The heart of the house: Restaurant Terra Only a few steps from heaven you'll find the highest-located starred restaurant in Italy. Everything you get at Terra - The Magic Place is home-made. The cuisine of gourmet chef Heinrich Schneider is modern and of subtle finesse. The dishes are characterised by products from South Tyrol and farmers from the immediate vicinity. These unique gourmet highlights are matched with the best wines, recommended by the certified sommelier Gisela Schneider, sister of Heinrich. The reconstruction works in the restaurant, the heart of the house, will be concluded in May 2014. Now, the restaurant will also have its own name: "Terra". Taste with all your senses. Anyone going on holiday wants to eat the kind of meals they do not get at home. This is exactly what we promise you: You will get that from us! Because our excellent kitchen will prepare for you the food you have always wanted to eat.

The self-service restaurant and the cosy Tyrolean Stube on the ground floor of the Kolpinghaus are open daily, Monday to Friday from 11:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Saturday from 12:00 noon to 1:30 p.m. The central location of the restaurant offers its guests a tasty two-course menu of South Tyrolean specialities every day, consisting of classic and international dishes and a large vegetable and salad buffet. On request and by prior arrangement, the restaurant is also open in the evening and at weekends for groups of travellers.

Tradition and Originality! Our Gothic drawing room at the country manor house dates back to the 11th century. It was the residence of the "Lords of Wangen" and also of successive generations. The last restoration took place at the end of the 18th century. The Restaurant Laurin every day invites to taste local and Mediterranean specialties in its elegant Liberty room. The creativity of our chef de cuisine Manuel Astuto serve local and seasonal products together with seafood typicalties. Our restaurant supports the “Fair Cooking” movement, that’s the reason why you can find some fair trade ingredients. Our elegant dining room can seat up to 80 guests. The main ornament consists of a cycle of affrescos by Rudolf Stolz showing the 12 months in allegoric figures. The work of art dates back to the 1920’. A large window front opens towards the garden and gives insight to the impressive park landscape

Our bar/restaurant is only open on Saturday and Sunday with a small menu. For groups of 15 people or more, we are also open outside of opening hours by prior arrangement. In autumn we offer our traditional “Törggelen” for everyone. For our pension guests, our bar is open every day and we offer smaller dishes by prior arrangement.
