The wind, the bare rock and a panorama that only a few can claim to have seen. Nothing else can distract you from one of the most adrenaline-pumping and spectacular hikes in our area. The reward for challenging your limits? The 360-degree view from the summit of Piz da Peres, with the view stretching from the peaks of the Ahrntal valley to the glaciers of Austria. The hike is also suitable for beginners; only the easy section of the via ferrata is tackled. Should the guide judge the group to be sufficiently experienced, the entire via ferrata can be hiked. Excursion not recommended for those suffering from vertigo. Attention: minimum age 16 years. In the event of bad weather, an alternative programme is offered. Booking online or at the Tourist Office. The cost includes continuous accompaniment by a mountain guide. Harness, safety harness and helmet can be hired for €15.

The yoga experience at the fish pond in Antholz Niedertal is an oasis of calm that allows you to find your balance and peace in the breathtaking mountain scenery. This special yoga session at the lake, surrounded by natural beauty and tranquillity, promotes harmony of body and mind and offers a break from everyday life.

Children love to have make-up done and to slip into another role for a few hours. We transform the children's faces into imaginative characters such as pirates, butterflies, ladybirds, flower children, comic heroes and much more.

One hundred metres of pipes in various lengths with all kinds of joints and connections are used to create a pipe system that can be extended and converted by the children themselves.

On the colours, ready, go! The children immerse themselves in the world of art. Wood paints, wax paints, chalk or marbling paints as well as various printing and spraying techniques, a paint wheel and much more make the children become artists.

We will see which plants grow at altitude (2000m.a.s.l.), how to recognise them and use them. We will make butter with the herbs we have collected, which we will taste together on the terrace of the Graziani hut while looking at the beautiful panorama of the Dolomites The hike continues with an ascent to the summit of Plan di Corones, from where there is a 360° view. Here we will see one of the largest bells in Europe: the Concordia. Finally, we return on foot to the Furcia Pass. Lunch There is the possibility of stopping at the refuge (around 12 noon), or we can each take a packed lunch. How is a bee colony organised? How is honey made? Why are these industrious, seemingly never-tiring insects so important to us? Our beekeeper will accompany you to the apiary (20-minute walk). Equipped with protective beekeeping clothing, you will have the opportunity to observe a bee colony and learn more about the creation and production of honey. An exciting insight for young and old!

First you climb up over rocky terrain with our mountain guide Manuel and then dash down with the zipline in no time at all. There is also a slackline where you can prove your balance. The historical escape routes of Michael Gaismair and his army in 1525/26 as well as more recent escape routes from the 20th/21st century, which are shown in the exhibition in the form of pictures and photographs, are geographically divided into two presentation locations to the west and east of Bruneck: at LUMEN. Museum of Mountain Photography at Kronplatz focuses on Graubünden/Gadertal/Padua and Karwendel/Pyrenees/Western Alps, while at Museum Burg Heinfels the focus is on Zillertal/Salzburg/East Tyrol and Krimmler Tauern/Strandzha Mountains/Kurdistan. The wolf is back! - A human exhibition The return of the wolf raises old and new questions: How much wilderness can the densely populated alpine region tolerate? What does this mean for our relationship with the wolf? How does the predator's presence change our landscapes, herds, and ourselves? The current wolf debate shows that it is not just about the wolf. This exhibition, curated by the Alpine Museum of Switzerland, looks at people and their relationship with the wolf. It shows the situation up to 2017, with people who deal with this animal by profession recounting their experiences. Many parallels can be drawn between Switzerland, which is characterized by an alpine landscape, and South Tyrol. In comparison, there are data from South Tyrol and the latest information on the wolf situation from the Office for Wildlife Management in South Tyrol.

On the tracks of the biathlon elite: Come and experience the excitement of this large sports venue that has already hosted numerous international competitions. Take a closer look at the technical and functional rooms, the entire administration building and the spectator stands in more detail. We tell you exciting stories and give you interesting facts about the Südtirol Arena and not to be missed: we will also take a look at Antholz 2026. A film about biathlon rounds off your knowledge of the sport. Finally you can feel like an elite Biathlete and try out biathlon shooting: put your marksmanship to the test with five shots. Guided tours of the biathlon stadium including biathlon shooting at realistic small-bore conditions are scheduled twice a week from June to October in German language. His works can be found in numerous international public and private collections.

In the second half of the 19th century, running a business, practicing a skilled trade, or, least of all, being an alpinist was far from easy if you were a woman. The period between 1865 and 1914 saw numerous wives of photographers active in mountaineering and mountain photography, and it would not be possible to include them all in this exhibition. Instead, four women photographers were selected to represent the group in this exhibition. Among them, Elizabeth Whitshed Main takes a special place as an outstanding photographer, alpinist, and the founder of winter alpinism in general and winter tourism in the region of Engadin, Switzerland, in particular. The exhibition also features works by Gertrude Bell, Eleonore Noll-Hasenclever, and Una Cameron, three distinguished alpinists, travel journalists, and women’s rights activists. The life and work of these four pioneers of mountain photography are exhibited in rotation. On July 9th, the woodwind quintet QuinTirol invites you to an atmospheric concert in the parish church of Niederolang. Five experienced musicians from North, South, and East Tyrol will present a diverse program of original works – ranging from classical to contemporary music.
