We offer fresh bread and bread rolls, cakes, strudels and pastries – some homemade – every day, including Sundays. Cool drinks and refreshing ice cream sundaes.

The café works almost exclusively with regional produce: our range captures the international zeitgeist and offers simple, unfussy enjoyment: coffee, smoothies, small sweet treats and various aperitifs. We put great emphasis on homespun, high quality.

Restaurant Cafe Pichler is situated at the valley terminal of the Taser cablecar. Sunny terrace and panoramic views to Schenna and Meran. Italian and typical Tyrolean dishes, vegetarian cuisine, cakes and ice-cream specialities. From May to October, if the weather is good, we offer live music on Sunday mornings, as well as a grill.

"Gsteier" - that is the name of our own small mountain inn with close-to-nature farming. Sheep graze in the pasture, chickens scratch in the yard, the fountain splashes, a mill wheel turns, the farm garden thrives and sprouts - and the sun shines until half past nine in the summer. Everything on the table is home-produced: eggs, lamb dishes, bacon, salad,...

High up in the Hirzer hiking area. Here on our alm at 1970 metres above sea level we will be happy to indulge you with a freshly prepared apple pancake or a bacon dumpling soup after a hike or lovely tour of the summits. The majority of our Tyrolean specialities are prepared using our own produce. Our private alm, or alpine pasture, is open right through from mid-April until the beginning of November. We will be pleased to provide you with suggested routes for hiking to the alm.

In our kitchen, we place great importance on using fresh, local ingredients. Our kitchen team will prepare traditional Tyrolean dishes that have been passed down through generations. The Gasthof Videgg has been a traditional family-run business for over 60 years, operated by the Mair family. Following the devastating fire in March 2023, the inn will reopen in April 2025.

Restaurant, pizzeria and café come with a beautiful garden and wonderful views of the centre of Schenna. The Schennerhof offers a combination of good home cooking and Tyrolean dishes, Mediterranean and international cuisine. Specialized in Meat with different Steak-Cuts made in our new Steak Broiler at high temperature (950°). Pizza is being served for lunch and dinner. On request, we also serve gluten-free dishes. Schenna’s largest choice of exquisite wines, as well as cake and ice-cream specialities.
