    Welcome to the kingdom of Gossy and Gschnitzy! The two waterdrops tell their exciting story along two trails in North and South Tyrol. You can relive the adventures of the lively drops and learn a lot of interesting facts about water.

    Pflerscherbach/Rio Fleres river boardwalk with various play stations for kids regarding "water" and "climbing". The hike begins at the sports field in Gossensass/Colle Isarco and leads to the valley Pflersch/Fleres. It is possible to return by public bus.

    Resciesa is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Puez - Odle Nature Park and is one of the most beautiful viewpoints in Val Gardena. This loop hike takes you from the top station of the Resciesa funicular to the summit cross. Passing then by the S. Croce Chapel you return to the starting point. Suitable for hikers of all ages, this easily hiked route guarantees spectacular panoramic views, extending from the Valle Isarco to the Sciliar area and to the Passo Sella.

    Short and easy family hike from Gossensass/Colle Isarco to ruins of Straßberg/Castel Strada near Ried/Novale. The castle is located on a hill on the ancient Brenner/Brennero road. At the beginning the castle was equipped with two drawbridges and a wall, but to date there are only some parts, such as sections of the walls, the battlements and the entrance tower preserved.
    The ruin is privately owned and can only be visited from the outside.

    Hike to the Earth Pyramids on the Ritten
    Ritten/Renon, Bolzano/Bozen and environs

    The Renon/Ritten earth pyramids are a phenomenon caused by erosion, appearing where ice age moraine loam from glaciers collected in the valleys. When dry, the material is as hard as rock but, combined with water, it becomes a clay-like mush which flows into the valley. It remains protected from the rain under large stones so that columns of earth are built up becoming taller after each rainstorm.

    Route: the hike begins in Collalbo/Klobenstein, the main village on the Corno del Renon mountain. The trail leads through Collalbo to Longomoso/Lengmoos until to the hiking trail no 24 in the Erdpyramidental valley, which is so flat that it can be walked with any sort of shoe and with a buggy. View the earth pyramids against the backdrop of the imposing Dolomites from the viewing terraces. Return via the same route, through Longomoso to the beginning of trail no. 37, the von-Eyrl Promenade and the starting point at the railway station in Collalbo.

    Tip: the easy way to get from Bolzano/Bozen to Collalbo is on the Rittner Seilbahn cable car and Rittner Bahn narrow-gauge railway.

    Starting point: park area Stein/Sasso (1.350m) or park area "Hölle/All'inferno" (1.450m)
    Version 1: starting from Stein/Sasso in Pflersch/Fleres walking towards the valley on the sunny side over the easily accessible pasture path in direction to the mountain pasture Furtalm. Version 2: over the forest path, underneath the Steinhöfe turn left and continue until you reach the mountain pasture Furtalm/Malga Furt. Version 3: from the gate following the signpost “Pflerscher Hölle” on your right and from there you reach the destination over a pasture path after approx. 45 minutes. Tip: special location at the valley basin, hiking tour for families, handmade products.

    Hike from Obereggen to Lake Carezza via the path "Templweg"

    For safety reasons the access to the snow cave is currently prohibited. It is possible to do the excursion without visiting the snow cave.

    A marvellous walk at the foot of the imposing walls of the Sas dla Crusc mountain passing through the woods to admire the vast flowering meadows of Armentara. Advisable is a brief stop at the "Snow cave" at the foot of the Piza dales Diesc summit. This is a fascinating natural cave, carved out of the snow formed from the water which, during the thaw and the summer storms, runs down from the Piza dales Diesc peak after winters with much snow.

    Hike from Corvara to the Col Alt – Pralongiá plateau

    This easy hike with little variation in altitude goes along gravel roads and wide trails across a high plateau typical of the Dolomites, with Alpine pasture land and inviting mountain huts. The panoramic views are amazing, ranging from the local Dolomites to the Marmolada glacier and the Austrian Alps.

    Circular Hiking Tour on Mount Plose near Bressanone/Brixen
    Brixen/Bressanone, Brixen/Bressanone and environs

    Starting point of the hike is the Widmann bridge in Brixen. Shortly along the O. von Guggenberg Street, turn right and on the Plattenweg path (marking 6) uphill to Cornale. Continue along the Via Crucis to San Andrea at the parish church of the same name. On the San Andrea loop trail the hike leads in a southerly direction to Meluno di Sopra and Cleran. From here take trail no. 8 down to Millan. On the Karlspromenade promenade descend to the Karlsburg residence and through the Plose path back to the starting point.

    The little church of St. John the Baptist is located in Cornale and stands on a charming rounded hill. The Martyrdom of St. Ursula, which dates back to the Renaissance (c. 1520), is of excellent artistic quality.

    The parish church of S. Andrea was first mentioned in 1177. Its late Gothic renovation around 1485 with presbytery and bell tower is still characteristic.

    In Cleran the little church of S. Nicolò impresses the visitor with its rich late Gothic ornamental frescoes. The cycle of the Passion of Christ is a pictorial jewel of excellent quality.

    The pilgrimage church of "Maria am Sand" with its depiction of the Madonna is the old parish church of Millan and dates back to the 14th century.

    Trail to the mills in Bulla
    Urtijëi/Ortisei, Dolomites Region Val Gardena

    The old mills of Bulla, a hamlet situated above Ortisei, were built in the 18th-19th century and were used to grind the locally grown cereals. The hike starts from the bus stop in Bulla and follows the steep street to the farmhouses Tuene and Kontot, follow the trail 3A until you get to a street. Take the street upward for 300 meters and then turn left downhill along the rill to the mills. The path continues in direction of the church and brings you again to the bus stop.

    From Passo delle Erbe, this hike along trail 8a runs though stunning pastures. At the foot of the north face of Pütia, turn right at the fork and take trail no. 4 to the Forcella di Pütia pass. At Forcella di Putia, head south down to the Göma pass across the pastures and then on to the north face of Sasso Putia and back.

    Starting point: mountain station Ladurns (1.713m)
    From the mountain station of the cable car Ladurns a path leads slightly ascending past the pasture village Ladurns with the farmed mountain hut Ladurnerhütte across the so-called “Mahder” to the mountain hut Edelweißhütte/Rifugio Stella Alpina. On the right there is an alp crucifix and behind it is located a little fishpond. There you can see a rock formation - the huge alpine massif of the summit Tribulaun. Although it is 3.100 high, it overshadows the remaining summits. Tip: delicious apple pie

    From the family hotel Feuerstein walk right over a bridge. A narrow forest path leads slightly ascending to the farm houses of Außerstein. Follow the signposts from there along the street, before you turn right into the forest. Reached the highest point of the hiking tour, cross three waterfalls of an impressing height (up to 81m). on the good marked path above the Steinhöfe you reach the parking area “Hölle/Inferno”. A short detour to the observation desk above “Hölle/Inferno”, the most famous waterfall in the valley is definitely worth it! Descent towards St. Anton/S. Antonio via the path no. 6 to the parking area.

    This easy and impressive circular hike is especially recommended due to the panoramic views to the Rosengarten, Schlern and Latemar mountains and the Alps. The hike can be combined with a visit at St. Helen chruch, which is famous for its high-Gothic frescoes. These mural paintings are amongst the most precious local examples of the High Gothic period. The church is open all year round. Just in front of the church, at the "Buschenschank" Kreuzhof, the visitors can taste typical south-tyrolean food.

    Enjoyble hiking tour through the forests and alpine pastures of Alta Val di Non, highly recommended over the late spring - early summer months because of the great variety of alpine flowers and in autumn due to its glowing larches. The hike starts at the parking area “Klammbrücke” just above the village of San Felice. From there the hiking trail no. 9 leads you directly to the San Felice lake (called also Felixer Weiher or Lago di Tret) in about 1 hour. The hike takes you through rough forests and mountain grassland whit panoramic views to the Val di Non and the Brenta Dolomites. The swimming lake (1604 m) has preserved itself as a natural biotope and has been rewarded for its excellent water quality. Not far from the lake there is the Felixer Alm - Malga di San Felice where you can rest end enjoy local dishes. The forest road from the Felixer Alm brings you back to the parking area. This hiking is also recommended for families with children.
