Impressive loop hike with stunning views of the Dolomites. The main focus of the hike is the geological history of the Dolomites surrounding the Sass de Putia (Peitlerkofel). Participants will also learn about the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site and the protected areas in South Tyrol that were key to the region’s recognition as a World Heritage Site. Organized by the Department for Nature, Landscape and Spatial Development of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano – South Tyrol and the Dolomites UNESCO Foundation. Difficulty: Sure-footedness required. (13 km, 550 m elevation gain, approx. 4.5 hours walking time) ⚠️ IMPORTANT: Please assess your personal fitness and abilities before registering! The fire brigade in South Tyrol is made up of volunteers, willing citizens who work hard to protect residents and tourists. In this evening demonstration, you can see the impressive rescue manoeuvres the fire brigade practises in order to always be ready to help.

For a quarter of a century, the Evening Market has turned the village centre of Antholz Mittertal into a lively meeting place full of flavour, music, and community spirit. On the mountain Astjoch there will celebrated a Mass (in german language) with the music band of Kiens/Chienes starting at 11.30 a.m.

The Planetarium of Verona, with an 8m dome, comes to San Vigilio. Discover a splendid spectacle, travelling among the constellations and planets with an augmented reality simulation. On July 29, 2025, the park of Mitterolang will turn into a special stage: the music project "Pushtra" will thrill you from 8:30 PM with its unique blend of traditional and modern sounds. Let yourself be carried away by the energy and passion of the musicians and enjoy a summer evening full of atmosphere. The concert will end around 10:00 PM. Free entry – just drop by and enjoy!

On the tracks of the biathlon elite: Come and experience the excitement of this large sports venue that has already hosted numerous international competitions. Take a closer look at the technical and functional rooms, the entire administration building and the spectator stands in more detail. We tell you exciting stories and give you interesting facts about the Südtirol Arena and not to be missed: we will also take a look at Antholz 2026. A film about biathlon rounds off your knowledge of the sport. Finally you can feel like an elite Biathlete and try out biathlon shooting: put your marksmanship to the test with five shots. Guided tours of the biathlon stadium including biathlon shooting at realistic small-bore conditions are scheduled twice a week from June to October in German and Italian language.
