we come back to Barbian/Barbiano.
We start from Barbian/Barbiano and take the trail nr. 3-11 in direction to the sport place. Continue on that way and you will come to the Dreikirchen/Trechiese. For the return we take the trail nr. 6 to "Feistegg" and then the way nr. 3 until "Wieserhof". From that point we have to follow the trail nr. 6A to the saw mill. At the "Wasserfallweg" we go back to Barbian/Barbiano.
This uncomplicated circuit hike on the high moors of the Villanderer Alm mountain pasture through pine forests, offers fantastic views of the Dolomites. Occupying about 20 km2, the Villanderer Alm is one of the largest Alpine pastures in Europe.
From Garner Wetterkreuz follow the trail number 10 direction Kühberg. Through forests and mountain meadows it goes uphill to the tree line and the "Stoaneren Mandl". From there on path no. 10A up to Königanger. From Königanger can you reach by trail number 7 the Radlsee. The return route is by route no. 10 and no. 14 to Bruggerschupfe until Kühhof. From Kühhof you take the path 17.
Start from the village centre and take path 3, walking by Gosternhof towards Ponte Gardena. From there, continue on the bike path to Colma. You will reach the Reatlhof just before the village on path 8A. Follow trail 5 from Colma to Barbiano, where you will talke path 11A and 11B for a quick detour to the Unteraichnerhof. The excursion can be carried out in both directions form Ponte Gardena.
