From there, take the forest road into the Valtigltal valley. Where the path loops to the left, you can take a shortcut just to the right of the stream. You come to a shallow open valley. Go straight in to the right of the stream until you reach the alpine pasture Valtiglalm (1741 m , where the valley is closed off by a rock bar. Go up to in front of the rock bar and to the right of it up a slope that becomes narrower and narrower towards the top and ends at the exit of a gorge on the left. You now cross to the left along the ridge until you reach a small alpine hut on the now flatter ground. You now walk out a few hollows until you reach the alpine pasture Entholzer Alm (2039 m), which you leave on the left. Climb up a moderate slope to a knoll, then swing out to the right under the steep summit slope, keeping to the right, up to the summit cross.

The ski tour from Ridnaun/Ridanna valley to the Ratschinger Kreuz summit is a simple to medium ski tour along a northern slope.

Ascent: From Ried across the valley floor to the wooden bridge. Cross it and walk up to the right of the stream over a steep hollow below the Steinhof. Above the fence on the left, flat above the stream into the valley until you reach a path. Cross this to the right and continue along the road. From there, take the forest road into the Valtigltal valley. Where the path loops to the left, you can take a shortcut just to the right of the stream. You come to a shallow open valley. Go straight in to the right of the stream until you reach the alpine pasture Valtiglalm (1741 m). The valley is now closed off by a rock barl. Walk up to the rocks and to the right up a slope in the shape of a triangle. This becomes narrower towards the top and ends under rocks on the left. You now cross to the left onto a ridge out to a small alpine hut on the flat ground of the upper valley. A few depressions now lead across to the alpine pasture Entholzer Alm (2039 m), which you leave on the left. Continue straight towards Ratschinger Joch and right to the summit with cross.

    Skitour Flatschkofel
Olang/Valdaora, Dolomites Region Kronplatz/Plan de Corones

Starting right behind the Gasthof Bad Bergfall, follow the path Forstweg (Weg 32), first for a little while across two hairpin curves in direction west, then the path turns toward Sud, direction Langtal. From here you will reach soon a bridge that crosses the torrent on the right side. Now you can either go on on the left bank, or also cross the bridge and then turn right, so that you find yourself on the right bank. At an height of about 1700m, the ditch divides itself. Now you go up through the right side of the valley, across a declining forest. Later on the terrain will become flat again and you will be able to easily walk through a thinner forest and then reach the Jägershütte. From here the route goes on until the so-called Lapedurscharte (2200m). From here there is an uphill toward the Dreifingerspitze. From the crossroad you have to take the left for a light decline in order to reach, through a mild hill, the peak (2417 m).

    Ratschinger Weiße summit ski tour
    Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs

Ascent: First follow the forest road upwards over a few serpentines and then enter the Lazzachertal valley. Cross the first bridge and continue uphill on the left side of the valley. After about 6 km, turn left at the fork in the road. After the fork, turn right around the mountain corner and continue to the ruins of the old “Poschhaus”. Still further into the valley to the last bridge (2200 m). Continue straight along the valley and up to the right of a gorge over a ridge into a plain (2400 m). Behind a hill turn left and above the gorge turn left into the shallow valley. Through hollows to below the Sandjoch (2550 m). Now turn left to below the summit. Straight up and right onto the ridge (2760 m). Diagonally left, very steeply upwards to the narrow ridge (2790 m). Cross this (possibly carrying your skis for a short while) to the right and descend a few metres into a notch. On the other side, a short but steep ascent to the summit plateau and to the highest point with iron bar. The summit cross is a little lower and a little further ahead. Descent as ascent.

! After heavy fresh snowfalls, the path into the Lazzachertal valley is avalanche-prone.

The Einachtspitze summit at the entrance of the Ridnauntal/Val Ridanna offers a short but scenic ski tour..

Ascent: A short distance up the slope and above the houses of Entholz across meadows to the left edge of the forest to a farm building. Just behind this, take the summer path (Mark. No. 25) up through the forest to the right of the stream until you reach a forest road coming from the left. Continue along this to the right until you reach the junction with the sign "Joggelealm/Einachtspitze". Continue right along the forest road to the alpine pasture Wildenhütte (1930 m). Go straight up over open terrain, pass under a barn to the right and then left over to the already visible the alpine pasture Joggelealm (2070 m). Again, diagonally left uphill towards the northeast ridge of the Einachtspitze. Go up through a wide hollow and then in a short traverse left onto the ridge. Cross it and pass a few times a little to the left of it under a small rocky rise to the right. Shortly over a wide ridge to the summit.

Descend: as in the ascent to the alpine pasture Wildenhütte or, if snow conditions are safe, directly over the northeast flank.

    Fleckner summit ski tour
    Ratschings/Racines, Sterzing/Vipiteno and environs

The Fleckner summit is one of the easiest beginner mountains in the Ratschingstal/Val Racines. The safe snow conditions, the slightly to moderate slopes on the northern hillside and the relatively short ascent make the Fleckner a popular mountain for alpine touring ski starters.

Ascent: Along the forest road for about 1.5 km. After a bend to the right, turn left onto another forest road. After another right turn, leave the forest road and walk steeply for a short distance on a trail through dense forest until you meet another forest road again, to the right of the so-called Waldhüttl (1744 m). Do not cross over to the Waldüttl, but continue straight on across an open area and then through the forest until you reach the path again. Again, straight on uphill through a forest until you reach the open alpine pasture area above the forest line at two alpine huts (1822 m). Pass the alp on the right and turn diagonally right up into the long hollow. Now left of the Saxner north ridge up this entire hollow to the saddle. From the saddle over the ridge on the left to the summit with cross.

    Descent: as ascent.

Important! At the left turn (in the downhill direction) at 1620 m you should not go straight down (young forest!).

    Zunserspitze summit ski tour

Ascent from P1: At the fire station shortly before the village Maiern in the rear Ridnaun valley, turn right towards the hamlet of Braunhofe and park on the right after the bridge. Walk back to the fire station, where trail no. 29 begins and leads to the alpine pasture Untere Gewingesalm. Here we keep to the right and first climb steeply up the slopes and then continue more flatly to the alpine pasture Obere Gewingesalm. From the alpine pasture, not too steeply, straight up to a knoll and then keep left towards the steep slope / ridge of the Zunderspitze. Follow the ridge up to the summit cross. Possibly set up a ski depot at the start of the ridge and ascend to the summit on foot. The descent is the same as the ascent.

Ascent from P2: From Maiern follow the road to the hamlet of Bergl, park on the right at the third bridge. Go left up the forest road, trail no. 29b, and follow it up a slight incline until the junction 29, then follow the directions from above.
