During a guided tour of our winery in St. Martin, many exciting and interesting things await you. We will tell you passionately about the harvest, winemaking and wine and let you share in our art of winemaking. During a tour of our vineyards, you can taste our wines and finally visit our barrique storage.

Every Wednesday we meet us in the farm of the Schildhof Obergereuth. Together we prepare South Tyrolean bread with spices and wheat from our farm. While the dough is rising and resting, we visit the wheat field and our mill from 1831. The bread and three recipes are taken home. While the bread is baking in the oven, we dedicate ourselves to lunch: a generous and varied platter of cheeses from the organic cheese dairies Aignerhof and Schupferhof, various types of bread from our farm and our medlar jelly. Hike from St. Leonhard/S. Leonardo via the E5 to the Schiefer fish farm. During the tour of the facility, you will learn many interesting facts about the keeping and processing of the fish bred there. After the tour, you can taste delicious fish specialities. We ascend from St. Martin and first visit the Steinhaus Schildhof farm, visible from afar. The hike continues along the Tratlegg primeval trail, past mountain farms to the Jaufenblick inn. After a rest, we descend to St. Leonhard and return southwards along the Passer, past Sandwirt, the birthplace of the South Tyrolean freedom hero Andreas Hofer and back to St. Martin. In German language. First discover the old and new cellars of the Terlan winery, founded in 1893, see how the wine is made and how the bottles are bottled. Afterwards you can taste: there are four Terlan wines to enjoy. Cost: € 30, € 15 with WinePass guest card. Please book at the tourist office by Thursday, midday. It is strictly forbidden to bring animals, regardless of their species, for viewing and tasting.

According to the motto “There is always someone spinning”, we have been processing local South Tyrolean mountain sheep's wool since 1948 and creating special cardigans that are tailored to the customer's individual needs. We will guide you through our workshops, where you will experience the old craft at first hand, from washing the wool to carding, spinning, knitting and sewing the cardigans.

An all-time favourite with young and old alike and a sustainable novelty here in our climes, which offer perfect conditions to our furry friends from North America, is a trekking tour with llamas. In addition to an informative guided tour, the trekking also includes a tour of the farm where the animals are kept, insights into farm life and, last but not least, a "Marende" (afternoon snack) at the Waldharthof farm. Every Thursday: Would you like to learn something about a very old craft? The wood turner Fritz Unterkalmsteiner present and show you all about this craft. Duration: ca 20 minutes

What actually is a star, how is it formed, why does it shine, why and how does it die? Or is it not a star at all but a planet? What are galaxies and can we see them? What is it about our home galaxy, the Milky Way? And how big and how far away are the stars we see with the naked eye? Where do we find our star sign, where the most important constellations? An answer to these and many other questions can be found on a extraordinary night hike with the passionate amateur astronomer and president of the "Max Valier" association Steffi Wolters. The short hike leads from the village centre of Steinegg / Collepietra over the Pstosserbühl to the roof terrace of the Hotel Steineggerhof. There the participants will dive into the depths of the universe. Sonja will provide you with information about the South Tyrolean Alpine apple, variety overview, cultivation methods, field work, processing, and marketing. You can expect a tasting of apples and apple juice from a local producer, along with a short walk through nearby orchards. Duration is approximately 1.5 hours. After a 2-minute ride by private car and a subsequent hike (approx. 20 minutes) you reach the excavation site, where you will search for Geodes of Teis under the expert supervision of a collector. Note: Due to Paul Fischnaller's advanced age, the excursion will be led by another experienced collector. Tools are provided by the museum Hiking boots recommended. Participation at your own risk! What is the difference between wild and farmed bees, how is a bee colony made up and how is honey actually produced? Beekeeper Walter answers all these questions and gives the participants further interesting information about the industrious helpers of our nature. With the appropriate protective equipment, you can marvel at the inner workings of a beehive and experience at first hand how honey is made, harvested and processed. At the end, you can taste the honey products made on the premises.

You will hear (only in German language) about the history of winegrowing, the vineyard plots, the varieties, the vine-training systems, and the estates and mansions you will encounter on the path. The Heufler residence was built in 1580 by the lords of Hohenbühel, "Heufler zu Rasen". It belongs to the group of noble residences that were built by aristocrats in rural areas during the Renaissance. Inside, you can admire the particularly beautiful "Hearnstube" with its Renaissance panelling. Today, the "Hearnstube" is considered one of the most beautiful Renaissance parlours in the entire Alpine region.

Minimum of participants: 6, max 12 persons. At the Ansitz Waldgries Manor, in the middle of the famous wine-growing area of S. Maddalena, viticulture has a long tradition. Waldgries was first mentioned in a document in 1242. Today Christian Plattner leads the wine estate with enthusiasm and success in the 3rd generation and gives his wines a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. Unique is the wine path "Zeit in Waldgries", where the visitor learns a lot of interesting facts about the winery and the daily work. At the end of the artistically designed path, the visitor is rewarded with a magnificent view of the city of Bolzano and the surrounding castles.

Via Bozen-Trient–Verona (short stay at a motorway station), we drive along the motorway to Padua and Venice. Arrival at around 10 a.m. By boat, we make our way to Saint Mark’s square in the centre of Venice. The city is built on 118 islands and offers many palaces and churches, romantic water ways and bridges, which bear witness to the former glory of the town. We stay in Venice for approx. 5 hours and return back via the Val Sugana to Trient and from there to Bozen and Schenna.

Guided e-bike tour to the engine house of the marble sloped railway on the “Bremsberg“ and then on foot via the “Brüchlerstollen“ to the “Weißwasserbruch” marble quarry, the place where the “white gold“ is mined.
