Start from the locality Burgum. Follow the forest road on the right side of the valley through the Burgumtal valley to the hut “Burgumeralm”. Then head east along the valley floor to the saddle (no name) at the end of the “Fockenzähne” (Eng.: pig teeth). Head northwest over the broad ridgeback, on the left of the ridge of the “Karjöchl”. Continue along the southwest ridge. After approx. 100 meters you can find the ski depot. Via the south flank the summit can be reached by some easy climbing.
