The natural bathing pond in Lüsen is a small, idyllic mountain lake right in the midst of South Tyrol. When people hear the word 'Bee' they think of honey, or perhaps they recall the pain of a sting.
My life as a beekeeper began when I was a child. Over the years I experienced the discomfort of a bee’s sting many times, yet I still retain a passion for these beautiful animals.
Our family operates around eighty beehives and the quality of our honey is most important. We only harvest from honeycomb that is sealed by the bees for storage, so that the honey retains all the vital elements. Our honey is unblended and pure, and is certified with the ‘Extracted Honey’ quality label. Our honeycombs are free from larvae and residues, giving this premium quality honey a delicious unique flavour.

Through the season we harvest the following types of honey:
