You can reach the Locher restaurant going along trail no. 33a. Walk along trail no. 5 and you will come to the Kreuzerweiher Lake. From here, follow trail no. 6 until you reach the Altenberg/Flak belvedere. Walk along trails no. 11 and no. 5 to come back to the Messner restaurant and then continue on trail no. 5 and 9 until you reach Bozen. You will get to the old Gries parish church. Duration of the excursion: 3 hours and 05 minutes - Drop/rise: 306m 1,000m

The Schermoos parkplace is your starting point. Follow trail no. 17 to come to Wetterkreuz walking by Möltner Jöchl. From here, follow trail no. 15 until you reach the Sattlerhütte mountain refuge and come back to your starting point on trail no. 17 or 17a. Duration of the excursion: 4 hours - Drop/rise: 350 m

Starting from the village center of Avigna, follow the indication of path no.27 „Putenkreuz“
towards maso „Rohrwieserhof“ and maso „Perkmannshof“. From there, follow
the indication of „Rundweg Schwarzegg“ and keep always to the right towards Avigna.

Follow the E5 European long-distance trail or trail no. 1 and stop at the Gschnofer Stall restaurant. From here, walk along to Tomanegger and come back to the point of departure. Duration of the excursion: 3 hours - Drop/rise: 360 m

The so called "Knottnkino" on the rock Rotsteinkogel is a special view point. Enjoy a wonderful panorama on the Rotsteinkogel. From here you have a view on the Texel, the Penegal and you can see even the Weißhorn. The Etsch-Valley spreads under the rock. There are 30 armchairs made of steel and chestnut wood. If you sit down, you can enjoy nature as a whole, as if you where sitting in a cinema.

The round trail Simml is a small circular route situated above the village of San Genesio, with duration approx. 1 hour. 

This trail isn't suitable for prams. 

The starting point of this hike is the parking lot in front of the restaurant "Grüner Baum". From there you can reach the parking lot Schermoos via a vcery diversified path . From there we head for the circular route Langfenn, which leads directly to the eponymous. Worth a look here is the little church St Jakob.

This Romanesque church on Langfenn lies on the most visible and highest point of the plateau Salten (1525m).It stands on prehistoric soil and could probably tell a lot of exciting and historic stories from past years.On the altar we can see Saint Jakob, the protector of all hikers, the two plague patrons Rochus and Sebastian aside.

The deep snow-covered forests and paths on the Möltner Joch offer time and tranquillity to hike in unspoilt nature - a ramble through nature with overwhelming views.

The Tomanegger restaurant is your starting point. Follow trail no. 30 on the Salten an walk on along trail no. 6/12B, until you reach the Gschnofer Stall restaurant. From here, follow trails no. 7a and 7, and then trail no. 10 to come back to Wirtshof and trail no. 30 to come back to your starting point. Duration of the excursion: 3 hours - Drop/rise 313 m

Start from the Kampidell parkplace and follow trail to the Jenesiener Jöchl and then walk on with the snowshoes along trail no. 23b until you reach Stoanerne Mandlen. On your way back, walk along trail no. 23b until you reach the Möltner Kaser restaurant and trail no. 28 to come back to your starting point. Duration of the excursioin: 5 hours hours - Drop/rise: 350 m

Mölten, a village above Bozen, is embedded in the mountain meadows of one of the most beautiful plateaus in South Tyrol. It's the quiet center of this plateau called Tschögglberg at an altitude of 1,140 m. This place is definitely one of the most beautiful regions of South Tyrol with its wide high-level surfaces and invites the visitor to a relaxing hike.

The hike through meadows and forests from Mölten to Hafling is wonderful. The panorama is a pleasure for every hiker.

Sarner Scharte, Sarentino/Sarnthein’s local mountain, is a ridge which extends from the frazione of Ponticino/Bundschen to the frazione of San Martino/Reinswald.

A nice hike to the Castelchiaro/Leuchtenburg ruins, the "warmth holes" and the "Rosszähne" rock formation.

This hike lies under the motto alpine pasture to alpine pasture and hut to hut.Right at the beginning of the tour we ascend to the idyllic Wurzeralm.We continue past the Moschwandalm and the Maiser Alm past the Kreuzjöchl to the Meran hut.Here we can enjoy the wonderful view with a long rest.As far as the eye can see, to the south, east and west we can enjoy the unique mountain landscape of South Tyrol. Meran 2000 is also a popular destination for excursions in summer.It is easy to reach and offers a varied alpine and mountain landscape.

It is a long mountain hike, where good condition is required.

Trail no.1- Suitable for pushchairs. Jenesien, departure from the sportsground on trail no. 33 or trail no.1. Walk along trail no. 1 or the E5 European long-distance walking trail trough the hilly landscape offered by the Salten, to then reach the little church of St. Jacob and Langfenn. Our Hikers' bus can drive xou back to Jenesien. Duration of the excursion: 2 hours and 30 minutes - Drop/rise: 440 m

Along the hiking trail from Jenesien to Tschaufen, there is much to experience, for young and old. In the meadows along the hiking trail and in the forests you can meet different kinds of animals. There is a beautiful panorama on the plateau Tschaufen, and the the eponymous restaurant on the Salto awaits you with an extensive menu of homemade pastries and delicious cold dishes.

Walk from Schermoos over the Möltner Joch to the Möltner Kaser. From here you can visit the famous Omini di Pietra, where you can enjoy a wonderful view on the surrounding mountains. Finally, you will continue and cross the Auenjoch via large meadows and finally reach the Kreuzjoch. The long path is rewarded here with an excellent panorama. An interesting panorama map tells you which mountains you are looking at.

A very beautiful, somewhat strenuous hike from Laives/Leifers, through the Brantental valley, to Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen.

Along the way there are 12 stations, which were designed by the pupils of the local primary school. There are lots of small master pieces which were smoothly integrated into the landscape of the Salten high plateau. Each station tells you about a local fairy tale from the area of San Genesio. The stories and fairy tales about witches and similar legendary creatures have always excited the fantasy of children and adults alike. Examples of the many exciting stories are the explanation why the Castle Greifenstein is always called ”Sauerschloss“, the fairy tale of the sunken city, the endless ball of threads, the butter witch of Afing, how the Castle of Greifenstein got its name, the captured mermaid, and many more. The restaurant Lanzenschuster serves hearty home-made South Tyrolean specialities with regional products and home made products, like strudel with apple or chees. During the summer often barbeques and live music are waiting for you, and for children a playground and a petting zoo are offered.

This hike leads across the meadows, pastures and forestall areas of the Salto. Without major differences in altitude we arrive starting at Hafling the Leadner Alm and Waldbichl. In between there is also the possibility to make a detour to the viewpoint Knottenkino to enjoy a wonderful and unforgettable panorama. This tour tip is ideal for families who are used to walk. The terrain is varied and there are always inviting places for a rest, to play with the children or just to enjoy the wonderful nature.
