Experience the farm with all your senses! Markus will guide you from the village to the respective farm. You can look forward to tastings, interesting farm tours, and demonstrations of traditional farm work.

Have you ever seen a sustainable and completely self-sufficient farm? If not, then this hike to the Niedersteinhof mountain farm is just the thing for you! After a hike, Walter will open the gates of his organic farm and take you on a passionate tour of his farming activities. He describes his philosophy, the self-sufficient concept of the farm and the skilful combination of his mainstays of farm holidays, green energy and South Tyrolean mountain meadow hay. The organic mountain meadow hay in particular, from harvesting to versatile use, has led to creative "haylights" such as cushions, hay beds, wallpaper, lampshades, flooring, liqueur and gin. After the impressive tour of the farm, you can taste the farm's own products. At the very latest since the discovery of Ötzi, the Val Senales Valley has come to be known far beyond the borders of Europe. The guided tour of the exhibition “The Valley where the Iceman was found” on the ground floor of the archeoParc provides an insight into the history of the Val Senales from the time of Ötzi to the present day. It includes a tasting and the sale of products from the Val Senales Valley with carefully curated wine pairings in the museum’s panorama cafeteria. guided tour - The National Park visitor centre avimundus in the pediastrian zone of Silandro is entirely devoted to the bird kingdom of the Stelvio National Park. It offers visitors an overview of the world of birds, and selected bird species are clearly presented and assigned to their respective habitats. Visitors are given extensive information about the breeding and rearing, and on bird voices and their songs.

In German language. From end of march til Mid August. First discover the old and new cellars of the Terlan winery, founded in 1893, see how the wine is made and how the bottles are bottled. The church of St Veit stands on the Tartscher Bühel hill. The Romanesque church from the 11th century houses frescoes inside, some of which are badly damaged. The entire west wall is filled with a cycle of paintings (fragments) dating from the 16th century. Guided Tour through the Cellar World of Bolzano's Old Town Discover the mysterious cellar world of Bolzano's Old Town on an exciting tour. Visit the fascinating cathedral crypt, the archaeological excavations at Hannah-Arendt-Schule, and the historic cellars of the Mercantile building. You will get the answers to these and many other questions on this extraordinary night hike with the passionate amateur astronomer and astrophotographer Steffi Wolters.
