28.11.2025 - 06.01.2026 Bruneck combines the charm of a small town with the unmistakable flair of a winter sports destination. Nestled at the foot of the snow-covered local mountain, Kronplatz, a stroll through the alleys of the old town reveals this special blend of Alpine coziness and Italian dolce vita. This is precisely why a visit to the Bruneck Christmas Market during the Advent season is an absolute must. The festive anticipation can be felt throughout the entire town. Lovingly decorated stalls invite visitors to browse through handicrafts, sweet treats, handmade decorations, and culinary delights. And with a cup of mulled wine, a winter evening can be pleasantly rounded off in good company.

In his series motusBerg, Heinz Innerhofer shows spotlights of South Tyrolean landscapes, mountains, and people. The photographs, both in black-and-white and color, resemble blurred sketches that talk about our landscape, which never seems to stand still.

A picturesque forest trail leads through forests to the impressive Klammbach waterfall and on to the Berger and Schwörz cabin, where you will be rewarded with a unique view. The glistening icicles and tranquil nature make this hike a special experience for nature lovers.

A charming nativity scene exhibition awaits you in the choir area of the pavilion. The participants of the nativity scene workshop proudly present their handcrafted creations, made with great attention to detail and bringing the Christmas story to life.

The torch-lit walk begins at the tourist office in Niederrasen and leads participants through the winter darkness, past snow-covered paths and picturesque landscapes. The route ends atmospherically at the Christmas market in the park, where the scent of mulled wine and baked goods welcomes the walkers. You can toast this magical winter evening with a warm drink – an unforgettable experience for young and old during the festive Advent season! NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED!

Try out the latest cross-country skis from top brands Fischer, Salomon and Atomic – for free! On December 14, the Nordic Ski Test Day at the Südtirol Arena Alto Adige offers high-quality equipment, expert advice, and excellent snow conditions – the perfect opportunity to find your next favorite pair of skis. A special highlight awaits visitors from 10:00 to 12:00: at the shooting range they can test their skills with biathlon shooting and experience real biathlon feeling. For the entire duration of the event, the cross-country trail fee is waived, allowing all participants to make full use of the testing opportunities.
