    City Centre & Archaeology Museum Tour with Ötzi - English & Italian

    Take a guided tour through the historic old town of Bolzano. Visit Waltherplatz, Kornplatz, the fruit market, and the famous Lauben. Discover priceless works of art in the most significant churches of the city and immerse yourself in the fascinating history of Bolzano as a trading city. Along the way, we will explore medieval cellars, the barrel makers' alley, the traditional Torgglhaus, and the Weintörl near the cathedral. Afterward, you will have the opportunity to visit the South Tyrol Archaeological Museum with the famous "Ötzi", the Iceman! You won’t have to wait in line, as you can enter directly with the guide. However, a ticket must be purchased before entry. Once inside, you can explore the museum independently without the guide.     What exactly is sustainable winegrowing? During a guided tour through the small vineyard, you learn about the ecology of vineyards. You gain an insight into how wine is produced sustainably, from planting and managing the vineyard to processing the grapes and reaching the final quality of the wine.     The special exhibition "Grass and Teeth" at the Natural History Museum presents the cultural history of alpine pastoralism, the wild animals before human settlement, and the changes in the landscape caused by grazing animals and today’s shepherds. Guided tours and an easy-to-understand exhibition brochure are now available. What connects a bronze stag, a porphyry marmot, and an alpine pasture full of sheep? The special exhibition "Grass and Teeth - al pascolo - may safely graze" at the South Tyrol Natural History Museum tells the story of life on the alpine pasture through pictures and objects – from grazing and wild animals in the Alps, from old and new shepherds, to cheese and herbs, everyday knowledge, and tradition. Now the exhibition is also available in easy language: In cooperation with the OKAY Office for Easy Language of Lebenshilfe, the museum offers guided tours designed for people with learning difficulties, families, and anyone who wants clear, simple, and illustrative explanations. The guided tours last about 45 minutes, take place in German or Italian, and are suitable for children aged nine and up and adults. Participation costs five euros per person (including museum entry). Scheduled dates are September 26 and October 17, at 4:00 pm in German and 5:00 pm in Italian. Additional dates are available upon request.     Benedictan Abbey of Muri-Gries and the Old Parish Church of Gries (Italian-Germ)

    Experience an exclusive tour of selected areas of the Benedictine Monastery of Muri-Gries, made possible by the abbot himself. The historic monastery complex also houses a traditional winery, where the renowned Lagrein red wines from the surrounding vineyards are produced. In the immediate vicinity, we will visit the Gothic Old Gries Parish Church, which features a valuable Romanesque wooden crucifix and the famous altarpiece by Michael Pacher (1471-1475).
