The Eichhörnchenweg trail trail in Marling/Marlengo functions as an educational nature trail and is identified with the emblem of a squirrel. The one km family-friendly circuit has 23 interactive stations which allow visitors to learn about the local environment while also experiencing adventures for themselves. The circuit is designed as an educational nature trail comprised of games, sports and relaxation, and to help hikers learn about forest life and wood in the process. A high rope facility within the Natur- & Erlebnisweg trail and a natural laboratory is fun for all age groups, encouraging visitors to play and experiment with wood.
PICE JU TRAIL (1650 m, H-R 1h 15 min.)
The Gran Ju circular trail is very easy and at the same time scenically interesting with beautiful views of the Val Badia, Monte Pütia and St. Martin. The route is also particularly suitable for families with small children and prams.
The circular trail starts at the mountain station of the Piz de Plaies lift on Col dl'Ancona and leads to the hamlet of Gran Ju, from where a pleasant forest path leads back to Col dl'Ancona.
Appiano has a distinctive architectural potential: Medieval castles, palaces and manor houses, traditional farms and newer grand villas in gentle hilly terrain sorrounded by vineyards.
Just behind the J. Freinademetz Parish Church and the rectory, follow the route up to St. Josephstraße street and from there turn right southwards to the Karlspromenade (Charles Promenade) as far as the Maria am Sand Sanctuary. Then descend passing Karlsburg Castle, crossing Plosestraße road and follow the Koflerweg trail up to Sarnser Straße road. At this point, you can either turn to the right and back to the starting point, or take the Don-Bosco-Straße road down to the Eisack river embankment and follow the river in northerly direction until reaching the city center.
The 12 km long knight tour passes by as many as seven castles, ruins and residences. The cultural exploration trail is also suitable for inexperienced hikers and is also suitable for those with buggy if you miss out the "Bierkeller" and Plima bridge sections.
Mölten is embedded in mountain meadows and oriented towards the sun and the mountain Tschögglberg. It is centrally located and only a short drive away from Meran and Bozen.

This segment will take you from Truden all the way to the idyllic village of Oberradein. The trail starts out downhill as you proceed towards Kaltenbrunn (lodging options and access to public transportation). You then pass by the famed "Ice Holes" of Kaltenbrunn and steadily uphill by way of Unterradein until you come to Oberradein. This village nestled in an unspoilt alpine landscape features stunning natural beauty, with numerous hiking options.
This about 3 km long round trail is a child-friendly, creative and near-naturally designed contemplation trail!

Follow hiking trail no. 12 to Meluno/Mellaun, then take trail no. 7 up to Golleregg before path no. 8, which leads back to the starting point.
This pleasant segment leads from idyllic village of Oberradein all the way to Truden – from 1,500 meters to 1,100 meters above sea-level. At the start, you proceed downhill by way of Unterradein until you come to the famed "Ice Holes" of Kaltenbrunn; because of the cool air that streams out of the openings in the ground, it's pleasant here even in the summer. Kaltenbrunn offers refreshment options and connection to public transportation. From here, the route goes slightly uphill and then levels off as you continue to Truden.
The "Vorbichl" Adventure Trail is located in Prissiano. This path is ideal for children and adults.
Permanent IVV trail
Gateway to the Dolomites. Round trip for experienced hikers on the high Alpine pasture of Resciesa at the entrance to Val Gardena/Grödner Tal, with great panoramic views of the Dolomites.
This extended circuit along the Archeopfad Archaeological Trail leads from Brixen/Bressanone through the vineyards and fruit farms to the Natz-Schabs/Naz-Sciaves plateau, covered in apple orchards. Passing two natural biotopes, the scenic trail runs from the northernmost vineyards in South Tyrol as far as the Augustinian Canons Monastery of Neustift/Novacella before returning to Brixen. This all-encompassing trail passes through some of the most beautiful cultural landscapes in South Tyrol.
Starting at the Plose gondola lift mountain station, follow the Lorggenring trail along the WoodyWalk before it branches off at a wide viewing platform. Stop for a minute and enjoy the view of the Dolomites before continuing into a dense woodland. Along the way, hikers learn about the Lorggen, ancient guardians of the forest and its inhabitants. From the Pfannspitz gondola lift valley station, you can quickly arrive at an elevation of 2,545 m. The view of the spectacular Geißler peaks and the surrounding mountains is absolutely phenomenal! Follow the trail along the ridge to the Plosehütte shelter, from where you can return to Kreuztal at the Plose gondola lift mountain station along trails no. 7 and then no. 3. This part of the circuit offers a magnificent panorama of the Brixen basin. The Lorggenring Hiking Circuit is also accessible to families with children, offering hikers of all ages a unique hiking experience on the slopes of the Plose.
The Hintertalweg trail leads through the typical Pfitscher high valley. The pleasant walk with slight inclines circles the Pfitsch valley end and allows wonderful views on the peaks of the Zillertal alps. Suitable for strollers.

Attention: the path is not cleared in winter and can be icy in places. Always wear good shoes!
