The sports zone Wasserebene is located just outside the village center of Castelrotto, the world-famous village due to its numerous personalities. On Wasserebene you will find everything a sportsman's heart desires, from a beach volleyball court, a children's playground, an artificial turf field, which can be rented for private tournaments and events, to a soccer field on which various top clubs (e.g. Fiorentina, Hellas Verona, Al Nasr) have already held their summer training camps. But not only sportive has the Sportzone Wasserebene a lot to offer. Culinary you will be spoiled by the boss himself. The traditional asparagus season starts on the water level, you can end your summer days with a cozy barbecue in company and in the cool winter months the year finds a culinary end with the two-week fish evenings.

The Schgaguler Schwaige mountain hut, lying at 1905m near the mountain station of the Ortisei / Alpe di Siusi cable car, opened in 1991. The hut is easily reached regardless of the season, whether during a bike tour or hike in summer or as part of a ski tour or snowshoe hike in winter. The spacious terrace is perfect for an outdoor lunch and guests can head to the garden to relax and sunbathe in the deckchairs. There is a playground and a small petting zoo nearby, where rabbits, goats, ponies and even lamas look forward to a visit from the children. The rustic interior is in traditional rustic style and includes a Stube perfect for spending time in good company - often for longer than expected, especially in winter! Tasty homemade traditional South Tyrolean dishes are all freshly prepared using the farm’s own products. The Almrosen hut is accessible via trail no. 7 from Compaccio/Compatsch and via the Hans-and-Paula-Steger trail, which also starts in Saltria. It is the ideal starting point for hikes to the Sciliar/Schlern mountain, the Gruppo del Catinaccio/Rosengarten, and the Sasso Lungo/Langkofel and Sasso Piatto/Plattkofel mountains.

The Schgaguler hut offers typical dishes, as well as cheese, Speck (bacon) and local wines. Accessibility From Compaccio/Compatsch, follow trail no. 30 as far as Ritsch and then trail no. 9 to the Schgaguler hut. It takes ten minutes on foot from the mountain station of the Ortisei/St. Ulrich lift.

Innerperskoler farm is located in sunny Aicha di Fiè, surrounded by vineyards and chestnut groves. The altitude of 700m above sea level favours both viniculture and cattle farming. In 2014/15 the Prieth family, the current owners, established a farmhouse inn where local South Tyroleans and tourists alike are welcome to delight in the fruits of the harvest. Innerperskoler farm was first mentioned in 1267, more accurate records date back to 1569. In 1736, a chapel was erected in order to bless and protect the farm and the house. It was dedicated to Saint Florian, the patron saint of chimney sweeps and firefighters, yet the farm and the barn burnt down entirely in 1994. Many precious documents and other objects were lost in the flames. The former owner Hermann Vieider rebuilt house and farm completely. First mentioned in records in 1379, Fronthof farm is the largest fully-preserved farmhouse in South Tyrol built on a steep slope from stone and is something special. The old, panelled dining rooms provides the ideal setting for special occasions and makes a great stopping point after a walk along the 'Oachner Höfeweg' Farmstead Trail. Open from March to May on Sundays at midday, in July, August and September from Tuesday to Thursday from midday to 11.00 pm, in August also on Sundays at midday, in October and November from Wednesday to Sunday from midday to 11.00 pm.
