After a fantastic football season and a well-deserved promotion to the 2nd Bundesliga, the professional team of Arminia Bielefeld will hold its third summer training camp in Kiens from Saturday, July 12 to Sunday, July 20 2025, to prepare for the 2025/26 season. As in previous years, the team will once again stay at the Kronhotel "Leitgam". Two friendly matches will be played in the region during the stay, highlighting the club's ongoing partnership with the Kiens Tourism Association. This collaboration, organized in cooperation with the agency Onside, will be managed locally by Onside. From Monday, July 14 to Friday, July 18 2025, children aged 6 to 14 can take part in the Arminia Football School Camp at the nearby sports field in St. Lorenzen, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day. Young footballers can let off steam, improve their technique, play fun game formats, and learn lots of new skills.

With the right know-how and the right equipment, the risk of an accident can be reduced or avoided - the certified guides from SAAC show you on the bike what is important in terms of accident prevention. Both theoretically and practically, the participants are taught the most important safety aspects, a correct riding technique and the right choice of material and equipment. Therefore, on 12/07 and 13/07/2025, and on 04/10 and 05/10/2025, every bike-interested person has the opportunity to deepen his knowledge and to refine his technique.  A "special edition" of the SAAC Bike Camp will take place too on Kronplatz/Plan de Corones, namely the "Girlpower Bike Camp", especially for women. Anyone who is at least 14 years old and wants to expand and force his bike awareness can participate!

A day full of flavour, music and mountain charm! On 13 July 2025, the idyllic Lanzwiesenalm warmly invites you to its traditional Alpine Festival. Starting at 11:00 a.m., visitors can look forward to a festive day in the heart of the Dolomites with a barbecue and Tyrolean specialities – surrounded by lush alpine meadows, fresh mountain air, and genuine Tyrolean spirit.

The historical escape routes of Michael Gaismair and his army in 1525/26 as well as more recent escape routes from the 20th/21st century, which are shown in the exhibition in the form of pictures and photographs, are geographically divided into two presentation locations to the west and east of Bruneck: at LUMEN. Museum of Mountain Photography at Kronplatz focuses on Graubünden/Gadertal/Padua and Karwendel/Pyrenees/Western Alps, while at Museum Burg Heinfels the focus is on Zillertal/Salzburg/East Tyrol and Krimmler Tauern/Strandzha Mountains/Kurdistan. The wolf is back! - A human exhibition The return of the wolf raises old and new questions: How much wilderness can the densely populated alpine region tolerate? What does this mean for our relationship with the wolf? How does the predator's presence change our landscapes, herds, and ourselves? The current wolf debate shows that it is not just about the wolf. This exhibition, curated by the Alpine Museum of Switzerland, looks at people and their relationship with the wolf. It shows the situation up to 2017, with people who deal with this animal by profession recounting their experiences. Many parallels can be drawn between Switzerland, which is characterized by an alpine landscape, and South Tyrol. In comparison, there are data from South Tyrol and the latest information on the wolf situation from the Office for Wildlife Management in South Tyrol.

Studio house for sculpture, public art interventions, drawing and painting in the historic Fundneyt residence near Klausen/Chiusa (Dolomites, Italy). Teaches and lectures at various universities. His works can be found in numerous international public and private collections.

In the second half of the 19th century, running a business, practicing a skilled trade, or, least of all, being an alpinist was far from easy if you were a woman. The period between 1865 and 1914 saw numerous wives of photographers active in mountaineering and mountain photography, and it would not be possible to include them all in this exhibition. Instead, four women photographers were selected to represent the group in this exhibition. Among them, Elizabeth Whitshed Main takes a special place as an outstanding photographer, alpinist, and the founder of winter alpinism in general and winter tourism in the region of Engadin, Switzerland, in particular. The exhibition also features works by Gertrude Bell, Eleonore Noll-Hasenclever, and Una Cameron, three distinguished alpinists, travel journalists, and women’s rights activists. The life and work of these four pioneers of mountain photography are exhibited in rotation. Una May Cameron is currently being exhibited. OPENING TEMPORARY EXHIBITION: 12/07/2025 My wife and I were expecting the birth of our daughter in 2021, the year my book MASSIV was published. During this time, I felt a growing desire to send a strong message about the protection of the Alps. That‘s why I donated all of the proceeds from the book – over 100,000 euros – to projects aimed at preserving our mountains. I didn‘t want to have to explain to my daughter later that I had stood by and done nothing while our Alps were under threat. Shortly before the book was published, I also made a short film called "A letter to my daughter" – a personal, hopeful letter to my unborn child.

Together with the herb enthusiast Tamara Seyr, you will dive into the fascinating world of medicinal and wild herbs. You will discover various plants and their beneficial effects, transforming them into valuable natural products using time-tested recipes. Whether it’s nourishing salves, soothing tinctures, healthy juices, or aromatic herbal salts – every ingredient becomes something truly special. With great passion and expertise, herbal expert and author Tamara will gladly share her knowledge with you and take the time to answer all your questions. By the end of the workshop, you will take home not only a wealth of new recipes but also your own handcrafted herbal products – along with plenty of inspiration to see nature with fresh eyes!
