    The Madritsch Hut is located in Solda, below the Madritsch Pass in the middle of the mountain world around King Ortles. The hut can be reached via the large Solda panoramic cable car to the mountain station at 2,610 m. The family-friendly hiking trail along the summer pasture of Reinhold Messner's yaks takes you to the Madritsch Hut (2,820 m) in around 1 hour. On the sun terrace you will be enchanted by Tyrolean specialties and the breathtaking mountain scenery. The Madritsch hut, which is typically furnished with wood, was largely rebuilt in 2017 and furnished in a modern style. The kitchen spoils you with traditional South Tyrolean & Italian dishes such as Tyrolean dumplings, Schlutzkrapfen and delicious Kaiserschmarrn. In the Yak Bar, hot chocolate or coffee awaits you and in Europe’s highest igloo, cool beer, Willi afterwards and great après-ski music await you. Enjoy the unique view of the Ortler Group from the sun terrace.

    The K2 Hut is located at an altitude of 2,350 m, directly at the mountain station of the Langenstein chairlift. This location offers not only breathtaking views but also the opportunity to fully enjoy the fresh mountain air. The terrace of the mountain restaurant, which stands out for its unique archi-tectural design, invites you to bask in the sun in a relaxed atmosphere – with a direct view of the impressive Ortler. The menu at the K2 Hut is diverse: daily specials, juicy steaks, and delicious fish specialties are served, delighting both gourmets and hikers. A special highlight is the homemade apple strudel, which should never be missed during a visit. The K2 Hut is accessible via hiking trails 3 and 4. Alternatively, you can also conveniently reach the hut by the Langenstein chairlift.

    Starting point: mountain station cable car Rosskopf Monte Cavallo – Vipiteno (1.850m) Starting from the mountain station of the cable car Rosskopf Monte Cavallo hike along the wide path no. 23. The trail increases slightly southwestwards. Continue to walk over a mountain bridge and further on to the mountain pasture Ochsenalm (1.907m). From there follow the ridgeway under the summits Telfer Weißen to the cirque of the mountain pasture Seeberalm with the lake Seebersee. Alternative: reachable also from the valley head Ridanna across the same path to the mountain pasture Prischeralm and following the path no. 23 towards the mountain pasture Seeberalm. Tip: alpine mountain lake

    From Obertal (1.298 m) in Jaufental, turn left to the hamlet of Ontratt and follow the alpine road respectively the new created hiking trail into the valley. Along the trail we cross the Gurgl cascade, which rushes imposingly over rocky territories and pulverizes the water-molecule. Continuing on trail no. 12A, we take the last few metres before reaching the Bergalm mountain pasture with its alpine dairy.

After walking through roaming larch forests stop at the cozy Café for some delicious regional food – these are just some of the many adventures awaiting you on your hiking trip through the famous Val Senales (Schnalstal). You can easily reach us via one of the many hiking routes, some of which lead all the way to Kortsch/Schlanders in Vinschgau. The Bergl Alm is the perfect spot for families with children, who will be able to play freely in the alpine meadow and our own little playground, while their parents relax in the sun.

From there follow a forest path to the mountain hut Zunderspitzhütte and after about 20 minutes you reach the upper Gewingesalm.

    The Schgaguler Schwaige mountain hut, lying at 1905m near the mountain station of the Ortisei / Alpe di Siusi cable car, opened in 1991. The hut is easily reached regardless of the season, whether during a bike tour or hike in summer or as part of a ski tour or snowshoe hike in winter. The spacious terrace is perfect for an outdoor lunch and guests can head to the garden to relax and sunbathe in the deckchairs. There is a playground and a small petting zoo nearby, where rabbits, goats, ponies and even lamas look forward to a visit from the children. The rustic interior is in traditional rustic style and includes a Stube perfect for spending time in good company - often for longer than expected, especially in winter! Tasty homemade traditional South Tyrolean dishes are all freshly prepared using the farm’s own products. Leave behind the stressful everyday life and enjoy the almost untouched nature of the Planeil valley. You are welcome to relax on our sun terrace while tasting our food made from regional products. We place big value on fresh ingredients from the region and this is why we try to produce as much as possible ourselves. From mid-June our cows are back on the pasture and that is when we start the daily production of cheese, butter, yogurt, etc. Open from the beginning of June until the end of October.

    At 1530 m, idyllically situated between the pilgrimage site of Maria Weissenstein and the Bletterbach Gorge and the Corno Bianco, we welcome you. On our family-run alpine pasture we offer typical South Tyrolean dishes and homemade cakes and desserts. The Malga Petersberger Leger Alm can be comfortably reached in 35-40 minutes from the car park in Maria Weissenstein - also with prams. From the Malga Laab Alm in Nova Ponente it is about 30 minutes on foot. We are also open in the evenings on reservation. Hot food from 11.30 a.m. to 04.00 p.m.
